I've worked in the veterinary field since 2001 as a receptionist, veterinary technician, and front office manager, caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. “Christy was such a wonderful caretaker of our kitten! While we felt uncomfortable needing to board a young kitty, Christy was a tremendous relief and comfort while we were away. We received several videos a day, thorough information about how our kitty was doing and even helped us learn some new behaviors and interests our kitty was exhibiting. Sometimes I thought my wife was spending too much time messaging with Christy and not focusing on the trip (lol!), but Christy was more than generous with her time and was very patient throughout. Before our trip, Christy made herself available to meet us and our kitty at the park and it really helped ease our pre-travel anxiety! Once we returned for pickup, Christy packed all of our kitty’s things (which was a ton, sorry, Christy!) and sent her home with some toys that out kitty enjoyed playing with! About: I’ve always had a pet as a member of my family. Cats and dogs. My current love is a super chill (yes, there is such a thing!) lab. Every walk is a mini training adventure. My lab Riley will get along with your pup, it’s just his nature. I provide enrichment during the day to keep boredom away. If I visit your cats, I know they might not visit me! I’ll just sit on the floor and wait for them to come out from under the bed! I’m fortunate to be able to adjust my retiree schedule every day. I’m flexible to your particular pet’s needs and schedule. It depends on the type of service, in my home or in yours. I have a completely fenced, (tall too) back yard. I don’t leave my pup unattended while he’s out. We leash walk mornings, afternoon and evenings. I have numerous sniffing loops I use as I live along the canal.

About: I have two pets of my own, a 6-year-old tabie cat named Chip and a 3-year-old Golden Doodle named Waffles. I've had them both since babies so I'm very familiar with the different stages of growth. We're an active family so I prioritize lots of potty and play breaks during the day while I work from home. Dexter is 13 needs a fair amount of care and I was worried about leaving him in a new space. This gave me the confidence of know that Dexter was in safe hands. Lisa and Dave are not only attentive but also respectful of Dexter’s needs. They took the time to get to know him and his communication style, kept their own dogs on leashes while we did a meet and greet and asked smart questions if anything was unclear. Their dogs, Fezzi and Scout are a delight. Like Lisa and Dave, they are kind, respectful and easy to get along with. Dexter doesn’t always like other dogs and he got along with theirs. About: I have my own dog, got him at 12 weeks he is 7 now. I also grew up with dogs as a kid to adulthood. My dog has a lot of health problems so I know a bit when it comes to a sensitive dogs or ones that needs things done a certain way because of a condition. It really depends on the day, but mostly I could so daily or weekly. I’m dealing with some health stuff and my dog has too. So I’m currently working on those but have plenty of time most days to do something like this. I have a fenced in yard for my dog, when I was in college one house I did it so he was constantly on a leash outside, another house I was in had fences but had to patch them up and make sure he couldn’t get out. I also created my dog at night he loves his crate. During the day when he is alone he has most of the house free to roam, but I will put down potty pads just in case. If clients are okay with there dog out or crated I’m for both.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since elementary school taking care of two family dogs with very high energy! Now a work from home dog dad, I can provide plenty of attention to your furry friends. Including morning, lunch time, and evening walks to get the zoomies out, play tug of war, or some simple fetch. I work from home and tend to have very limited scheduled meetings. This allows me to be flexible with my week day schedule as I’m available 8am and on to take care and play with your dogs. Weekends I am typically busy with an outdoors adventure, but am always open to adding a furry friend to join my pup on outings. I have a completely fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around and get the zoomies out. I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a great 20-30 minute walking loop and quick access to the Deschutes river if your dog loves the water.
