Pet Sitting in Mansfield

About: Hi! I've helped taken care of my family's dog since I was 12, and since then, I've gained experience in caring for multiple dogs and cats. I'm thrilled to help serve my local community. In addition, I've taken multiple animal science courses in my studies at UConn, and have a working knowledge of animal care. I'm a senior studying the life sciences at the University of Connecticut. As a full time student (with extracurriculars), I certainly have a busy schedule, however; that helps motivate me to manage my time and set aside certain days and nights for work! Also, I don't have any class on Fridays or Saturdays, which is perfect for weekend pet sitting needs! I can also overnight pet sit on most nights. Most of my pet sitting work will revolve around ensuring your pet is taken outside (or for a walk) when needed, fed on time (this includes ensuring fresh water is always accessible 24/7!), and given time for playtime (or even time for calm activities, especially if the pet is anxious). This is a fairly standard list of care—so if your pet has needs that differ, please let me know!

About: I’ve done daily visits and taken care of a variety of pets of all different sizes. I’m prepared to work with animals of all needs and am not scared of special requests! I go to a local college during the week but I live near by and am able to drive to client’s houses. My classes have bigger gaps and would be able to visit pets between classes or before or after. I have 10 years of experience handling reptiles and have lived with dogs my whole life. My dogs go on up to 3-4 walks a day and I am able to visit a clients house to pay their pets a visit or take them for walks multiple times daily if needed.

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic puppies to shy cats and everything in between. I’m comfortable with any schedule your pet needs and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a student so all of my days are flexible. The semester is almost over but next semester I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m available for boarding during the week and weekends and everything else is flexible and able to fit into my schedule. There’s plenty of places for them to walk and play. They can easily be crated as well. Anything can be accommodated and done as needed.

About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

I have extensive experience with special needs pets, animals with behavioral challenges, and rescue animals, and I approach every situation with patience, confidence, and compassion. My background has strengthened my ability to read animal body language, manage high-energy or anxious pets, and respond quickly to their needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. Pet care fits easily into my routine as I’m a local UConn student living in the area. I have a flexible class schedule, which allows me to plan my days around visits, walks, or check-ins. This flexibility also makes it easy for me to accommodate different times and provide consistent, reliable care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, administering medications if needed, litter box cleaning, and providing plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure, and I send frequent text updates with lots of pictures to help ease owners’ minds and keep them connected while they’re away.

About: I went to Highschool at Edwin O Smith where I took animal science class for four years. I then went to UConn and took a livestock animal class for a year. I have pet sitted for all types of animals from dogs and cats to goats and horses. I owned a small goat farm for 5 years as part of an FFA project learning to be an entrepreneur. I know basic veterinarian technician skills from my animal science classes. I have personally owned dogs, fish, birds, rabbits, hamsters. I have the experience to deal with more difficult animals. I will make sure your pet is in an environment that's stress free and full of cuddles. At the moment I am a stay at home mom doing online courses for accounting. Since I’m always home it’s perfect for watching pets 24/7 or going out and feeding, walking, etc.. for periods of time. At my house I have an empty barn with a huge fenced in area for pets to enjoy running free, being outside, playing fetch, or just relaxing in the shade. I also have a fenced in porch where I like to sit outside and watch the day go by with furry friends.

About: I have had dogs in my house since I was little and have been around animals my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old labradoodle. I have looked after and taken care of dogs of varying ages for friends for a long time. Currently, I'm a college student (animal science major) studying to be a veterinarian. I am very thorough and attentive to pet behavior and always aim to create a safe and fun environment! I am at home the majority of evenings/nights and I am in the area during the day. I work hybrid but my hours and days are extremely flexible. Understanding the clients house rules for their pets are important to me. I communicate promptly with reliability and respect so both pets and owners are comfortable. I can accommodate any needs necessary for your pet. My goal is a happy, safe, loved pet and making owners feel at ease being away from their pets.
