About: Animal lover willing to spend time and give love to pets of all kinds! Have had experience watching other peoples animals, both cats and dogs, long and short term. Have taken on responsibilities such as walks, baths, grooming, playtime, and more. I currently have a very flexible schedule, so it will be likely for me to be able to accommodate everyone! I am available both weekends and weekdays, from earlier in the morning to later into the evening. Not currently able to take in any animals at this time, but would be able to watch them for a short period of time during the day or to stay and watch them at their owners house

“Thank you for taking such great care of Dude! I always know he is in the best hands possible. I rest easier know you treat him so great in my absence. Thank you!!”

“I've got a senior dog with health issues who has been wearing the cone of shame. Jackson never gave up and continuously showed up to take care of my pup, make sure her needs were met until she adjusted just fine. Working odd hours is stressful, but knowing my pup is being taking care of with consistent care has helped me so much. Also, his communication is clear and he's very friendly!”

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life and I have 6 years of professional dog care experience working at an Austin non-profit rescue! I have 2 dogs and 1 cat at home who are very loved and spoiled :) I have extensive experience with various behavioral/medical quirks, including on-leash reactivity, fearful/undersocialized behavior, defensive aggression, paralysis/incontinence (including bladder expressions), wound care, and more! I'm not currently working so I have all the time in the world to play with and spoil your fur babies! I'm available most weekdays, and weekend availability is determined on a week-to-week basis. I have a large room/bathroom to hang out with your pet in, and my place is just a short walk from my community's off leash dog park! We can hang out there when no other dogs are around, and/or walk around the many grassy areas and trails in my neighborhood.

“Diana was absolutely fantastic. It’s super important to keep the routine as a busy mom, and she fully supported that by showing up on time every time. In addition, she brought such a positive vibe to our dog despite the extreme heat. I’m definitely grateful to have found Diana for our dog. I’ll highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Very communicative and was available on short notice! I felt so at ease knowing he read thru my profile and saw our pup’s specific needs. Will definitely book again!”

“Danielle was great with coming by to walk my dog Roxy for me while I was gone! She was very attentive, communicative, and flexible. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Ashley has been in our lives, caring for my dog and cat (and me), for over a YEAR now! She is a gem and a loving Dog Mama herself. I appreciate that she understands my sweet, but often reactive, pup and has worked to boost her confidence on walks. She is enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible, even when the unforeseen Ice Storm kept changing the schedule. Basically, she just feels like a friend at this point - someone I implicitly trust! Our fam is very grateful.”

“Taylor was wonderfully communicative, very accommodating to my little pups needs and open to bringing along her own pup for extra socialization on the walk. Will definitely book again!”

About: Drew and I used to host lots of different Rover pups, and loved it! In 2019 we had a baby, in 2020 we got a dog of our own, and now in 2024 we are ready to host on Rover again. If you've got a pup (or two) that are good with kids and other dogs, please give us a shout! We've got a small, friendly crew here ready to help out. We also have a fenced-in yard and a dog pool for the summer heat. (Although all dogs are also welcome to just chill inside in the a/c with us or cuddle up on the couch.) Since we already have a daily routine with our own dog, we will most likely follow the same routine with yours unless you have special requests, which are welcome. We have a very secure and safe fenced-in yard, as well as a sweet puppy and kiddo companion for your dog. Ask me questions and let me know what you need.

About: Hi there! I’m Elena, a lifelong dog owner. I love dogs and can’t imagine my life without them, the fun times and all the love and joy they bring into our lives. I’ve cared for friends and family members’ dogs and cats since I was in middle school, walking them, feeding them, and pet sitting them while their humans were traveling. I love how each pet has their own personality and the little funny things they do - they always bring about giggles and a smile to my face. I’m looking forward to meeting your pup and getting to play and care for them. I’m currently a grad student working part-time with plenty of flexibility in my schedule both during the week and on weekends. I’m happy to work with you to coordinate a time that works well for both of us. I’m happy to walk your fur babies around your neighborhood and/or check in on them and let them out in your yard and play with them. I’m very detail-oriented and mindful of any directions provided to help ensure your pup has a positive experience. My goal is to ensure your pups are comfortable and well-taken care of.

“Anai is the best dog walker in the world! I am almost reluctant to leave such a rave review because I know once the word gets out, her schedule will be fully booked. Dependable, reliable, gentle, and kind, my dog absolutely loves her. I know yours will, too!”

About: I can visit, play, feed, administer basic meds, and/or walk your pet! I have walked cats (haven't met one that has wanted to run while on leash yet though ;) .....). I love taking walks & being outside. I can jog with your pup too, but with intermittent breaks (2 knee surgeries-so I keep it light). I've owned, rehabbed, and fostered all kinds of animals from basic pets to opossums to foxes and everything in between! I’ve had animals since I was 8. I’ve taken care of animals, house sat, and boarded for friends/neighbors/clients over the years. Also have experience in basic dog training & love to work on enrichment! I adore all animals and promise to love them just as much as you do. I'm detail oriented, reliable, trustworthy, and a positive person. Please let me know if they have any allergies to treats-I do bring some with me! If I house sit-I bring my own sheets & bath towels & will ensure your home is as it was when I arrived - meaning I’m clean & will keep it clean! My current animal situation: (1) cat who is timid. I do overnights with animals & dog walking with Austin Animal Center, and foster when timing permits! Work remotely, so I have flexibility and time to help with your animal(s)! I love taking walks & since I don’t have a dog right now, I walk dogs at AAC and walk the trail on the weekends. Happy to accommodate to whatever is needed. Any of my pricing includes feeding as well as time with them: playing, walking, etc. - never just a walk and leave situation (unless that's what you prefer). I will uphold any rules you have (staying off of furniture, etc) or offer a bit of training if you like. I can administer pills/shots. I’ll send pictures, let you know upon arrival and departure, and ensure your animals are well taken care of & loved!

Chad B.

“I have known Chad for over 10 years, during this time he has helped me keep my Pit Bulls, and I had 4 a same time, siblings that lived to be 13, lost all to cancer. Chad would take them to lake, to Town Lake trail in Austin for the afternoon and get exercise. I never worried about their safety or health as knew he would take care of them for me. I would leave town on weekends to Mother in Laws place and Chad was the person that I trusted with my babies....”

Alyson D.Star Sitter
“ Alyson is a warm, loving person who is patient, kind and hands on. She and her fiancé Drew, have a nice home with a shaded and fenced back yard in Austin. Their home is pet friendly and always welcoming to all who enter. There are no children present, so the dog would get full attention! Alyson and Drew both have grown up with all different types of dogs of all ages and other animals their whole lives. I have witnessed each of them welcoming all pets with open arms and loving tones. Alyson and Drew have house sat my dogs in my home. My husband and I didn’t worry about our dogs during our time away. They were provided with daily exercise, lots of attention, food, water, treats, oral medication as needed, and most of all, a kind loving environment. I would not hesitate for them to watch my pets again.”

Elena S.
“This was my first time leaving my baby pug alone. I am so happy Elena took care of my baby girl, Cuca was so great and happy with Elena the whole time. Thank you l!!!”
