About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!
“Halee was very welcoming and kind towards Teddy. He had a couple of long walks during his visit with her, which he loves to do. He was well-cared for and we appreciated her support”

About: Hi, I'm Diana! Your dog is family — and when they're with me, I treat them that way too. I'm a Mill Valley local and dog mom to a crew of my own (yes, all sizes — we don't discriminate). Our home is warm, active, and kid-friendly, with a yard to roam and some of Marin's best trails right at our doorstep. I'm also a certified yoga instructor, which is a fancy way of saying I bring a lot of patience and calm energy to everything I do — including caring for your pup. Whether your dog needs a leisurely neighborhood walk, a quick drop-in check, or a cozy place to sleep while you're away, I'm here and genuinely flexible. I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog behind, so my goal is simple: keep you updated, keep them happy, and send you home to a tail-wagging reunion. Mill Valley is my backyard. Your dog is in good hands. 🐾 🐾 Dogs — What to Expect First meeting: I always recommend a quick meet-and-greet before any booking so your dog can sniff out the space, meet my crew, and let us know how they feel. No pressure, just vibes. Feeding & routine: Your dog's schedule is my schedule. I follow your feeding times, portions, and any dietary needs to the letter — consistency matters, especially in a new environment. Exercise & play: Daily walks are a given, and I know Marin's trails well. Depending on your dog's energy level, we'll do neighborhood strolls or hit the trails. Yard time is always on the table too. Bedtime: Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they're comfortable — couch, dog bed, or a cozy corner. I follow your lead on what they're used to. Updates: You'll get at least one photo update per day, usually more. I know you're going to wonder how they're doing — I just take the guessing out of it. 🐱 Cats — What to Expect First meeting: For boarding, I encourage a short drop-off visit first so your cat can get a feel for the space before committing. For shy cats especially, this makes a big difference. Feeding & routine: I follow your cat's exact feeding schedule, portions, and any medication routine without cutting corners. Cats notice everything — I try to keep things as familiar as possible. Settling in: Some cats warm up in an hour, some take a day or two. I give them full permission to hide, observe, and come around on their own terms. No forcing it. Play & enrichment: When they're ready, I engage — wand toys, lap time, whatever your cat is into. I take my cues from them. Updates: Daily photo updates, always. Even if it's just your cat staring at a wall — honestly those are my favorite ones to send. 🐾 Dogs — Safety, Trust & Environment My home is a lived-in, dog-friendly space — not a sterile setup, but a real family home where dogs are genuinely welcome. We have a secure yard, two dogs of our own who love meeting new friends, and kids who know how to respect animals and give them space when needed. For boarding, I keep a close eye on how dogs interact, especially during introductions, and I never leave them unsupervised until I'm confident everyone's comfortable. My two are social and easygoing, which makes the settling-in process a lot smoother for most visitors. I follow your emergency vet information and will always contact you before making any medical decisions. For walks, I stay on leash in unfamiliar areas and only let dogs off leash in designated spaces if you've explicitly okayed it. I know the neighborhood well and stick to safe, dog-friendly routes. Your dog won't just be watched — they'll be included. 🐱 Cats — Safety, Trust & Environment I have cats of my own, so I know how to create a calm, low-stress environment for a visiting kitty. We also have two dogs in the home — but cats who board with us have a completely separate, dog-free space where they can eat, sleep, and decompress without ever crossing paths with them. No shared zones, no surprise encounters. For boarding, I give new cats time to settle into their space before any gradual introductions are considered — and only if you're open to it. No forced interactions, ever. I keep windows and doors secure, know the hiding spots to check, and never leave food or anything potentially harmful within reach. Medications are given carefully and on schedule, documented so nothing gets missed. For drop-in visits, I treat your home exactly as you'd want it treated — tidy, secure, and undisturbed. I do a quick walkthrough each visit to make sure everything looks right before I leave. Your cat's comfort and safety isn't an afterthought. It's the whole point.
“So far I can confidently say Adriana and Derek made me feel the most comfortable yet, leaving Rocco at their house under their care. Not only is their set up perfect for dogs, they genuinely care for your pet and treat them as well or better than your own. Rocco came home happy and tired. I look forward to hiring them again soon feeling secure in the time and effort they offer my dog. Very grateful I found them.”

“Chris, thank you so much. We have so much peace of mind knowing that you loved Bodhi as much as we do. It was wonderful to get feedback from you and see pictures of your hike. We look forward to working with you again.”

