“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! About: I have always taken care of sweet fur babies since I was a kid. They are man’s best friends!. I was always asked to watch the neighborhood animals, feed, walk, bathe and play catch or tug a war with them. I have taken care of animals of all kinds and can administer medicine or shots if needed. They always leave with a smile on their face and tail wagging. I am available 24/7 to give your animal lots of walks, love and play time. I will be by their side all day to give them lots of care and attention. About: I have had dogs my whole life ranging from 175 to 50 pounds. My family also breeds dogs so I’m comfortable with all ages. I have dog sat for numerous family and friends and love all animals so your pet will get treated as if they were my own. I’ve also took care of dogs that take medication, are on special diets. I have a full time job but I make my own schedule so I will base that off of my schedule with rover. Pets will be well taken care of and took on walks. If your pet is more laid back and likes to lay around all day then we will do that. If your pet has a lot of energy and like to run the we can do that as well. I have plenty of yard for your pet/pets to play. I currently don’t have any other animals in the house and am waiting for my puppy to be born! Your pet will be allowed on furniture unless that is a rule you have then I will not go against it. I have plenty of toys, dog beds, and crates if needed.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, up to three at a time. Over the years I’ve taken in many rescues and fostered dogs from time to time — big or small, young or old it doesn’t matter to me. I’ve also had cats throughout my life. Simply put, I’m an animal lover. Right now I have two dogs of my own, River and Bruiser (an 85lb beauceron and a 35lb true mutt, both rescues, who have traveled cross country with me. They hike, camp and swim but mostly love cuddles. I’m experienced giving medications when needed — oral meds, ear drops, you name it — and I’ve helped several dogs recover post-surgery. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, behaviors and sizes. I’m active and outgoing, so I love taking dogs for long walks. I work from home, so as long as there’s Wi-Fi, I’m happy to house-sit and hang out with your dogs or cats while I work. I’m also available for quick drop-in visits — walks, feeding, water, play, fetch, whatever’s needed. Flexible scheduling works fine for me. I work from home full time so I’m here with them all day. We typically go for three walks a day in addition to play time in the yard and most importantly lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I have a fenced yard where we play fetch, take the sun and play in the sprinklers. Dogs have free reign and are allowed on couches and beds.

About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. “As always, a wonderful walk. Cheryl is always so conscientious about Recon‘s health. On hot days, she always makes sure that she brings his water bottle and water dish on those walks. And she always checks the pavement if they have to cross pavement to make sure it’s not too hot for his paws. And she gives my old boy plenty of time to just lay and roll in the shade of a tree on the grass.”
About: I have helped take care of my own cats and dogs and have been trusted by multiple neighbors and friends for overnights and long weekends, including one dog with special medication and care needs. I am completing my bachelors degree online which allows me a very flexible schedule at this time. I am willing to do daily and will consider extended care if needed. About: I’ve taken care of puppies, older dogs, and cats for 4 years now. I love and care for each animal as if they are my own because I know how important a pet is to their family. About: I am a work from home mom who loves pet sitting. I started this journey a few years ago, and has had the privilege of hosting several dogs of all ages, personalities and sizes. My children absolutely love animals, especially dogs, so there will be lots of cuddles and love from us. I take dog sitting very seriously, so I am very careful, and I always aim to please my pet parents, so I am always sending pictures, videos, and making sure your baby is happy and well taken care of. I am big on staying fit and healthy, so I take daily walks to get my steps in. I am very accommodating, so nothing is ever too much for me. I’ve had pet parents ask me to scramble eggs for their fur babies and put it on top of their dog food, and I’ve also had pet parents tell me to only feed their fur baby with a spoon, so please don’t hesitate to ask for any special request, because I aim to please! I work from home during the week and I have lots of down-time allowing me to interact and play with your fur baby . I am off during weekends and holidays I have a big house with an unfenced yard, and a loving family that will play and love on your fur baby. We will take daily walks, play outdoors, and have lots of play time and cuddles.
About: I’m currently a veterinarian assistant who has a Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Tortishell Kitty, and a cute little bearded dragon. I’m experienced with administering medications and basic grooming. I’m a firm believer that all fur and furless babies deserve love and respect and I treat them all like my very own. I am a full time Veterinarian Assistant during weekdays, but I can still swing by and say hi to the little babies. I can board or home visit anytime during the weekends! I have a fenced in yard and a sweet German Shepherd who LOVES playing with pups and is extremely gentle with kitties. I also have the ability to keep pups or cats that might not be too happy with another dog in a separate area. I enjoy recording most of my interactions with fur babies and sending the videos to you!

“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I will definitely be booking with Ashley any time we are in the area.”
