“Leah housesat our 2 dogs over holiday break and was a real trooper with a bunch of sloppy weather conditions to make sure that our pups got out for two walks a day, since they need regular exercise. We got great updates while we were gone and came home to two happy pups.”

“We had such a great experience with Taunya! She gave us updates on our cat Margaret and gave her a lot of attention and love. Margaret can be shy around new people and Taunya had her snuggled on her lap on the first day. Thanks Taunya!”

“We booked Layne to spend three days with our two pups while we were staying in Sunriver and skiing at Mt. Bachelor. He was terrific with our dogs, prompt in replying to messages, and flexible as our plans were up in the air due to weather. We enthusiastically give him five stars.”

“Evan was absolutely amazing. My dog Bosco had such a great time with Evan while we were gone. Evan sent pictures and kept us updated about how things were going. This was our first time using a dog/house sitter and we will be using Evan again in the future.”

“It is always a pleasure to have Kaili watch our pups. I fully trust her to take care of them and also take care of our house when she stays. I always come back to my dogs alive and well (lol) and the house being extremely clean and neat!”

About: I've had animals my entire life, and have glady cared for my friends' pets over the years. From golden retrievers needing exercise while thier dad is at work, to a high-energy puppy needing attention and a place to hang out, a cat with special diet needs and multiple visits per day, and more, I'm looking forward to learning about and with your pet. I am home this summer from a master's degree abroad and have no set commitments and a totally flexible schedule. I'd be happy to bring your dog on walks with my pup and forest jaunts, or take them on their own adventures. In my home, I have an older border collie who loves puppies, but is also able to handle any size and can keep to herself. I also have a small, fearless cat who loves meeting new pups. I typically do one big walk in the day with my pup, with plenty of play and outside time between. If feeding is a challenge, we separate animals during mealtimes to ensure everyone gets their meals. If coming to your home, I'm happy to visit 2-3 times per day as needed, depending on the animal and service (any more frequency can be discussed). I'm also happy to spend time in your home keeping your pet company. With cats especially, respecting boundaries but being nearby can help keep them from getting lonely.
“Karina was great. Very communicative, offered a meet-and-greet before booking the stay, and sent lot's of images and videos throughout the stay. She went above and beyond in sending overviews of her walks and extra videos. Came home to a happy and healthy pup, clean house, and would definitely use her again.”

“Lauren was so amazing! She stayed at our house for a week with our two dogs while we were out of the country. We’ve never felt so good about being away from our pups. Lauren sent so many amazing updates and photos through the day. Cannot recommend Lauren enough!”

“Chris stayed at our house watching our three large dogs while we were in Thailand. Chris bonded with our pups almost immediately. Took them on walks 2x per day. He sent regular daily updates, photos and videos. We plan on using again in the future.”

“Caroline was an amazing sitter for our lab. She was great with her and sent us daily updates with photos. She took our dog on walks and hikes and made sure she got plenty of exercise while we were away. Our house was super clean when we got home and we had a happy pup waiting for us. Highly reccomend Caroline!”

About: Hi my name is Eden and I’ve recently moved to Bend! I’m excited to meet your pup and take care of them. I grew up with pets but move around now and don’t have any of my own, so I’m excited to spread the love and help take care of yours! I’m very calm and patient, so I work well with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and special needs. I love being active so I’m happy to take them on long walks or play with them. I will make sure your dog receives the attention, care, and affection they need! I know choosing someone to care for your fur baby is hard, so I treat every pet in my car as one of my own. Feel free to message me and see if we’re a good fit! I’m very communicative and flexible, so I prioritize your pet(s) needs in my schedule when I care for them. Right now I’m currently available weekdays for boarding (in your home), dog walks, and drop ins. As my availability changes I will update my schedule. I am very respectful and responsible as a caretaker, as well as being clean and orderly of your space. Might daytime job is working with kids so I know how to be fun and firm with your furry children too :) I’m there to spend quality time with your pet(s) so you can trust they’re in good hands and enjoy your time away as best you can!
“Anna took great care of my pup. She was always on time, responded quickly, and sent me lots of pictures while she was house sitting so I knew that everything was ok. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I am an experienced pet and house sitter. It was my first job as a kid and I continue to love it and take excellent care of your pets! I’m moving from Montana and hoping to line up some dog sitting gigs as I settle in to a new city. I travel a lot and am hoping to fill my time at home with dog sitting. I love dogs and am attentive to their needs. Whether it’s going on long walks or playing in the back yard, they will get my full attention.
“Christy was a great communicator which was awesome especially when traveling 14 hours away. Gave my fiance and I peace of mind while we were away from our baby for the first time with a stranger. This was our first time using rover and with a reactive dog the "meet and greet" element was a must! Very glad we went with Christy she'll have your dogs best interest at heart.”

About: Dogs: - I've owned 14 dogs, all different breeds. Mainly over 40 lbs but a few small breeds too - I've gone through formal, professional dog training with 8 dogs. Including puppy training and agility courses. Since then, I've picked up training dogs as a hobby for friends and family. - Great with puppies and senior dogs alike Cats: - I've owned 7 cats - no formal cat training, but love to play and cuddle them :) I work remotely, and can easily do so from your home too. I have an 8 year old, 40lb, active mixed breed dog myself. We go for walks in the morning and the dog park right after work around 3p. My work schedule is really flexible so dedicated attention to your animals is something I can easily accommodate to. Since I'm a single dog mom, my dog Ziya will be coming with on our visits. I can assure you she gets along with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. She knows when it's acceptable to play and when another dog just wants space. She has been formally trained and has been exposed to fostering and dog/cat sitting her whole life. Also, grew up with chickens and doesn't pay them any attention I have house sat at many friends and families homes and understand that different pets have different routines. Since my work schedule is flexible, I can easily accommodate to fit yours.
Sunriver pet parents share their Rover experiences
Allyson was a fantastic sitter for my senior dog. She came over and walked my dog two different times to get to know her before her stay, and asked lots of great questions to make sure she could give my dog the right care. She was the perfect level of communicative, sharing photos and updates to keep my mind at ease while I was away. My dog has specific food and medication instructions which she had no problem with, and she left my house in great condition after her stay. I would love to book with her again for my future trips!

Evan was AMAZING!! He looked after our pups like they were his own! He even brought them toys to play with! We received constant (and funny!) updates and not once did we worry for an entire week while we were gone. One of our pups needs eye drops and Evan was on top of that without issue. The house was spotless when we got home, you wouldn't have known anyone had stayed there. We will 10000% be using Evan again in the future! Thank you so much Evan for taking such wonderful care of our girls! We appreciate you! <3

This was Kim’s second time staying with Buddy while we were away and she has been totally reliable and a great companion for Buddy in our absence. Kim sent daily reports and pics, took him for long walks and the house looked exactly the same when we returned. We highly recommend Kim and Ossie and will definitely hire them again.
