About: Cats have always had a special place in my heart, and I've shared my home with them for most of my life. I'm currently the very proud staff member (let's be honest) to three wonderful cats, so I understand that every cat has their own unique personality, routine, and preferences. I'm comfortable caring for friendly, shy, senior, or independent cats and always let them set the pace. Some want to play, some want cuddles, and some simply appreciate a respectful human who knows their boundaries—and I'm happy to be all of the above. I'm experienced with: • Feeding and fresh water • Litter box cleaning • Playtime and enrichment • Administering medications • Following special routines or diets • Sending regular updates and photos while you're away (though I can't promise your cat won't pretend they don't know me the moment you get home) Whether your cat greets me at the door or decides to observe me from across the room for two days before becoming my supervisor, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for until you're home again.

“Beatriz was amazing with my shy, older dog. It was clear from the first drop in that she took the time to let my dog acclimate, and by visit 2 they were playing fetch in the yard. Also very professional with communication and punctual. Definitely would recommend!”

About: I’ve learned that cats definitely have their own opinions about things—and sometimes, their opinion is that you are not their friend yet! I have extensive experience working with fearful and anxious cats in a veterinary setting, in the field as an Animal Control Officer, and in the shelter environment. Over the years, I’ve learned that many cats simply need a little extra time, patience, and understanding to feel comfortable. One of my favorite things to do is simply sit with them and let them know I’m there. No pressure, no forced cuddles, and definitely no chasing! I let them come out, check me out, and decide when they’re ready to say hello. I believe cats do things on their own schedule, and I’m perfectly happy to wait for that moment when they decide, “Okay… I guess you’re alright.” There’s nothing better than earning the trust of a cat who just needed a little patience and someone willing to wait for them.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up surrounded by pets. I spent many years going to dog shows and caring for animals including horses, cats, hamsters, doves, turtles, fish, and of course dogs. I had my sweet cat for twenty years before she passed and I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets. I treat every animal like family and focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your cat!
About: I am very active and will walk dogs, play fetch, and can take them on runs. If needed, I will wash the dogs after activities to ensure everything will stay clean in the home. I am organized and will keep the dogs on schedule for meals and potty breaks. My father bred labs for my entire life and my experience with taking care of animals goes way back to my childhood! I work remote, and have a pretty flexible schedule. That being said, I can tend to the dogs as need be and bring them on walks as well. I grew up with lots of different types of dogs from toy yorkie to shepherds and I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs.

“Jake is an older dog and as such is slowing down. When Allyson realized that Jake was in pain fetching, which he would do until he dropped, she changed the activity to be a little easier on him. She was in communication with me all the time and handled everything well.”

About: Hi there!! My name is Melissa. I have cared for animals from the time I could walk. When I became an adult, I worked in veterinary medicine for 15+ years. First I was in reception, and then I had a long veterinary technician career. My genetic and progressive neurological disorder causes my hands to shake, so I’ve had to step away from technical work. I’m currently working at Sunriver Vet Clinic as a receptionist 3 days a week. I’ve done pet sitting in Illinois, and have recently moved to beautiful Sunriver. I’m comfortable with injections, medications, and I’m very familiar with dog and cat care and health problems and concerns. I myself have an 18 year old kitty in mid stage kidney failure and two greyhounds. Poop, pee, vomit, anal glands- nothing phases me. I have also done a lot of feral cat work. If you want a been there, done that pet sitter then that’s me. I’d love to meet your furry family members. I have very flexible part time commitments during the week. I make my own schedule, so I can schedule my commitments around your pet’s needs. I care for your pets exactly the way you want me to. I’m extremely cognizant of pet safety and having worked as a veterinary technician has made me very good at reading pet body language. I can tell if your pet is stressed, needing something, or up to shenanigans and adjust accordingly. 😂

