“Best sitter ever. I will be using her again and again. My cavapoo adores her. She is so good with animals and I trust her 100% sent me updates everyday while i took my vacation”

“Brian was ABSOLUTELY fantastic! I could not be anymore thankful for finding someone to cat sit for my Rose. He was extremely loving, caring, and attentive to her while making sure she was comfortable and adjusted. I will definitely be reaching out to him again for future visits to watch Rose and recommend him to anyone!”

“Paige was fantastic! She sent updates and pics everyday and our dog looked so happy every time. We were able to enjoy our vacation without having to worry at all. We will be rebooking her for all of our future trips!”

“Mitzi and her family did a wonderful job of taking care of our 2 dogs. Our pups got lots of attention and Mitzi contacted us with lots of photos, videos and updates. We can't thank her and her family enough for their great care. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you again, Mitzi.”

“Suzanne and her family are ideal Rover sitters--so welcoming, caring, and communicative. We received frequent updates and pictures of our dog while we were away, and were thankful to have found such a kind and responsible family to care for Roux while we traveled. We plan to book with Suzanne again!”

“Judy watched Bennie for a long weekend while I was out of town and this being the first time I’ve left him with someone for that long, I was nervous. But Judy was incredibly sweet and so was her puppy. Bennie was well taken care of and I got lots of pictures. She has a very nice fenced in yard and lets the dogs come and go as they please. I will definitely be using Judy again!”

“My heartfelt thanks to Nikki for taking care of our 2 year old dog Zola during our month long overseas vacation. She took care of Zola like her own and pampered her so much that, Zola wants to go back to Nikki's house. This was our first time leaving Zola for such long duration and we were worried. However, Nikki kept us regularly updated with messages, photos and videos of Zola which helped us to complete our vacation with peace of mind. We are ever thankful to Nikki.”

“Piper has been staying with Scott and Heather for years. When she arrives at their home, she literally runs to the front door. This last visit, she jumped out the truck window, because , waiting for someone to open the door apparently, wasn't quick enough. They are her second family!”

“My pups just had a great stay with Melissa and family. They stayed for 10 days and seem very happy. We got pictures and information regularly and felt very comfortable with the setup there. Would highly recommend and will use again! Thank you!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nashville
I’ve been looking for a great dog sitter I can trust with Peanut ever since I moved to Rovky Mount 2 years ago and I finally found that person in Brian! Brian made Peanut feel comfortable from the minute they met and I was at ease because Brian provided updates and pictures regularly during Peanut’s stay. Peanut is 14 and does usually not do well with new people. Brian clearly has a way with animals. I highly recommend him!

This was our first time leaving our two dogs with someone other than family, and Brian made it such a smooth process! He provided updates and pictures regularly and did amazing with our dog that is super shy. You can tell he really cares for animals and strives to provide the best experience! I would definitely recommend Brian to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring person to watch their fur babies!!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
