Absolute sweet people to the core. just off brief interaction i felt i could trust them with our boy, of whom can be a bit nervous with new people. They had other dogs but our pup got along just great and came home super excited and happy and had a fantastic nap afterwards. Will definitely be looking for them to petsit again when we need

About: I am currently a dog bather, used to be a dog trainer and have experience with multiple dog breeds and temperaments, I know how to approach timid dogs as well as puppies or older dogs. I am currently a dog trainer so I know how to care for dogs and their individual needs. My current dog has a lot of different medical needs as well. Depending on what the animal needs are, I make a specific care plan for them and follow it exactly. If it works, why change it? We always want what’s best for pets.

About: About Me: Animals are my life’s work. My background is unique: I spent 20 years as a commercial airline pilot, a career built on extreme reliability, safety protocols, and being dependable under pressure. I bring that same disciplined "cool head" to pet sitting. Whether I’m managing a pack on a mountain trail, caring for a senior dog, or tending to a barn, your animals’ safety and your peace of mind are my priorities.R Rehab, Healing & Holistic Expertise: For over 15 years, I have specialized in rehabbing dogs with behavioral challenges. My approach is a blend of structured positive reinforcement and intuitive energy work: Behavioral Rehab: I have extensive experience with "difficult" cases, rescues, and high-needs temperaments. Energy Work & Reiki: I am trained in Animal Reiki and Emotion Code. This allows me to help animals release trapped emotions and settle into a calm, balanced state—perfect for anxious travelers or rescues with a traumatic past. All Species, All Breeds – No Discrimination I welcome all animals regardless of breed, size, or status. I am comfortable with "power breeds," giant breeds, and intact dogs, provided they are social and well-mannered and trained. The "Adventure" Standard: For my canine guests, we go on at least one long hike or intensive walk daily, often including outings to the lake and local trails. Farm & Livestock Care: Having run a farm animal rescue, I am experienced with horses, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, and poultry. I am happy to provide farm-sitting services for those who need a caregiver who truly understands livestock. Why My Experience Matters From the cockpit to the farm, I’ve spent my life being the person people count on. Whether your animal needs a high-energy mountain guide, a calm healing presence, or a knowledgeable farm hand, I have the experience and the heart to provide it. Feel free to ask me for a multi-animal discount! I am home full time dedicating my life to my animals. We typically head out for our long walk or hike in the morning after which everyone is having their meal. The exercise in the morning ensures a calm and happy pack for the rest of the day. My property is fully fenced in and dividable into three sections: Front yard, porch and backyard. The animals are my priority and are typically never left alone.

About: Hello! My name is Taylor, and I am an animal lover with 15 years of experience caring for my own cats and dogs. I have been walking dogs professionally for about 3 years. I'm offering all services available through Rover (walking, stop-ins, overnight sitting, etc.) to help you and your fur babies! Thank you for taking the time to read about me, and I hope to be seeing you and your pup as soon as possible. :) My work is flexible and remote, so I am available at any time. I can provide all Rover services weekends and weekdays, day and night. I have a fenced patio for fresh air, and an unfenced yard in front of my apartment for relief and play. FROM COOKIE AND WALNUT: Miss. Mallory was an amazing hostess! Our parents were a little stressed and forgot to pack us a few things but Miss. Mallory took care of everything including our beds and teddy bears. Cookie had a rough week at the vet so we didn't warm up and quickly as usual but Miss. Mallory was super patient and kept on loving him. She was also an amazing photographer! Would recommend 10/10! Can't wait to stay with her again!

About: Hi! My name is Persia. I have been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for pets. I currently have one small dog at home- as well as two cats. I make sure all pets’ needs are met through daily feeding, walks, playtime, attention, and affection. I am patient, gentle, and dedicated to making small dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Hi! I am a college student back home in California for the summer. I am an animal lover in need of something to keep me busy over the summer, so this is what i chose to do! Spend time with animals and care, as i am very experienced and have grown up having pet animals. I am very experienced with pets, knowing the risks they take (running off, eating random twigs on the floor), so I will be a very attentive sitter. Your pet will not be lonely or left unattended by me! He/she can walk safely with me and be safe in my home. My yard is the largest in the city, and i have a dog play pen. They can run around in the dog pen! My house is also a free range for your pet.

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for my Doberman puppy! Marinee has so much experience with Dobermans, and it really shows. It was comforting to know my Ruby was in the hands of someone who understands the breed’s unique energy and needs. Marinee treated my Ruby like one of their own, providing plenty of exercise, playtime, and care. The updates and photos they sent were a bonus and showed just how happy and well cared for my pup was. I highly recommend Marinee to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable sitter, especially for Doberman owners. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Sugarloaf home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
