About: I am a very active person. I love any excuse to run or walk outside, having an animal with me is a huge bonus. My roommate is allergic to dogs, so for now this will be the way to fill the void of not having a pet of my own. Therefore, I promise I will love your pet as if they were mine. Among some turtles and a frog or two, I grew up with three golden retrievers, and I was always the go-to person to watch any of my friend's/coworker's dogs and cats if they were away, ranging from just a couple days to two to three weeks at a time. I am very hardworking, trustworthy, kind, and I absolutely love any and all animals. I went from working in an office to now being remote, so I feel like I have ample time everyday and am always looking for a reason to get outside. My apartment building has a space outside for dogs to mingle and play. Otherwise, there is a park close by me that we can walk to.

“Odalys went above and beyond with my five cats while I was on vacation. She updated me at every visit as to how they were all doing. My cats enjoyed her company. She followed all of my instructions. I would definitely have her take care of my cats again when I go on my next vacation...without hesitation!”

“Ola was a wonderful cat sitter, especially for my older cat who requires special attention and insulin injections. She handled everything with great care and confidence. I truly appreciated her reliability and how comfortable she made me feel knowing my cats were in good hands. Highly recommend! :)”

“Brian was fantastic! He stopped by each day to feed and play with our cat Piper and kept us updated with pictures and comments on how she was doing. It’s clear he genuinely loves and cares about pets and is highly recommended for any pet-sitting needs!”

I treat every dog like family and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away!! I have a pretty open schedule during the weekdays. I am available weekdays from 11am-4pm and after 1pm on weekends!! I am very flexible with days and times!! When caring for your pets in your home, I aim to keep them comfortable by following their usual routine as close as possible. I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of love, attention, and special care based off individual needs. I’m committed to meeting their unique needs. “Paulina was very accommodating and patient with our fearful dog. She allowed us to go on our camping trip with the peace of mind that Milo was taken care of. She was very easy to communicate with and sent us frequent updates.”

About: I am very patient with animals getting to know me and understand that not all cats will come out. I have practice with older cats and kittens. I used to have a dog of my own, and play with all of my friends dogs! I am usually availble early weekday mornings before work, and weekday nights after work. I am also available most weekends as long as I know in advance. I want to make sure the pets are comfortable and cared for when their humans aren't around. Fill food and water, scooping litter, playing (if they care for that), sitting around and patiently wait for them to approach me, basically make sure that the pets get what they need!

“Danielle has taken care of our 2 cats and dog for two years every time we leave town. She’s always willing to go above and beyond and water your plants or grab your mail. She sends detailed updates daily/throughout the day, is always so attentive and lets us know if she notices anything abnormal with the animals at all. She’s extremely flexible and works her schedule (even holidays) around taking care of them. Our animals have all come to love her. We couldn’t recommend her more! We’re about to move and will miss having her to take care of our fur babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I’ve raised many puppies and taken care of them into their senior days. I’ve provided pure love, safety, care, and tons of cuddles with many many many doggies. My own throughout my entire life, and for many friends, neighbors, family, and clients. My schedule is pretty open and flexible right now. So I’d have all the time to give your pups all my time and attention. Availability 7 days a week. I have a fenced yard. A safety gate blocking the stairs to the basement so no little doggies that might have trouble slipping on stairs can get to them or the basement. A dogs safety is always my utmost priority.

About: If you don't see many photos of me with my pets, it's because they're the cuties and they deserve their own selfies. (Its also because I forget to take photos instead of videos 😅) I’ve lived with both dogs and cats, so I’m familiar with the basics of daily pet care; feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, litter box cleaning, and keeping things tidy. While I haven’t done professional pet sitting long, I’m dependable, respectful of your space, and genuinely care about keeping your pet comfortable and happy while you’re away. I follow instructions carefully and always do my best to make sure pets feel safe, cared for, and calm in their routine. I'm currently a part-time manager at a clothing store, which gives me a flexible schedule especially in the mornings and early afternoons. I'm not in school right now, so I have more free time during the week and weekends. I love starting my day early and can be available for drop-ins, walks, and check-ins most mornings, with some afternoon and evening availability depending on the day. I’ll always do my best to work around your pet’s routine! Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and respected. I follow all instructions carefully, keep a clean environment, and pay attention to your pet’s cues and needs. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or nervous pets, and aim to make every visit calm and low-stress. I always treat your home and pets with care as if they were my own.

