About: Since pre-teen, I grew up with dogs mostly as my parents had several dogs in the house. I love to care for dogs and make sure they’re happy and loved. Before Rover, I’ve walked and looked after neighbors’ dogs and owners have confided in me to care for them while they are away (i.e., family vacations, business trips, etc…). About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs. I currently care for three dogs of my own, including a senior dog who requires extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I also cared for my previous dog throughout his battle with epilepsy. Administering his medication on schedule and staying with him during and after his seizures taught me how important it is to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate during stressful situations. Because of these experiences, I'm comfortable caring for senior pets, administering oral medications, and providing extra attention to animals with special needs. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with plenty of patience, affection, playtime, and reliable care. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. Since I am a Nursing Student at ESU, my daily schedule is jam-packed with classes. However, my evenings are usually relatively open and I am always open to overnight sitting! I love animals with all my heart and spending time with different personalities is really special to me. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. In my client's home, I make it a priority to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible by following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, going on walks or playing as needed, cleaning up after them, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I'm also happy to administer oral medications and provide extra care for senior pets or those with special needs. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets.
