“Once again Cori made me feel really good about leaving my pups in her care. She’s a doll to work with. As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”

It’s like a doggie nirvana with acres of land for your furry family to run and play and a cozy indoor rest and sleep area. About: I have had pets all my life. Right now I have a rescue dog from China and another dog I just adopted from the culpeper shelter! I have 2 cats as well. One of my cats is a tripod therefore needs extra attention. The other cat is an orange boy so you know he’s a handful. I am in between jobs so I have plenty of time watch your pup! My husband also works from home 2 days a week. NO CHILDREN in the home. I have a very large quiet yard to let your dog out to play (fenced in) . I have room to set up crates and food stations. Must be friendly towards other dogs and ok with being crated during bedtime.

About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

About: I've had dogs for 17 years. I love all pets! I treat dog sitting dogs as if they are my own. I have 1 dog of my own who loves when we have visitors. I have had many repeat customers, and I miss them when they leave. I work from home, have a doggie door and a fenced in yard. I take the dogs out regularly for play and potty breaks. The dogs will never be left alone. I can crate a dog if need be and have my own crate. I have 1 dog who is very much submissive. I have a 3 level house so if dogs need to be separated that is not an issue.
About: I grew up in a house full of animals (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish) and loved it. Less than a year after moving out to attend college I got my own puppy (Havanese). 12 years later I found myself getting a second dog after my parents and a sibling adopted her other 2 sisters (English Cream Golden Retriever puppies). We dogsit for them, and of course they come to family get-togethers, so we're used to having extra dogs in our house! In 2025 we said goodbye to our first dog, and a few months later welcomed home our foster-to-adopt puppy (chihuahua-beagle mix). The kids love playing and cuddling with dogs and understand when they need space. My full-time job offers flexibility in my schedule allowing me to work from home 3x/week. I work early hours so that I can have more time available in the afternoons & evenings to spend with family/pets. About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

I’ve also taken care of canines with different medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc). My eldest pup currently has stage 2 kidney diseases I’m a stay at home mom. He comes home so tired - from both the outdoor time and the social interactions, I am sure. I trust Julie completely with his care and will continue to use her for our dog sitting needs as long as she will have us.”

“Once again Cori made me feel really good about leaving my pups in her care. She’s a doll to work with. As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”
“Heather and her husband Jim own and operate Gigi’s Funny Farm in Catlett and are loving, caring sitters. It’s like a doggie nirvana with acres of land for your furry family to run and play and a cozy indoor rest and sleep area. I was apprehensive to leave my newly adopted pup, Josie anywhere because of her issues. Let’s just say Josie is “special” lol. Heather handled her problem behaviors beautifully. She has tons of experience and handled my problem child ha, ha with love and care. When we picked her up, she didn’t want to leave 😆. I wholeheartedly recommend you leave your furry family with her 💕”

She has transformed her home into a dog’s luxury resort, complete with total attentiveness, ultimate amenities, and activities that a dog could only dream of. In addition to all of that, her communications are fantastic and Cash is always so excited to arrive at Ms. Leslie’s and never ready to leave. I’ve never had such peace of mind leaving Cash if/when I have to be out of town.”
“She was awesome and I didn’t worry about Simon while we were away. It was the first time we left him so at first I was very nervous. Simon had separation anxiety during his stay and she was patient and understanding. She kept us updated on how he was doing throughout his stay with texts and pictures. Will definitely be booking her again for any future trips without hesitation.”

“Christie was great - kept us informed, sent us videos and took plenty of time to get to know our doodle puppy and gave her plenty of exercise and love. Also, when a massive rainstorm hit just before pickup, she gave us some extra time to get which was greatly appreciated. She is caring and offered suggestions about diet and treats and worked with her on her first nite getting to sleep in a strange place. Her large doodle ended up being a great play buddy outside. We will use her again for sure.”