About: I have trained two puppies and I raised my dog for 12 years! I would love to meet your dog and treat them as mine own! I work as Nursing assistant but I also have some free time and would love to work with animals as well! I enjoy being helpful! I can drive to your home and make sure your pet is taken care of and kept clean! I can also take them out for walks as needed !

About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I have walked dogs for pretty much everyone in my family. Big dogs are my favorite! I have a pit/lab mix and a Maltese at home! My baby Maltese is old but I still love him. I am a big guy so I can handle your big dogs! I am a full time teacher, but dogs are a big part of my life. I get out of work at 4 pm so anytime after that can be dedicated to walking/caring for your baby! I am going to start with just weekends, but I will be looking to open my calendar more as I get used to it. If you urgently need a weekday, just let me know! We can make it happen. I have a large fenced backyard, and two loving fur babies myself. I keep them crated for the most part, especially to not overwhelm any new friends!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was a cat, her name was Smoky when I was seven years old. At 11, I got my first puppy, a poodle, and by age 12, I had two more cats, Simba and Tigger. When I was 15, I got my second dog, a border collie named Darcy, who stayed by my side until she passed at 15 years old, she grew up with me and my kids. Even as a child, my parents made sure I was fully responsible for my pets, which taught me how to care for them properly, from grooming to training to making sure they were healthy, exercised, and loved. In 2016, I started offering pet care professionally. Since then, I’ve done part-time dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and boarding dogs in my home while their families are on vacation. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all kinds and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll treat your pets like my own, with care, respect, and lots of love. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to care for pets throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine every morning, and I truly believe pets thrive on structure and stability, too. I’m flexible when needed, but I love having a daily rhythm, and that helps pets feel safe, calm, and cared for. In My Home Dogs: Your dog will enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with a fenced yard and one friendly resident dogs for company. I take dogs on morning and evening walks and also bring them to dog parks using my Forest Preserve dog park license when appropriate. I follow consistent feeding schedules and provide plenty of playtime, affection, and structure. Cats: While cats may be more independent, I make sure they have their own space, access to fresh water, food, and a clean litter box. I respect their need for quiet and let them come to me on their own terms, but when they want cuddles or play, I’m always ready. In Your Home Dogs: I make sure your dog feels secure in their familiar space by keeping their routine consistent. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, take them for walks, provide any grooming needs you request, and spend time giving them affection and attention, whether that’s playtime or just relaxing nearby. Cats: I understand that cats often do best in their own environment. I’ll make sure litter boxes are kept clean, food and water are refreshed, and any medications or care instructions are followed closely. I’ll also spend time with them so they don’t feel lonely, whether that means playing with their favorite toy or simply sitting nearby to provide quiet companionship.

“Our dog Luna loves Cheryl. We were impressed from the very first intro meeting how attentive Cheryl was to understanding our dogs patterns. Cheryl is lovely to work with and is so friendly. The updates we get after are so helpful.”

About: I love dogs. I have had them since I was a child. I have owned a Black Lab, a Yellow Lab, and a Fox terrier. I have also watched, babysat, and lived with multiple breeds, Including a Huskie, a Border Collie, a Chihuahua, amongst a few others. I love everything about dogs. They're loyal, friendly, playful, and just a joy to be around. I have always had a special connection with animals. Being around dogs is simply natural for me. I'm not afraid of a challenge. If it's a dog with mountains of energy, a dog that is shy, or a dog that needs special attention. I also have experience with aggressive breeds. I don't believe words do justice. Let be a part of your life, and show you I have what it takes to care for your special friend. I am a gig worker, so my schedule is open. I am able to work with the pets any time or day of the week. I live in the City, so I take public transit. I do my best to be able to get around, but if it's too far I will let you know before we book. I feed them, walk them, play with them, make sure they have enough attention. The basic things you need to do to take care of an animal.

Stone Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Julia was amazing with Charlie at the drop-in visit. My dog is timid and suffers from anxiety, Julie was patient with Charlie, allowing him to come around to her in his time. Charlie also made a mess in his crate chewing his mattress to pieces and Julia was kind enough to help pick up the mess for me. Thank you!!
