From pictures and videos, to text messages checking in with us throughout the day, we’ve come to realize how fortunate we were to discover Mitzi’s day care, she really dotes on all of the dogs and it’s such a comforting feeling knowing your dog is in great hands. About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I always wait to see if they have sniffed me and that lets me know they are or are not accepting of me.

About: I’ve taken care of the family pets since I was 8. I grew up on a small farm which taught me how to take care and love the animals. I got my first puppy at 15. A beautiful black lab. Learned how to take care of her on my own and her needs. After over 2 years of working on this app, I have helped many families with there pets needs! These pets have become like one of my own! I am a starting Long Island realtor so I have open availability. I am happy to help with whatever your needs are to help your pet have a great day! Before I moved out of my parents house we had 2 black labs who loved to run and play outside, and occasionally roll themselves in the dirt…when that would happen I would have to take them to the bath and bathe them. They would get lots of love and cuddles.

About: I’ve had a variety of pets from the age of 4! From dogs & cats to rabbits, chinchillas & bunnies. They’re like another family member and I’ve always loved taking care of them as such. My grandmother grew up on a farm & helped me learn everything about taking care of animals, so I hope with the experience and care she’s taught me, I can give them that same warm home away from home feeling. I am completely remote in my job. I work from home 5 days a week from 10am- about 6pm EST. My job is based in Mountain time. It is VERY flexible, and I would be able to take out any dogs as often as needed. I live in a townhome with 2 cats who have been around other animals. They are completely up to date with shots & both are spayed/neutered! I can take out any puppies at any time as my neighborhood is pet friendly.

I pay close attention to a pet’s personality, habits, and routines so I can adapt my care to their comfort level, whether that means providing a quiet, calm environment for shy pets or engaging in active play for more energetic ones. I also make it a point to send regular updates, photos, and notes to owners so they feel reassured and connected while they’re away. In my own home, I designate safe areas for rest, play, and meals, and I make sure fresh water is always available. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely everything from where the pet sleeps to how they like their walks so the pet’s routine is not disrupted. My goal is for every pet to feel secure, cared for, and happy, no matter the environment.

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have helped my family care for their animals as well. From puppy years to well into senior years they are always loved in my care. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’m always available and in home with your pets. I can provide consistent care and tend to their needs at any time! I have two friendly dogs that will help keep your dogs safe, we do have an outside leash if they prefer or I can walk them on a leash with me!
