“Leah has been a dream for us. She is so easy to communicate with. My pup is a bit anxious but Leah calms him down. She walks him, plays with him and even sends me photos of him.”

“Taunya is very thoughtful and caring. She stayed with our three cats and elderly dog for four days. Everyone was happy and healthy when we returned. The house looked great too.”

About: I am an experienced pet and house sitter. It was my first job as a kid and I continue to love it and take excellent care of your pets! I’m moving from Montana and hoping to line up some dog sitting gigs as I settle in to a new city. I travel a lot and am hoping to fill my time at home with dog sitting. I love dogs and am attentive to their needs. Whether it’s going on long walks or playing in the back yard, they will get my full attention.

About: I've had a love for animals my whole life & have spent the last 5 years working as a dog groomer. During that time I've cared for dogs ranging from energetic puppies to seniors who need a little extra patience & support. I'm Pet First Aid & CPR certified. I've worked with puppers who have special needs, including allergies, mobility challenges, heart murmurs, brachycephalic breeds, & other health concerns. I've been trained on critical & non critical signs of stress, so I know when things are concerning & always keep pet parents informed. I'm also comfortable handing nervous, reactive, & challenging dogs. I currently have full availability. Let me spoil your pups by going for long hikes, playing ball in the yard & with extra cuddle time. Im happy to stay with you pup for the week, stay overnight, or just drop in! I like to make sure you're pet gets specialized care. Let me know their favorite treats & toys so. I want their routine to be intact so Im happy to follow meal routines, walks & more.
“Alexandria took very good care of our dog Steve. It was our first time hiring someone to take care of him so I was a little hesitant, but she was so nice and sweet with him during our initial visit and I know Steve was in good care with her. She immediately sent a picture showing Steve snuggling which made me very happy knowing he was in good hands.”

“Would highly recommend Michael! His daily updates and pictures gave us peace of mind during our trip. He was patient with our rambunctious 7 month old boxer puppy and even got him crate trained for us! We will definitely use him again going forward.”

“Chris stayed at our house watching our three large dogs while we were in Thailand. Chris bonded with our pups almost immediately. Took them on walks 2x per day. He sent regular daily updates, photos and videos. We plan on using again in the future.”

About: My name is Paris, I am a histology technician who works full time looking for some extra money. I love animals and would love to help care for them. I have a toddler now and am unable to do overnights. I can do morning and evening check ins but am unable to sleep over at homes now. I work full time, but am available most afternoons and have Saturday-Monday off. I am flexible and things change day to day so I may have some extra availability I have around an acre that is fenced in, my 4 dogs come and go Through the dog door and enjoy The free roaming throughout the property.
“Caroline was an amazing sitter for our lab. She was great with her and sent us daily updates with photos. She took our dog on walks and hikes and made sure she got plenty of exercise while we were away. Our house was super clean when we got home and we had a happy pup waiting for us. Highly reccomend Caroline!”

About: I love animals! I've been a petsitter since my teens and twenties! I've had my own very small business since 1995. I have a degree in Zoology and biology and worked as a Vet assistant when I was younger. I have had my own senior cats before and helped my mother with my childhood older dogs. I know how to give meds, make food to specifications, exercise, play with, and cuddle pets. All animals adore me. I'm currently taking reservations for petsitting overnights in the Sunriver and Bend area to be able to spend more time with family in friends in that area. I am a mobile massage therapist in addition to a pet sitter so I plan on finding clients in the area while I'm there. I will be able to hang out a lot, do walks, play, rest, be their buddy while your family is away. At the very least I will do all the feedings and daily care on days where I may work a little or be seeing my friends. I will be caring for pets in your home and taking care of your home. I will treat your place as my home base while I'm there. I will spend as much time with your pets as I can in addition to the daily requests for walks and playing. I will feed them as requested, keep an eye on and refill water, watch for any signs of ill health, and will give so many cuddles.
“Lauren was absolutely incredible with our two dogs (one of them being a 5 month old puppy). She sent updates and pictures every day so I always knew what was going on while we were away. She cared for our dogs and our home with so much respect. It is clear she is very educated and confident with animals, and I will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you again, Lauren! :)”
“Sherry was a fantastic house and dog sitter. She communicated clearly and consistently throughout the stay, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. We especially appreciated the daily photo updates—seeing our dogs happy and relaxed made it much easier to be gone. Our home was well cared for, and the dogs were clearly comfortable and well looked after. We would absolutely recommend Sherry to others and would be happy to book with her again in the future.”

