“I recently moved to B'hem and this was my first time using Rover and Blythe. I always hate leaving my Bug and I felt comfortable with her right away. She was very communicative, asked questions readily, and sent updates with pics from every visit. I was very happy (and so was Bug!) and hope to use her in the future. :)”

About: Dogs may wear their hearts on their sleeves, but cats make you earn their trust - and I love them both for it. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so I understand the unique quirks, personalities, and care needs that come with both. My goal is simple: make your pets feel loved, safe, and as comfortable as possible until you come back home to them (with plenty of photo updates, of course!) ♥️🐾 I work remotely, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for dog walks and drop-in visits. I’m available for both recurring weekday care and occasional visits, including cat care while you’re traveling. My schedule varies throughout the week, so feel free to reach out to me with the days and times you’re looking for - I’m always happy to see if we can find a schedule that works! I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. My goal is to keep their day as consistent and predictable as possible, giving them the individualized care they need.
About: Throughout high school, my family fostered dogs through a local rescue, where we had the opportunity to take in dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs and around animals and I have always been the go to pet and house sitter for friends and family! I have taken care of my own dogs in addition to fostering dogs for about 2 years and dog sitting for families for over 3 years! I am currently a college student at Lehigh University living on campus and I do have a car, so I am more than willing to stop by and care for your pets or dog and house ist for longer times if needed! Having experience in dog sitting in addition to fostering dogs and cats, I have a good understanding of how to care for a pet and how to cater to their needs and their environment, no matter their size, temperament, or age!
“Jackie is fantastic! She communicated well, was on time, provided walk and backyard fun for our pup and a prompt followup of how the visit went. We will certainly call upon her services for a drop in visit again. Thanks Jackie!”

“Christina M. is an experienced long time pet owner who loves her job. My Beagle/ Jack Russel Terrier adores her when she walks him. She is always on time and contacts me with any concerns or questions. If your looking for a responsibile caring pet person I highly recommend booking Christina M.”
“Kirsten was awesome with my cats. They are both shy and or particular. She had them coming out to great her, playing and asking for pets. She clearly cares about animals and took great care of my babies. Would recommend and engage her services again!”

About: Having grown up with dogs and pet-sat for close friends for years, caring for animals is a true passion of mine. You can count on me to treat your dog with the exact same love, attention, and dedicated care that I would give my own. As a remote OCD therapist, I have a flexible schedule with free mornings for dog walks. Since I work from home in the evenings, your dog gets plenty of daytime attention, consistent companionship, and attentive care. With extensive hands-on experience in dog sitting and daily walking, I treat every pet in my care with the exact same love, safety, and attention I would give my own. To me, your dog isn’t just a pet—they are family, and their comfort and happiness are always my top priorities.
“Lindsey did an amazing job with my two dogs and three cats when we were away. My dogs were happier than they’ve ever been upon returning home. Lindsey sent me pictures which was a plus as well. I highly recommend Lindsey!”

“Holli, did a fantastic job taking care of our animals and we’re extremely grateful that she was able to step in for a pretty last minute scheduling when someone else had a conflict come up. I plan to reach out to her again, she did meds for our dog and cat as well. Thank you!”

“Amy is delightful! My Pixie girl adored her and loved all the petting and attention. Amy is very conscientious, administered medicine, took care of requests, and cleaned up. Will definitely be booking with her again. 😻 Thank you!”

About: Having experienced 8 years with geriatric patients brought me to also care for their furry 4 legged family members when assisting with their personalized care at home. I'm available during the day between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday thru Thursday when my sons not home from school. I work Friday thru Sunday but can be available late evenings between 5p.m. and 10 p.m. I live in 2nd floor apartment with balcony. I keep plants and very clear space in the back yard. I keep certain treats and a dog bed on my balcony for when my 2 year old German Shephard dog nephew visits.
“Joan was great! She checked in on our 2 dogs while we did a day trip to Maryland. She was great about communicating and sending me updates & pictures. My dogs loved her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I was always the one to clean up after them and ensure they had new toys and a clean space to enjoy. I am currently working part time and off Fridays. I would like to earn some extra cash to continue growing my daughters savings so she can get a good education. I have a fenced in yard. I currently have 3 dogs and a fish and a toddler. When walking my dogs, I usually take all 3 and make sure I am aware of my surroundings due to have frenchies I am always extra cautious.
“This is my second time working with Marie Louise and was extremely happy to have worked with her. When I came back from my trip my cat was well taken care of and in good spirits thanks to Marie. Highly recommend working with her.”

“Nida is wonderful. She is reliable, takes really good care of our cat and we know we can trust her. Also provides us with timely reports and pictures- our kitty loves her!!😻”

About: I have always loved dogs! To be honest I can't pass one when I am out for a walk or a drive without saying hello or waving. Dogs are amazing creatures, providing both loyalty and unconditional love to their humans. While I have a great deal of respect for any person who has made the commitment to give a dog in need a forever home, I understand that not all dog lovers can be present 24/7. With that being said, I hope you and your dog will pick me to be your stand-in human. Whether at work or away for the day, I promise your dog lots of love and fun exercise! We’ll be the walk of the town! I am a school-based occupational therapist and am off for the summer, so I’m free morning, afternoon, and evening 7 days a week! I’m a lover of all animals domestic and wild. Your dog (or cat) will have my undivided attention and be treated with the care and respect they deserve, just as I have cared for my own pets.

Jessica does an excellent job taking care of my cat. She is extremely shy and is almost never seen but Jessica still talks to her and leaves her favorite toys out do she can play. I have had her care for Maggie multiple times and she is always professional and considerate.

Cortney was a god send. She did a last minute drop in with my anxious little guy Gavin and I couldn’t be happier. She was so patient and attentive to him. Let him out to wee, gave him fresh water and even left puss and boots on for him lol She will definitely be my go to from now on!

This is my first time using Rover and Amelia did amazing with my puppies I have an 8yr old and a 7month old puppy I reached out last minute and she was more than happy to help my dogs LOVED HER! my 8yr old is a picky eater and he ate just fine while she was around. She followed all my instructions and took them out to the yard plenty of times 🥺! She also sent pictures and video updates which felt much more reassuring of course my first time and I was terrified to let some one in my home and around my babies she did amazing will be booking again soon. THANK YOU AMELIA!! 🐾

Amy provided great care for our two kitties while we were away on vacation. She sent photos of them, made sure they had a clean litter box, and provided special dietary care for one of them. She went above and beyond to check on them extra when our HVAC broke during a heat wave. Thanks Amy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
