About: I have a degree in veterinary science and I’m currently on the road to attend veterinary school! I have lots of knowledge on pet behavior and how to properly care for them. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for the past few years. I’ve worked in general practice, emergency animal hospitals, and even a pet hotel. I’ve cared for hundreds of patients, provided preventative care, treatments, medications, cleaned their kennels, walked dogs, and played with them. I also helped my senior dog turn around her health around by helping her lose 8 lbs! I’m currently preparing for my VTNE, so for the next few weeks I will only be doing Rover! I’ve been working for animals for the past few years, I truly love what I do. I’m a veterinary technician so I’m no stranger to daily pet care for cats & dogs. In my home, I take care of both of my cats. I feed them, clean their litter boxes, clip their nails, and clean their ears.

About: I am that person who stops everything wherever I am to talk to dogs walking or play with them in the pet store. Pets are great friends. I work full time from home. 6a-230p. About: Hi there, I’m Emileigh! Since I was old enough to hold a leash, I have been the neighborhood pet sitter. I have lived in many different places and at each and every one of them, I have house-sat, walked neighbor’s dogs, and done regular checkups on pets of many different shapes and sizes. I have even had the privilege of working at a horse farm where I had the responsibility of feeding and caring for a variety of animals such as horses, cats, dogs, goats and donkeys. In other words, I deeply enjoy the company of animals, and I have found that caring for them is one of the most rewarding and worthwhile things that I can spend my time doing. I am a traditional artist with a constant desire for the company of furry friends, while also currently doing housekeeping on some weekday mornings. Due to the commission work I do being a very flexible, self-motivated type of profession, and my housekeeping commitment coming to a close in April, I am able to work around pet care, of which I primarily offer in the afternoons. The first goal that I set for myself when entering any pup’s home is to assess how they are doing while scanning the environment for any kinds of disturbances, or anything to note. When on walks, my priorities are safety, being aware of our environment, making sure that the pup is comfortable, and of course, making sure that we are having a good time! I fully believe that you can never ask too many questions, so I will make sure that I learn as much as I can about the pup and how to make them feel comfortable and cared for, as trust is very important to me. Overall, I will prioritize that both the pup and I are in the safest situations possible when it comes to both environment and being in the company of each other.

“This was my first experience with Rover. The only challenge was using the app and redeeming the coupon. It wasn't initially offered when I registered. The caregivers helped walk me through it. There were two caregivers' names posted, but only one serviced the dogs and the other one discussed my concerns. But when I met the second one, she got the same rundown. Overall, they were both pleasant, and the one who actually came to the house was sweet and kind to my furbabies.”

“Deb was the exact pet sitter we’ve been searching so long for. First, she was available on short notice when plans came up for us unexpectedly. She also had no problem doing a meet and greet within 24hrs notice. She was so sweet to Sam and clearly loved animals. She was happy to walk through all the quirks of the animals and was in no rush. So many sitters on Rover show up for five minutes, let our pup out, and tell us they are leaving (despite the fact that we pay for a 30min visit). I’d resigned myself to the fact that it’s just the way Rover is. Then we found Deb. She texted when she arrived for the visit and checked in on how Sam was and let him out the first time. She sent a few pictures on how he was (and even checked in on how our cat was even though he wasn’t on the docket for the day). Then much later she checked in again and took Sam out a second time. She used up all the 30mins and more. She shared how much she knew animals are social and value human connection. I’ve been searching far and wide for a sitter who understands that. Deb is that person. We will without a doubt be using Deb going forward. She is one of a kind.”
