“Katherine provided wonderful care for my dogs, with plenty of updates along the way. Huskies can be overwhelming, but she handled them with ease. 10/10 highly recommend. Will likely book again next time I go out of town.”

“Orion and Alex were very kind and professional when I reached out about drop-in visits with Collins. I had never worked with a pet sitter before, and they were very gracious about all of my questions and the detailed instructions I left. Orion provided updates and pictures for me each time he and Alex visited my apartment, and they took the time to try and socialize with my sweet, yet somewhat, standoffish cat. I definitely plan to book time with Orion and Alex again!”

“Kristen is amazing with my pup and has been wonderful to work with. She is on time and ensures that any anxieties I have are lessened and has been flexible and accommodating to my schedule!”

About: In the past, my Aunt had 2 dogs that I absolutely loved taking care of. I would willingly bathe them, play with them, walk them, and even pick up their poop sometimes! I also really enjoyed practicing some training techniques that I was able to help her implement. Getting to know your dog and you are my top priority-your interactions can tell me everything I need to know! I am starting my college journey at UConn as a freshman this August, and am looking for a part time job that I love, and that is flexible, so that I may continue to fund my college career! I find that caring for a pet in a familiar environment is extremely beneficial to your pets-it causes them less stress, and gives you peace of mind! It gives me the ability to keep them following their normal routines within their normal space, and still making sure that they are happy and safe.

“Andrea was so excellent to work with - we felt completely comfortable having her look after our cats when we went out of town for a long weekend. She was communicative, professional, and made sure that she had all of the information she needed to best care for our girls. I would absolutely book with her again and recommend you do as well!”

“Bekka was amazing! She's very detail-oriented and adapted to the quirks of my two cats' quickly. She was a lifesaver over a pretty long stretch over the holidays and took fantastic care of them. I came home to two happy cats. (She's also awesome at taking cat pictures and the updates were perfect.) Thank you so much Bekka! :)”

About: I have been working at a doggy, daycare/boarding place since June 2022 and currently still am. I have grown up with dogs my whole life but i currently have a dog of my own. I am free and ready to take care of your pets! I work for a doggy daycare but am taking time off because of school. I will be with your pet at all times when outside, will spend a lot of time with your pet! Give lots of affection and care!

About: I’ve always had dogs of my own since I was little, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to slower-moving seniors—and I’m comfortable with things like crate training, giving medications, and sticking to your pet’s routine. I truly love being around animals. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Whether they need lots of playtime or just a calm, cozy space, I adapt to meet their needs. Even with a busy schedule as a student-athlete, I always make time for pet care. I’m available mornings, during the day, evenings, and weekends, and I’m willing to adjust things to make it work for you and your pup! When caring for pets in your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they get their walks, meals, playtime, and any special care they need... all while respecting your space and keeping everything tidy. They’ll have a safe space, plenty of attention, and lots of love!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

“Sarah was absolutely amazing, I really felt so comfortable that my Finnegan was in great hands with her! I was able to get away and literally not have any stress or concerns about my dogs well being! Thank you so much Sarah and thank you for the updates on every visit and the pictures too :)”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Once married, my husband and I rescued two Black and Tan Coonhounds and most recently we rescued two Redbone Coonhounds. We currently have one dog, Cliff, who is a Redbone Coonhound. He is like most dogs - spoiled! We usually take three walks a day…it’s what we do and love! We have also fostered a handful of dogs for local animal rescues. I am looking forward to helping other people with their dog's needs! Thank you! I work from home except on Mondays when I go to the office. I am very fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Safety is incredibly important when it comes to pet care. We have an electric fence at home that our dog is completely trained on so he's lucky to have the freedom to come in and out as he wants. Using proper leashes and harnesses is very important to me when walking dogs in addition to always having water on hand.

About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at an elementary school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. Through the years I’ve done fundraisers for local shelters, looked after and groomed family dogs, given pet care advice, and for the last four years have worked professionally as a kennel attendant. My job has always been a joy to me, and despite its stresses I always tell people that caring for animals is the best job I could ever ask for. I’ve been able to meet and work with pets of all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities; from blind/deaf dogs, senior dogs, aggressive dogs, puppies/kittens, diabetic dogs and cats, and so many more. Each of them provides an invaluable experiences that teaches me patience, compassion, and communication. I’m now the proud owner of a 11 month old cat, Balrog, and of a 13 year old chihuahua, Mia. I’m currently a full time student with a part time kennel job, so unfortunately most days I am only available in the evenings or afternoons. Monday: 8AM-12PM, 6:45-11PM Tuesday: 3:45PM-11PM Wednesday: 8AM-11AM, 6:45-11PM Thursday: 7PM-11PM Friday: Unavailable Saturday: 8AM-11PM Sunday: Unavailable While I do not have any space in my home to keep animals at the moment, in a clients home I am happy to play with pets, let them out or go on walks, crate if desired, clean up any possible mess, and overall act as a safe and friendly part of a pet’s environment in any way possible.

“Lindsey went above and beyond taking care of my 2 dogs last minute for me. She followed instructions and communicated with me throughout the day, using the Rover app check-in and sending me pics and updates. She even noticed my Pekingese, Holly, was overdo for a haircut and asked if it was ok to brush/groom her. She did an awesome job and Holly very much appreciated it! Will definitely ask Lindsey to sit again.”

In my years with dogs, I have dealt with crate trained, leash trained, fenced in yards, and much more. I am willing to follow the client schedules and adapt to each family.

Lailah C.
“Having the pleasure of being able to hang out with Lailah, she’s proven to me through her kind, diverse, accepting, and supportive, demeanors that being such a person while having their own struggles doesn’t have to feel like homework. I personally have grown by meeting Lailah, through her actions and words of advice I’ve grown as a person myself. With her recent successes that I’ve had the pleasures of being there for, like her award for awareness for her powerfully written article in societal issues translated into the student body and advocacy of wrong, growing, social norms for those who were oppressed by them; I feel that she is a no brainer. Speaking OF brains, with her explanations and brightness in knowledge of caretaking of her own beautiful cat (Cleo short for Cleopatra) and her seemingly endless amount and variety of plants, she’s taught me specifics and and general understandings, skills, techniques, etc on how to care for my own companions. My cat and I are more closer than ever. She undoubtedly an exponential mental experience and understanding in caring for animals through her own companions she used to have, animal and plant wise, and the one’s she has now, Cleo and plants. I’m remembering that she pet a bee once, in-front of me.. while I was freaking out about it.. while she was telling me how it’s okay to do so when you’re just not being a bad person to it. Excuse my probably Non-brief-ness about this! ButI really believe that Lailah is undoubtedly a responsible and loving pet caregiver and people person.”
