About: I’ve had cats since I was a little girl. My first cat Tiger was my best friend growing up. Now I have my own fur baby, Copper. I’ve taken care of family and friends cats numerous times, even as young as four weeks old. I can give oral medications, baths, trim nails, keep litter boxes clean and can manually stimulate newborn kittens to use the bathroom.

About: I was adopted by my first cat in 2000 and have dog-and cat-sat for friends and co-workers ever since. Having moved to a farm 3 years ago, I’ve also cared for our neighbor’s horses, chickens, and guinea fowl. In general, I respect all pets' boundaries and love to find their individual personalities. I have a lot of experience with various temperaments and personalities, and am sensitive to the needs and quirks of every animal I meet. I've bottle-fed newborns, given oral medications (pills and liquid), applied topical ointments, and given fluid injections to cats with renal failure. I'll honor any preferences you have for caring for your cats (e.g., feeding times, fresh water daily, etc.). My wife and I have rescued and fostered cats for the last 10 years, so I’m familiar with a variety of health issues and quirky behaviors. And I scoop litters! At the moment I work remotely from home, so I can flex my schedule around any specific times you may need. Driving long distance is not a deal-breaker for me. Most of our cats are indoors but have access to a fenced-in portion of the back yard. We feed them wet food twice a day (morning and night) and snack them with dry food throughout the day. Each one gets playtime throughout the day, and the only "rules" are no cats on the kitchen counters. People have told us that when they die, they hope to come back as a cat we take care of. Given the number of cats we have, I'm unable to board any pets.

I live the Lake Royale community so have gate access. I live full time in my 38 foot Class A Motorhome until my cottage is done being built. About: I have had dogs pretty much my whole life. One of those dogs is turning 15 this year. I exercise often, and am generally very active, so I love going out on walks with my dogs. I’m currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your dogs, because of this I’m available basically every day of the week. I have a nice fenced in yard that I play with my two dogs in. My dogs mostly have free range of the downstairs, and of course are allowed on the furniture.

I can groom, trim nails, give medication, bathe, and even work on training on things such as leash walking if you would like that. “Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
