“Hugh and Mary were absolutely amazing with our girl, Olive! We boarded her with them from Friday through Monday while we were in Big Bear, and they made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. They sent us tons of photos and updates throughout the day of Olive playing with the other dogs, which we loved. You can tell they genuinely care about the pups they watch. They were also incredibly flexible and accommodating - they even told us we could pick Olive up anytime for walks or outings while we were around town, just with a quick 5-minute heads up. One thing that especially stood out was how seriously they take dog safety and temperament. During the initial introduction, they made sure Olive was not aggressive because they are very intentional about maintaining a safe, positive environment for all the dogs there. That immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease leaving her with them. Their home was basically Olive’s dream scenario - a 24/7 dog park with dogs playing, lounging on couches and beds, and getting tons of love and attention. She was truly living her best life. We would absolutely book with Hugh and Mary again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, communicative, and trustworthy sitters!”
About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals. My dog Holly is mostly an inside dog but always has access to fenced backyard through doggie door. The same would apply for any dogs I care for.

About: I’ve always had animals around while growing up. I don’t think I can recall a time I haven’t had a pet. I even insisted on rescuing my dear Daizie May when I was 12 from the pound. I’ve helped raise several litters and rescue any dog I see in need. I have to actively stay off Facebook as to not fall into fostering or taking in any animal in need. We boarded her with them from Friday through Monday while we were in Big Bear, and they made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. They sent us tons of photos and updates throughout the day of Olive playing with the other dogs, which we loved. You can tell they genuinely care about the pups they watch. They were also incredibly flexible and accommodating - they even told us we could pick Olive up anytime for walks or outings while we were around town, just with a quick 5-minute heads up. One thing that especially stood out was how seriously they take dog safety and temperament. During the initial introduction, they made sure Olive was not aggressive because they are very intentional about maintaining a safe, positive environment for all the dogs there. That immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease leaving her with them. Their home was basically Olive’s dream scenario - a 24/7 dog park with dogs playing, lounging on couches and beds, and getting tons of love and attention. She was truly living her best life. We would absolutely book with Hugh and Mary again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, communicative, and trustworthy sitters!”
About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals.