Here's a little bit 'About Me': - First and foremost, I have been training pets for over 20 years! - Secondly, I charge the rates I do as I do this professionally and take my job very seriously. I’m caring for your animals 24 hours a day and provide top rate above and beyond service to your animal. As such, I charge the rates I do as it’s a reflection of the quality of care I provide & allows me to still barely make a livable wage. When you do the hard math, I’m still making less than $20 an hr, it’s the passion not the the $$ driving this train!!!! - I have (4) pets of my own, whom I have raised since each were a kitten or pup; 17 yr old Cheetoh kitty named Thisbe (Queen Bee of the house!), 10 yr old Siberian Husky named Sibyl (adventurer/free spirit woman of the house), 3 year old Basset named Boone (best ‘Bass Hole’ round!), & 11 mo. old Great Bernard named Wynnefred (lil big baby girl!). - I am an outdoor enthusiast, and, yep, you guessed it, my dogs & cat are my adventure partners! Whether it's hiking, camping, backpacking, packrafting, running, walking, snowboarding, we do it all as family & are very active. - There are no bad pets, just bad owners. I know, hold it against me, if you would like! - If there are any additional questions or information you would like to know about me, inquire within . . . Pets are the life and soul in about everything I do! I have goals to start several businesses re pet care and/or pet related. All animals welcome! I have a dog run and dog friendly house with (4) friends to keep your fur baby(ies) company! I am flexible in my schedule and can work with all breeds’ needs.

“Christina was a wonderful host. She communicated clearly and consistently, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our slightly anxious Cavalier felt completely at home with her—she took such loving care of him. By the end of the week, he and her dog were even snuggling. We’re so grateful to have found a caring, active home where he was truly comfortable and happy.”

“Alex took a last-minute booking for Max when I really needed him in a pinch and took excellent care of my pup as usual. He provides a fun, safe and jovial environment and you can tell he really loves the dogs that are in his care.”

“Absolute top notch care! Laura was exactly who I’d hoped I’d find to care for my fur baby! Lots of pics, walks, great questions about his care and behavior. I whole heartedly recommend her and will definitely have her take care of Oso on the next adventure!”

“I felt SO confident that my doggos were well loved, exercised, and cared for while we were gone for nearly two weeks. They’re happy to be home but they seem like they had their own vacation and are now ready to catch up on sleep and laundry. Ok, sleep. I’ve found my go-to anytime we travel.”

“Ashleigh did an amazing job of taking care of our 14 year old aging dog with all of her meds. Lucky got lots of love, attention, and fresh eggs. We look forward to using Ashleigh’s services again soon.”

“Viki and her husband watched my Bernedoodle Theo while I was out of town for a few days. They were kind to set up a meet and greet beforehand to ensure my dog felt comfortable with them, their dog and their space. They took good care of him while I was away!”

“Alexis is a pro! We’ve had many rough experiences with sitters over the years, so it was such a relief to meet someone with true experience and confidence in creating a safe and loving environment for our pup. Her and her husband went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make sure we could be away worry free. Her pups are super sweet and playful, their home is amazing, and they are genuinely wonderful people - you want your dog to stay with them!!!”

“Luna Moo had an amazing time with Tania and her family! Despite the height/weight difference, Luna and the family frenchie Rosie were quick to become friends. We would absolutely rebook if we ever come back to Bend! Thank you ?”

“Aubin is a wonderful sitter! She communicated well, sent pictures, and gave our dog lots of love and attention. She even went out of her way to do a special favor for us which made our lives so much easier when returning from our trip.”

“Our family booked a last minute camping trip and Alyssa was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and provided daily updates about our 2 dogs. She went above and beyond giving our dogs exercise (one who is very active) and lots of snuggles and love in the evening. I would highly recommend her to watch your pets and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

“We felt completely at ease leaving our Gracie with Aly (and Mike). Gracie had a flare-up of her colitis the day before we left town, and Aly was totally unfazed by this. She sent many pics and comments each day which was greatly appreciated. Gracie told us she cannot wait to go back to see Aly.”
“We could not have asked for a better dog sitter! Nicole and her family welcomed our three dogs with short notice for memorial weekend along with two other family’s dogs resulting in a total of six dogs in their house. Upon arrival, Nicole went above and beyond unloading the dogs, crates, food, etc. out of my car as I tended to my crying 3 month old baby. It was such a relief. Our dogs had a blast playing with their new buddies and never missed a chance for lovins from Nicole’s two daughters. We received updates including pictures every day so we were at ease knowing our pups were well taken care of. When Nicole found out we had to do an abundance of driving with our 3 baby the day we were due back to pick up our dogs, she even offered to drop our dogs off at our house in Bend to ease our stress and save our evening! We could not have been more thankful! We will definitely book with her and her fam again!”
