Brian was ABSOLUTELY fantastic! I could not be anymore thankful for finding someone to cat sit for my Rose. He was extremely loving, caring, and attentive to her while making sure she was comfortable and adjusted. I will definitely be reaching out to him again for future visits to watch Rose and recommend him to anyone!

"Leaving my dogs behind is never easy, but Mitzi and her family made the experience absolutely seamless and stress-free. From the start, I appreciated her pre-visit requirement to ensure all the dogs got along, which immediately built my trust. Her home was clean, welcoming, and featured a fantastic dedicated backyard area just for the dogs. Throughout their stay, Mitzi kept me connected with daily pictures and updates on how they were feeling and playing. It was heartwarming to see Paisley constantly being held and loved. I was especially touched by how they handled Gucci, who is quite shy. Mitzi captured his journey from nervously hiding under cushions to being completely comfortable on the couch with the family only a day later. Mitzi’s family is incredibly polite, respectable, and friendly. She praised my dogs for being great guests, and the feeling is mutual—I would trust her completely to watch them again. If you are looking for a sitter who truly treats your dogs like family, Mitzi is the one."

About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pet, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company, I try to match their routine and make things as stress-free as possible. I’m easy to reach, send updates and photos, and I’m always happy to help, even with last-minute plans. At the end of the day, I just want you to feel confident knowing your pet is being well taken care of. I typically work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends so I have plenty of time to tend to the needs of the fur babies. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I can walk your pets as much as you like but I usually walk them 2-4 hours. I have a friendly pup named Yani that will keep your babies company while visiting my home. I’ll treat your pets like family, with love and care!

Milika was the BEST! This was my dogs first time being away and he doesn’t get along with others well so I was terrified for him as well as Milika. I reached out beforehand to see if we could meet and she said yes and my dog was so comfortable with her and her home. We loved her personality and could tell that she was genuinely a good person. I arranged for him to be picked up from my home and she was on time. She was very communicative and shared many pictures and videos during his stay. She made me and my dog feel comfortable during his stay. He loved her! I will be booking with her again.

Rajita did a great job taking care of Tank. It was our first time using Rover. Since it was for a full week and during the holiday season, I was a little nervous. Rajita was very responsive amd we were able to do a meet and greet with her dog in advance of the booking. She sent pictures on a regular basis during our trip and I could see Tank was having fun with the other dogs. We will definitely book with Rajita again!

Judy watched Bennie for a long weekend while I was out of town and this being the first time I’ve left him with someone for that long, I was nervous. But Judy was incredibly sweet and so was her puppy. Bennie was well taken care of and I got lots of pictures. She has a very nice fenced in yard and lets the dogs come and go as they please. I will definitely be using Judy again!

10/10 would recommend! They are the sweetest bunch and took great care of my cat. All of their furry friends seemed to get along well with her! They sent me photos and updates everyday which were greatly appreciated. And last but not least, they were extremely flexible and kind with letting her stay for another night when I couldn’t make our agreed pickup time.

Ahlana, did a fantastic job looking over my fur baby Spadey. He came back like his normal self where in the past with other sitters he came back anxious and bewildered. I wish I could have received more photos or videos during the stay, but that’s minor in comparison to my baby coming back happy.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs. Ive turned aggressive dogs calm. Understanding your dog and its triggers are key. I will treat your pet like it’s my own. Lots of love and playful stimulation. I’m not just watching your dog, I’m creating a bond. Creating a safe space for your pup to be able to relax and have fun. Building trust with you is step 1. I’m currently working full time but I can move my schedule around as needed. At the moment weekends are best to watch your fur babies. I have an open yard. Not big but big enough to play. I use e collars to help direct playtime and to have control over them as needed. Dogs roam freely in the house when I am home. They go in crate if I am not. Multiple post breaks and plenty of playtime and healthy stimulation

Lauren and Jeremy were wonderful! They were quick to answer all the questions this first time Rover-user had to throw at them. Our 7 month old puppy, Millie, had a fantastic time playing at their house and with their dogs. Millie is a bit nervous around new people/dogs, but you would have never known by the time she left their house. Thanks again!

I’ve been looking for a great dog sitter I can trust with Peanut ever since I moved to Rovky Mount 2 years ago and I finally found that person in Brian! Brian made Peanut feel comfortable from the minute they met and I was at ease because Brian provided updates and pictures regularly during Peanut’s stay. Peanut is 14 and does usually not do well with new people. Brian clearly has a way with animals. I highly recommend him!

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

100% of Nashville sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Nashville landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Nashville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
