About: I grew up with 4 dogs. I fed, watered, bathed, walked and cared for a Maltese, Cocker Spaniel, Doberman Pinscher and a Queensland Heeler from the time I was 8 until I went off to college to U.C. Santa Cruz when I was 18. During my time at College I house and dog sat for my college mentor. She had a Black Lab. I would take care of her dog and house anywhere from a few days to a week at a time. I truly love animals and would be so excited to provide excellent care to any animal in my charge. I am an extremely active individual and love playing outside. I play rugby, soccer, basketball, futsol, football... pretty much anything with a ball. So I can more than keep up with any dog. I love to go for runs in nature and would appreciate the opportunity to bring a 4 legged companion along. I adore all animals and I treat my pets as if they were my children. You can trust that your pet will be given the attention, affection, exercise and care they need and want. Thank you for the opportunity!

“Leah is amazing! She took great care of my two kitties, and her check ins were always timely and super fun! You can tell she truly has a love and appreciation for all animals. If you book Leah you can rest assured that the best care will be given to your babies, I highly recommend her services. Thank you Leah! ?”

“This was the first time we used Rover. We chose Amanda to watch our cat, Moe. I can’t give high enough praise for the service we received. Each time Amanda visited we got an update and photos. It was obvious that she truly bonded with Moe! She took time to groom, pet, and let him sit on her lap- all above and beyond our expectations of feeding and giving him water. Amanda also took care of watering our garden which made our time away worry free. I highly recommend Amanda to lovingly take care of any pet and we will book any future pet sitting with her.”

About: Starting with 4-H as a child, I have always been around and caring for animals. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and medical conditions. I’m experienced in giving medication’s and vaccinations. I am currently an empty nester and available weekdays after 2:30 for walks and drop ins. I am available all day on Saturday and Sunday for walks, drop ins and other various needs. I live on acre that’s fully fenced with three separation, front, back and a side yard each with its own gate. I have a cat and two dogs

About: I’ve had pets my whole life! Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, chickens, horses and we even had a turtle! Even from a young age, I had a passion for taking care of animals. I’m an active person that loves hiking and neighborhood walks with my very energetic and goofy English Setter. I also have two senior adopted cats that get daily snuggles as well. My husband and I lost our beloved blue heeler a couple of years ago who was our adventure buddy that went everywhere we did! He loved people, but tolerated other dogs and now we have a very sweet and active English Setter that would love to have some friends to play with! I have a fully fenced, half acre property and regularly go on walks with my dog. I also have experience with giving insulin to one of my diabetic senior cats, twice a day. My pets mean everything to me and I’d treat anyone else’s like my own! I currently work part time and love to get out and explore, so I have plenty of time throughout the week and weekend to help with pet care! I have a fully fenced in half acre yard for dogs and a very active dog that would love to have a buddy to play with! I also go on neighborhood walks, feel comfortable with puppies and senior pets.

“I have 4 dogs and one cat. It is such a relief to find someone to care for my pets. We had Ariana drop-in daily to check on our cat when we were away for a week. My cat is usually very shy with strangers and I warned her she may hide the first few visits. But by the daily pictures Ariana texted it was obvious that she warmed up to her immediately. During our pre-care visit, Ariana dropped by our home and met my 4 dogs. She was able to manage their boisterous greeting with the talent of a dog whisperer. As we transition to spending more time in Central Oregon it is reassuring to find someone that can manage the challenges of Nordic breeds and trust we can count on her if we need help with their care.”

“Tamre was wonderful with my anxious, shy cat - got her to come out on the first visit! She was also very understanding and helpful with some scheduling snafus, cancelled flights from the storm, etc. Above and beyond! I would work with her again any time.”

About: Hi there!! My name is Melissa. I have cared for animals from the time I could walk. When I became an adult, I worked in veterinary medicine for 15+ years. First I was in reception, and then I had a long veterinary technician career. My genetic and progressive neurological disorder causes my hands to shake, so I’ve been away from veterinary work for 10 years. I’ve done pet sitting in Illinois, and have recently moved to beautiful Sunriver. I’m comfortable with injections, medications, and I’m very familiar with dog and cat care and health problems and concerns. I myself have 2 senior cats and two greyhounds. One cat is in end stage kidney failure and receives daily subq fluids and medications from me. Poop, pee, vomit, anal glands- nothing phases me. I have also done a lot of feral cat work. If you want a been there, done that pet sitter then that’s me. I’d love to meet your furry family members. I have very flexible part time commitments during the week. I make my own schedule, so I can schedule my commitments around your pet’s needs. I care for your pets exactly the way you want me to. I’m extremely cognizant of pet safety and having worked as a veterinary technician has made me very good at reading pet body language. I can tell if your pet is stressed, needing something, or up to shenanigans and adjust accordingly. 😂

“Jake is an older dog and as such is slowing down. When Allyson realized that Jake was in pain fetching, which he would do until he dropped, she changed the activity to be a little easier on him. She was in communication with me all the time and handled everything well.”

About: My life has been surrounded by animals. I grew up helping take care of a kennel full of hunting hounds, a barn with race horses and show ponies and a multitude of cats that kept everyone in order. From walks to play time, I'm happy to get outside and take care of your young pup or energetic dog. Or, if you need specific care for your elder or indoor pet, I'm happy to be the companion they need. I am a self-employed, small business owner who is transitioning into retirement. I'm looking forward to spending more time with those who have four legs rather than two :-) When caring for your pet in your home, we'll first meet at your residence so they can meet me and learn my presence in their environment. It allows us ask specific questions of each other and lets me take detailed notes on your animals personality, routine and specific needs. This helps us both determine if I'm a good fit for your fur family.

“Christiana did a fantastic job with her daily visits to our cat while we were away for a few days. She was always on time, kept everything super clean and played tirelessly with our cat to keep him entertained. Her daily summaries were great and she took tons of great photos every day! We had such a great peace of mind when we were away, thanks to Christiana! Highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've been professionally pet sitting for 2 years and doing it on the side for several more years. I am a CVT and used work in the ICU, so I know what to look out for on a day to day basis. I have a german shepherd and 2 cats at home who are my babies. I work Mon-Fri until 3:30pm but am able to do drop ins and walks afterwards and over the weekends. I love taking my own dog for hikes and exploring the area. I'm comfortable working with timid dogs and helping with training young dogs with my gentle touch. I have trained my own dog and he's doing great.
