I’m caring for your animals 24 hours a day and provide top rate above and beyond service to your animal. As such, I charge the rates I do as it’s a reflection of the quality of care I provide & allows me to still barely make a livable wage. When you do the hard math, I’m still making less than $20 an hr, it’s the passion not the the $$ driving this train!!!! - I have (4) pets of my own, whom I have raised since each were a kitten or pup; 17 yr old Cheetoh kitty named Thisbe (Queen Bee of the house!), 10 yr old Siberian Husky named Sibyl (adventurer/free spirit woman of the house), 3 year old Basset named Boone (best ‘Bass Hole’ round!), & 11 mo. old Great Bernard named Wynnefred (lil big baby girl!). - I am an outdoor enthusiast, and, yep, you guessed it, my dogs & cat are my adventure partners! Whether it's hiking, camping, backpacking, packrafting, running, walking, snowboarding, we do it all as family & are very active. - There are no bad pets, just bad owners. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've worked in the veterinary field since 2001 as a receptionist, veterinary technician, and front office manager, caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. Growing up, both my parents were animal control officers and our home fostered hundreds of animals, so I learned early on how to handle, comfort, and care for pets in many different situations. I work full-time Mondaythrough Thursday but am often flexible for visits before and after work. I'm off Friday through Sunday and available for pet sitting and pet care during those days. I will care for your pet in your home as if they were my own. I understand how important it it is for pets to stay in their familiar environment, so my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ve had pets growing up as well as currently, and have often watched dogs for friends and family over the years. I’m comfortable with different types of animals and have experience caring not only for dogs and cats, but also horses and chickens. About: I've had animals my entire life, and have glady cared for my friends' pets over the years. From golden retrievers needing exercise while thier dad is at work, to a high-energy puppy needing attention and a place to hang out, a cat with special diet needs and multiple visits per day, and more, I'm looking forward to learning about and with your pet. I am home this summer from a master's degree abroad and have no set commitments and a totally flexible schedule. I'd be happy to bring your dog on walks with my pup and forest jaunts, or take them on their own adventures. In my home, I have an older border collie who loves puppies, but is also able to handle any size and can keep to herself. I also have a small, fearless cat who loves meeting new pups. I typically do one big walk in the day with my pup, with plenty of play and outside time between. If feeding is a challenge, we separate animals during mealtimes to ensure everyone gets their meals. If coming to your home, I'm happy to visit 2-3 times per day as needed, depending on the animal and service (any more frequency can be discussed). I'm also happy to spend time in your home keeping your pet company. With cats especially, respecting boundaries but being nearby can help keep them from getting lonely.

About: I've worked with dogs of all ages both personally and professionally. From puppy to seniors. I've raised my own from 6 weeks old into adulthood so aware of training from a young age. Have worked with older dogs who need extra care and special instructions. I am active so can do plenty of walks or runs or whichever to accommodate your fur baby's energy. I appreciate when I have detailed instructions so I can take better care of an animal, really get to know them and not throw them off of their routine. Every one's happy and wins! I love doing photo sessions so you'll get plenty of photos and videos! If you would like for me to pet/house sit, I am very conscious and respectful of homes. It will be like I was never there! My house stays clean so yours will definitely be! I love all the animals! The skittish and grumpy ones get even more special care because its my mission to make them all my friends! I have never owned anything other than a dog, cat and fish but have taken care of exotic fishes and reptiles. Open to all animals! Also willing to discuss rates since I'm new to the area. My rates are priced at the care and quality that I know I give but would like to see what works for everyone out here! :) Going to school and mainly work from home so I would work around you and your babys schedules! My schedule will change at some point but I will update this to reflect that. Completely open to dates if Im not booked and even if I am, I would try to help with visitation instead. I like to run when my knee allows, but for sure walks or no walks, if thats what your doggo needs. They'll be along side either way! I don't own any pets right now so I can fully focus on your babies! If you prefer your baby to have company, I can always find them a friend to join our party.I normally prefer to start with a meet and greet so all parties are comfortable. Open to any requests and normally ask for detailed instructions. Completely comfortable with having/walking multiple animals at once.The more the merrier!