“Our 4 month old puppy had a great time doing a day sit with Ellen! She is usually shy but took to Ellen immediately, and Ellen was helpful and communicative throughout the whole process.”

About: Hi Pet parents! My name is Sophie and I’ve been a dog owner for all 19 years I’ve been alive - using all of that time to gain experience walking, taking care of, cleaning up after, training, and ensuring the safety of my pups. I’m comfortable with any size level and activity level- I’ve seen it all! I also have experience house sitting and taking care of friend’s/family’s pets while they are away. I’m looking to take care of some animals while I’m home from college for the summer because it’s what I do best! Thank you for entrusting me with the health and needs of your baby 🩷 I’m a college student who is home for the summer! I’m not working any jobs outside of this, so I can give your pup all of the love and attention and exercise they deserve! I have a fenced yard so there is no risk of running into the road and a large house/yard for the dogs to play around in. I have a 10 year old Boston terrier who is extremely friendly and she loves making new friends! If your dog doesn’t work well with others, I have enough space to separate them completely and comfortably.
“Amber was great! She took the trouble to come over for a "meet and greet" with Leo and Bailey the day before her job, which not only established a relationship in advance but gave us a chance to discuss the drill with them in unrushed fashion, ahead of time. Amber has a great chill way with dogs and is a reliable and cheerful person to work with. Would definitely use again.”

“Nadya was so kind and took great care of our puppy, sending photos and videos throughout his stay. We’ll definitely be reaching out again next time we’re in town and need someone to take care of Appa for the day! Thank you, Nadya!”

About: Hi! I have always loved animals. I have had dogs my entire life since we adopted my first dog, a black lab, from the humane society when I was 5. I have also volunteered at the humane society for many years on a regular basis. I am home full time right now and my priority is giving the animals I look after the best possible care and of course lots of love! I just want them to be happy and comfortable with me. Reach out with any questions you may have. This is my main job at the moment so I have a very flexible schedule during the week. Therefore, my number one priority is making sure your pet is happy and safe while at home or out on an adventure. I have no pets myself right now so I have a lot of time and energy to care for your dogs and cats. I have cared for many of my own pets, and they lived happy, long lives. With me, you have a trustworthy, competent, and caring animal lover.

“Lori and Frank were incredibly warm to me and my dog! They welcomed him with open arms and gave him so much love - I was able to happily be without him knowing he was in great hands with Lori and Frank. They loved his idiosyncrasies and did everything they could to make my dog comfy - he can’t wait to go back and I will definitely use Lori and Frank regularly!”

“Jesse was fantastic! His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he kept us updated with photos throughout the visit, which gave us a peace of mind. He kindly accommodated our early 6:30 AM drop-off due to our work schedule, and our dogs absolutely loved his spacious yard, plenty of room to play and stay entertained. We felt completely comfortable leaving them in his care. Highly recommend Jesse to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!”

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and I’ve cared mostly for dogs on the smaller side, but I am good with bigger dogs too. I have some beginner training experience as well. I’m currently working only as a pet caregiver so I have plenty of time to tend to your pet! I have class on Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. I live in a very dog friendly apartment building. Dogs are allowed on furniture. They will get frequent walks (morning, afternoon, and evening) and potty breaks (every 2-4 or 4-6 hours depending on dog) and I will set alarms for meals/medications.
“Caroline is a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about dogs! She’s also very responsive and warm. My pup looked so happy and relaxed when I picked him up and I look forward to having him back with her in the future.”

Whether it’s energetic dogs, independent cats, or a mix of both, I take pride in providing attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. In my photos I have screenshotted a few reviews I have gotten on a different dog care platform. It is a joint account with my partner and we have had over ten house sits and have received 5 stars all around! The consistent positive feedback reflected on that profile shows not only my ability to care for both cats and dogs, but also my respect for clients’ homes—keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I understand the level of trust it takes to leave your pets and home in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and flexible care throughout the day. I also have experience administering medication, so you can feel confident that your pet’s health routines will be handled safely and responsibly. You can count on me for reliable communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos so you always feel connected while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! I work remote east coast hours so my schedule is very flexible and I am up bright and early. I’m a very active individual and make an effort to be outside as much as possible. I have very few meetings since my work is more project based so it’s so nice to have a buddy to be my shadow or to cuddle with during breaks!! Please refer to my TrustedHousesitters profile for reviews on my visits in the last year. In my home, I create a clean, pet-friendly space that’s secure, comfortable, and free of hazards, with plenty of supervision throughout the day since I work from home.
