“This was our first time having April watch our two Great Danes, and I have already booked her for the next trip! It was obvious when we got home how much love our dogs had received, and she was super professional with the prompt visits, communication, and updates. She was even so thoughtful to print out some of the cutest pictures she took of them while we were gone. I highly recommend having April take care of your babies!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and genuinely love spending time with them. During college, I frequently cared for dogs while their owners were away, providing walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention to make sure they felt comfortable and happy. With a flexible summer schedule, I’m available most days and times, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Whether you need a last-minute walk or planned pet care, I’d be happy to help. I treat every pet as if they were my own, following your care instructions closely and making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. You can count on me to be dependable, communicative, and committed to providing the best care possible.
About: All my life my family has had dogs. I am well equipment to care for small dogs, large dogs, old calm dogs, and young playful puppies. I’m open to any and all dogs! I’m a college student with a part time job, so I’m mainly only available on weekends. My schedule can vary though so don’t be afraid to reach out and ask! I am very thorough with instructions, so any information you give me about your dog will be followed to a tee. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, letting your dogs out, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel loved while you’re away!

“Mariah was wonderful with our fur family. She spent time with everyone and sent pictures of happy pups/cats to me daily. I could tell the dogs were happy since they kept bringing her gifts of everything they found on the floor. Even the cats who don't trust most people came out of hiding for her. I will definitely ask Mariah to sit again.”
“This was our first time using Rover but also having someone other then a family member watch our 2 dachshunds. They can be picky on who they let into there circle and they had no issue warming up to Kelly right away! We were very nervous but Kelly was so calm and made us at ease while we were out of town. I can’t not say enough good things about her! I wish I could explain how much a relief we got knowing our babies were comfortable with Kelly and were taking such good care of! (Our dachshunds are our everything!) We will 1000000% be using Kelly in the future! She was amazing!!!!!”

“Elizabeth was great! I loved her notes and pictures! She was very communicative and always let me know when she was coming over! I would absolutely book with her again!”

About: I work well with dogs of all ages as I have owned many dogs in my life from French bulldogs to mastiffs. I would love to take care of your dog. I work full time with Stafford County Schools Transportation department with the hours of 6-9:30 and 1-5. I’m available middays and evenings to take care of your dog. I would love to stop by your house and take care of your fur baby whether it’s walking or just letting out to use the bathroom.
“Katie was very attentive, helpful, and took the absolute best care of our cats. She was very accommodating and asked any questions or concerns she may have which we really appreciated. We felt confident that our babies were well taken care of while we were gone. Would definitely recommend booking her.”

“Thank you so much for watching JJ. I had a much better trip away from her knowing she was being so well taken care of. The communication was spot on and exactly what I needed to know. Thanks so much. I will definitely reach out to you for my next trip or if I need anything else. Thank you again. Great job!”

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Krysalyn. She was so sweet and flexible with my schedule. I recently took a business trip and Krysalyn kept me updated while taking care of my dog, so I felt at ease. When I got home, I could tell my dog Tatum had a great time with her. She was even nice enough to check in on my roommates cat who is older and recently started having some medical issues. I would HIGHY recommend Krysalyn in the future and look forward to using her in the future. Thank you Krysalyn!!!!!”

“I am very grateful to have found Carolyn to take care of my boy, Briscoe. He is a smart, high energy dog and Carolyn took such good care of him. She sent me pictures and videos of each visit and kept me updated on all the fun they had playing games and fetch together. I am sure Briscoe was a little disappointed when it was me walking through the door when I got home instead of Carolyn coming to play with him.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
