About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of different breeds and personalities since I was 11. I understand and respect the owners wishes on care, communication, and cost. Depending upon the care needs of thr pet(s), I work my daily schedule around. My daily schedule is tea, work, breakfast, work, lunch, work, coffee, walk, dinner. I work remotely for my start up (your life ........) Whether it’s dogs or cat, I adhere to safety guidelines of the owners: Guidelines on food do and don’t, walking schedule and paths, sleeping arrangements and timings.

About: Hello! My name is Karissa and I am a big animal lover. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and have always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. I have trained and competed in agility with my Australian shepherds, and I have worked with and trained dogs of all ages. I have also cared for and loved many cats (both my own and for clients and friends). When I played varsity polo for Virginia Tech, my team was charge of all aspects of care for our 16 horses during the school year. I have ridden and cared for over 100 horses since I was young. Through these experiences, I have administered medications, handled behavioral issues, fed a variety of foods, and cared for and diagnosed illnesses and injuries. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their favorite people are away. Your pet should feel like they are on vacation too! I am available and excited to care for your pets on any schedule that works best for them! My schedule is quite flexible right now. Because I offer care in your home, I strive to ensure that you and your pets feel safe, respected, and cared for. I emphasize safety, privacy, cleanliness, and happy animals. Especially with the temporary change in caregiver, I believe it is extremely important to maintain the routine your pets are used to while you are away, with maybe a couple extra treats (with permission, of course) :) Above all, I adhere to the care rules and instructions given to me, because you know your pets better than anyone.

About: Hi! We’re Christina & Zach—lifelong animal lovers with 40+ years of combined experience. I grew up on a farm where my mom bred Newfoundlands & Great Pyrenees, so caring for dogs has always been second nature. Over the years, I’ve had German Shepherds, an Alaskan Malamute, Boxer, Rottweiler, Pomeranian, Samoyed and mixed breeds. Zach grew up with a horse and has had Black Labs, German Shepherds, Peekapoos, Pitbulls, Golden Retrievers and Boxers—he’s known as the “dog whisperer” among friends and family. OUR HOME & CARE: We both work from home as Creative Directors & Designers, so your dog will rarely (if ever) be left alone. We provide a calm, attentive environment with long daily walks (AM + PM), playtime and a fenced backyard. We’re happy to follow your dog’s routine, preferences and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. We also have experience working with animals in therapeutic settings (horses and dogs), which informs our calm, intuitive approach to care. THE BAY AREA / DOG & HOUSESITTING We are currently active house and pet sitting across Marin & Sonoma counties and the East Bay. We relocated to the Bay Area in summer 2026 and are settling into the region while continuing to care for pets and homes locally. SCHEDULE: Flexible, with daily walks (typically 2–4 miles total or more if needed). Additional walks and care tailored to your dog’s needs. We work from home for ourselves. EXPECTATIONS: I’m an interior designer and take great pride in maintaining a beautiful home. I’m on Rover for the love of dogs—not for income—so I’m selective to protect my space. All dogs must arrive freshly groomed with nails trimmed prior to drop-off. Thank you for understanding. SAFETY, TRUST, ENVIRONMENT: In our home we have a fenced in backyard they can enjoy. We can accommodate their dog bed in (or out) of our bedroom or can also crate them at night — if you prefer. RATES & FIT: We may charge higher rates for larger breeds or dogs requiring additional time, energy, or care. This ensures every dog receives the attention they deserve and that we are fairly compensated.

About: I started my career in veterinary services at 16 by volunteering for a small, non-profit rescue in Los Angeles. Now, I work at an animal hospital in the city and pet-sit for a roster of clients. I specialize in senior animal care, but adore pets of all ages! Our animal hospital is closed from 12-2pm, so I take advantage of this break by attending to any pet-sitting/walking related care. I have odd days off as well, so I am flexible for day-to-day care. I use a trauma-informed, consent-based approach to any animal I interact with. My career involves working with animals who are at their most stressed state, which allows me to understand how to cultivate the absolute most comfortable experience.

About: I have volunteered at Humane Societies with all kinds of pets because animals are my passion, and have had pets for almost 30 years. I currently have had a wonderful cat named Latte for 6 years and I couldn't live without her. I am available during the day to walk your dog or take it to play at a dog park, or check in on your cat and give it plenty of love, food, and attention. I make sure the pets I look after are cared for like my own, and their safety, comfort, and security are a top concern of mine.

I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I trained all of them myself with modernizing the methods as the practices changed over time. In High School I worked for a veterinary clinic washing dogs and administering vaccines as well as meds. I was a teacher for 20 years and am super resourceful. I've always had dogs. For me, life would be empty without them, and I'm one of these crazy people who would do absolutely anything to meet their needs!! About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Update 2/26: I just adopted a mastiff, so I’m not doing any in home boarding until I get her settled in her new home, but I’m still happy to do drop ins or walks for other dogs. Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!
