I’m available to pet sit at your home including day time pet sitting, overnights, or just drop ins. I will follow your pets feeding & walking schedules along with any special instructions or needs your pet may have. I will care for your pets as if they we own fur babies
About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals. My dog Holly is mostly an inside dog but always has access to fenced backyard through doggie door. The same would apply for any dogs I care for.
“Ria is the best! The reports and photos she sends us give us peace of mind that our boys are safe and happy. They always welcome her and spend time engaging with her while she is here, sure signs from cats that they are happy.”

“Madison was wonderful once again! This was our second time booking with her and we felt totally at ease knowing our pets were in such good hands. She was reliable, communicative, and so sweet with the animals. We really appreciated the updates and the extra care she took while we were away. Came home to happy pets and everything in great shape. Would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

About: For the last two decades, I have dedicated myself to house sitting and pet care for those closest to me. I’ve handled everything from high-energy pups to gentle giants and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and TLC. Because I’ve worked with dogs of all different sizes and temperaments, I know how to read their body language, respect their routines, and give them exactly what they need to feel at ease. I'm currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I'm available for day or overnights during the week and most weekends. I am very loving and hands on type with pets. We can play in the yard if it's fenced and/or go for walks. I am comfortable to administer medication if needed, as I have cared for many senior foster and my own pets.
About: I taken care when I was very young even taking care of ill/sick animals. I'll nurse them back to health when vets couldn't do it. I bottle feed and take them to the restroom when they are babies. I been taking care since 10 years old. I'm very open with my schedule and love to be around animals. I work from home working as a editor and have lots of free time. I have a gate area for all animals. I always have them on a leash and make sure we walk in the morning or evening. It's too hot for their paws if you have booties for them even great. Always have water on me and poop bags. I never have anything laying around for them to eat or play with. I'm always outside with them when need to go potty and play.
“Tara was great! She has clear, timely communication and really showed care for our animals. She showed great resourcefulness when a rattlesnake blocked her path to the house, too! I would definitely use her again.”

About: I have a 7 year old ‘puppy’ Jaxon who is my reason for loving dogs so much. I often pet sit for my family for their 2 labs, and my sister in law’s beagle. It’s important to me as a dog mom & travel lover that my own dog feels at home with whomever he stays with when I travel & I want to offer you that same peace of mind and comfort. I am attentive to each dog’s needs and make sure that they receive enough exercise and play time so that they are happy and occupied. As they say, a good dog is a tired dog! I’ll make sure your pupp receives all the exercise and attention they need. :) I currently make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for your pupps. I can be available for multiple drop-ins, for walks, structured play time & potty breaks. I offer drop-in visits. I am happy to stop by and walk your dog multiple times a day, depending on their needs and energy level. I’m used to my high energy dog, who needs lots of exercise and play - he loves fetch. I am willing to care for your dog as if they are my own, making sure they get all the attention & love they need :)

About: I've always had friends with dogs and have done house and dog sitting for many years without any issues. I also have a saint Bernard, Banks! I'm currently looking for a new job after I was laid off from my former job. I have a lot of time on my hands currently so I have open availability. I take my doggo out on walks every day! We're also lazy from time to time but we're usually more active. I'm very engaged with my dog as he can be very energetic so I can definitely handle bigger dogs with a lot of energy.

“Nicole was great! On-time, was very careful to follow feeding instructions, and extremely responsive to any questions or tweaks to instructions. She is a friendly and caring person who will take great care of you precious four-legged family!”

“Cassidy is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend a better pet sitter. From the very beginning, I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my pup. She cared for her in my home for a full week, checking in twice a day and even staying overnight when needed. Cassidy is thoughtful, reliable, and incredibly detail-oriented. My pup was happy, well cared for, and honestly a little spoiled with her new routine! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Cassidy is a wonderful, hardworking, and genuinely kind person. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pet as if they were her own, don’t hesitate to book her. She is truly exceptional. :)”

“Melissa was willing to help me out with a last minute request when other plans fell through. I was staying in Sugarloaf for a ski weekend and the person I had lined up to walk my puppy, Alfie, canceled his Sunday walk on Saturday. I reached out to Melissa Saturday afternoon to see if she could help, and she responded almost immediately. During their walk, Alfie was so curious about the smells on the walk that he forgot to go potty. Melissa stayed long enough to make sure that he went. She was awesome. 100% recommend.”

I highly recommend booking Madison. She was so easy to communicate with and made me feel at ease from the start. She was accommodating, and she sent updates with pictures that showed just how comfortable my cat, Ellie, became under her care. I was able to enjoy an extended vacation without worrying about Ellie. I cannot recommend Madison enough and will absolutely book with her again.

Ria was an absolute angel when taking care of our boys! Very communicative, punctual, and kind. We were able to enjoy our Florida vacation for a week knowing that Ria was showing Wilson and Wallace the love that we show them every day. So grateful for Ria's kind heart and commitment to quality pet care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