About: • Caring for pets and homes since I was 15 (friends, family, and repeat clients) • Experienced with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities • Comfortable caring for senior pets and administering medications • Patient with shy, anxious, or nervous pets—I let them warm up at their own pace, and somehow the shy cats usually decide we're friends. • Happy to provide walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, depending on what your pet enjoys • Proud cat parent to three cats, so I fully understand that we exist to serve Their Royal Highnesses • No breed restrictions—every dog deserves love, belly rubs, and good care • Respectful, clean, and reliable while staying in your home; happy to bring in mail, water plants, and help keep everything just as you left it • I know routines matter, so I do my best to keep your pets comfortable by sticking to their normal schedule as closely as possible I genuinely love getting to know each pet's unique personality. My goal is simple: for you to come home to happy pets, a well-cared-for home, and complete peace of mind while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. That flexibility allows me to be present throughout the day and plan my schedule around your pet's needs instead of the other way around. I'm available for overnight stays and genuinely enjoy spending time with the pets I'm caring for. Whether it's morning walks, afternoon play sessions, sticking to medication schedules, or simply providing companionship, I love making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Because I already spend much of my day at home, I don't like leaving pets alone for long periods whenever I can avoid it. My goal is to give them plenty of attention, keep their routine consistent, and make your time away as stress-free as possible for both of you. I believe every pet deserves individualized care because no two animals are exactly alike. Before each booking, I take the time to learn your pet's routine, personality, favorite activities, medical needs, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I'm experienced caring for puppies, senior pets, multi-pet households, and administering medications. I'm also happy to care for cats, dogs, fish, chickens, and other small livestock or farm animals, including feeding horses and goats. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would my own. I'll carefully follow your instructions, keep your pets on their normal routine, double-check doors and gates, and keep you updated with messages and photos so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. Whether your pet wants to play nonstop, explore on a walk, nap on the couch, or quietly observe me from across the room, I'm happy to meet them where they are and earn their trust at their own pace.
“Cassandra did an outstanding job with our dog while we were on vacation. She provided pictures showing how comfortable and cared for our dog was while we were gone. Both my husband and I also noticed that our dog was calm and happy when we returned. We also agreed that our dog’s behavior had changed for the better! I definitely recommend Cassandra and we’ll use her again!”

“Ian was marvelous taking care of our big baby! We were able to relax on our trip knowing Walter was safe at home being well take care of! Ian is professional, punctual, caring, clean, and kind!”

“Selfishly hate to leave a good review in case Brian isn’t available for us next time, but he went above and beyond. Our pets were so well cared for, he sent updates and pictures of them out and about, and was proactive with issues that came up on our property. We’re grateful we found the perfect person”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Three Rivers
Leah is amazing. We had plans For the weekend and this was the first time we used Leah. I have two dogs, one is 17 months old and the other is almost 12 years old, who is a diabetic. Leah was a champ, she was able to give my older dog his insulin shots and keep my 17-month-old dog occupied with walks. I would definitely use her again. She is very professional and her correspondence to me was perfect. She sent pictures and updates daily.

Taunya was able to watch our two dogs on short notice, and she provided excellent care throughout their stay. She kept us updated with frequent photos, which we really appreciated, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and thoughtful dog sitter.

Evan is truly the best dog sitter I have ever had!!!!! He is so courteous, conscientious, considerate, passionate, kind, and he goes above and beyond in every single way to make sure your dogs are loved by him like they are loved by you! He makes sure everyone involved human and animal is comfortable, content, and happy! He exceeded all of my expectations, and I cannot recommend him enough!!!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Three Rivers walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Three Rivers maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Three Rivers choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Three Rivers. On Rover:
- 99% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
