“After three day camps we’re beyond happy with the level of care and fun that Mitzi has provided to our rescue Maltese, Winnie. Our goal was to provide a fun, safe, and positive socializing experience for Winnie, who is still very much coming into her own after being rescued from a puppy mill just five months ago. From pictures and videos, to text messages checking in with us throughout the day, we’ve come to realize how fortunate we were to discover Mitzi’s day care, she really dotes on all of the dogs and it’s such a comforting feeling knowing your dog is in great hands. We highly recommend Mitzi and hope others with shy/introverted dogs are equally fortunate to have their dogs spend time playing the day away in their giant back yard with friends of all sizes.”

About: I grew up serving our family farm in the town of Rolesville, NC. At the age of eight (8) I was helping my mother run a boarding kennel with drop off day care for dogs and cats. Since then I have always made it my business to provide service to pets all over the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Wake Forest, Zebulon and Wendell) area I have several years experience in customer service as well as caring for many types of animals (mostly cats, dogs, birds and reptiles). I groom (bath, nails, brushing), feed, walk(walks typically last 30 minutes or more), play & exercise(include fetch, hiking, swimming, cuddling, nap time, and car rides) water, medications (if needed) and much more. I am here to please both pets and the owners. There will always be someone home with your fur baby, myself and my husband (Leon) have had several years experience with caring for multiple animals including dogs, live stock, retiles and birds. My yard is not currently fenced in but looking to add that to my to-do list as I recently moved into my new home. I live on just over 2 acres of land.

About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years, since she was 5 months old. I grew up with dogs and cats and have pet and baby sat for my friends and fam for years! My dog takes medications so I have experience with that. I have experience with pets with seizures as well. I’m currently on leave and home full time and would be with your pet most of the day. I will go back to work eventually Monday to Friday at which point I could come home during lunch as well. I’ll update this at that point. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog. We would do a meet and greet for safety with other dogs but she loves dogs and cats.

“Gail and her family were extremely welcoming to our much loved Standard Poodle, a loving, but high energy boy. They were easy to work with, sent us regular updates and pics of our boy and we are so glad we found them on Rover - conveniently located in our neighborhood, he will be returning to them soon.”

“Great dog caretaker. Atwater had fun and he was well taken care of. We will be rebooking with Mike.”

“Judy was the sweetest! She sent pictures and was very flexible with time. My pup had a blast and she shared the cutest pictures. Judy will be the only one I reach out to in Wilson to care for my pup.”

“I am so grateful that Holly was able to take care of my fur baby. She was super nice and Darbie loved her. She did an amazing job. The next time that I need a dogsitter I will be calling Holly. Thank you”

“Jessica is an absolute gem! She took good care of Riley and sent lots of photo updates while I had to fly out to California for the day. I really enjoyed seeing them and it made me feel comfortable knowing Riley was in good hands and having fun. Her dog River is very friendly and sweet! Riley and her played well together. This was my first experience using Rover and I had many questions–Jessica was very patient with me and even agreed to a meet and greet prior to make sure our dogs got a long well. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone. She treated Riley like he was part of the family, he was allowed on furniture and got to enjoy movie night with her and her husband. Thank you Jessica!”

About: I have been around dogs literally my whole life. I don't remember a time since I was born that I didn't have a dog. From sleeping on our pit bull as a toddler to rescuing a shelter baby to keep me company at college dogs have been an amazing part of my story. I'd even like to think that because of my fur babies I was more prepared to taken on the new journey of becoming a parent of an amazing little girl. Because of these experiences, I have learned many things about not only catering to a variety of personalities, but being creative in entertainment and time management. About: Dog sitting is more than just making sure your pet is taken care of. I want to ensure that your dog is also having a great time and enjoying themselves. I am the person all family members, friends, and neighbors come to for reliable dog sitting and hopefully I can be your sitter too !! I try my best to ensure your dog feels comfortable at all times and to make them feel at home. As a dog owner, I understand the worries of leaving your pup with someone new but I promise to care for your dog like it’s my own! I am home most of the week and seldomly leave home when dog sitting. I schedule most of my weeks around dog sitting and will communicate with owners if there’s any circumstances that require me to be away from your pet for any amount of time. At my current home, we have a fairly large, fenced in yard so it’s perfect for dogs who love to run around but can’t be off leash in an unconfined space. I can also work with dogs that need restraints and I can take them for walks down my neighborhood, which has little to no traffic. I will try my best to ensure each dog is comfortable in their environment, whether it’s at my home or at theirs. Since I have a dog myself, I like to separate the dogs at feeding time and to only let play together when supervised. Lastly, my entire family loves dogs so your dog will not only receive love and care from me, but from my entire family!

The schedule included times for their walks, food/water, baths, any medication that needed to be given, and of course playtime and snuggles; Rico, Rocco and Mikayla’a favorite time.👧🐾🐾 Today, Mikayla is the most loving pet parent to Jax.
