About: I’ve had dogs my entire life since I was a kid. I love dogs and my whole family is very dog friendly. I currently have two of my own dogs, Blizzard my 5 1/2 year old Goldendoodle and Boomer my 8 1/2 year old Beagle. These guys are my best friends! Since rescuing my Goldendoodle Blizzard, I’ve also learned to bathe & groom him, a special skill that takes practice and patience. Boarding Notes: I work from home, so I am able to take care of the dogs and be very flexible with their walking, feeding and bathroom needs. At my house, dogs are welcome on the furniture and on the bed at night but I will respect other owners obedience/rules while caring for their dogs. We have a lot of the room in the house which even has a fun room with toy mountain, a collection of hundreds of dog toys that everyone is welcome to play with! I have a big backyard but it is not fenced in. Instead, I prefer to walk the dogs on leashes/leads or attach them to the dog-run line I have running across the backyard for playtime! House Sitting Notes: I am more than happy to pack up and come stay at your home to watch your dog(s)! My only condition is that I would need to bring my two dogs with me for the house sitting stay. If this is something you would not allow, I will not be able to house sit for you. If you are open to this, we can discuss more about rules/regulations if I were to house sit for you to make sure you are fully comfortable with me and my two dogs staying in your home once you submit the request! Drop In Notes: I am happy to do drop in's to care for your dogs, instead of boarding them at my house. For drop in's, I would stop by 1 or 2 times each day for a length of time you request to play and care for your dogs. I would not stay overnight. I do this for families that would prefer their dogs stay in their own environment and not get boarded. You should only book this if your dog(s) can go 12 hours or more without a bathroom break. If your dog(s) cannot do that, I would strongly encourage you to board your dogs with me or request I house sit - either way I would make sure they are very comfortable and safe. I would love the opportunity to watch your dog(s) and can be flexible with short-term or long-term boarding, drop ins, house sitting - plus other accommodations. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and give them a lot of love and care for their entire stay! My services are worth the investment so you have peace of mind! If you are interested in my services, put a request in so we can plan everything out. I work from home, therefore I can accommodate many different types of schedules based on a dogs needs. Frequent walks, feeding or medication is no challenge throughout each day/night. Any dog who comes to stay with us will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. About: I’ve worked with animals ever since I was 15. I would take care of my neighbors, friends, and clients dogs or cats. Use to work at an animal hospital and also a boarding/daycare facility. About: Even as a kid, I was the primary caregiver for my childhood dog, Zoey. I took responsibility for making sure she was fed and watered, taking her for long walks and playing with her in our backyard. I knew that when I grew up, I would adopt a dog as soon as I could. A few months before I was discharged from the Marine Corps, I reached out to my hometown's local animal shelter about Baron. Baron was a 2-year-old, Boxer/Pit mix and from the moment I saw his picture, I knew he was going to be my boy. I called the shelter regularly to see if he was still there and let them know the day I could pick him up. I drove from my base in California to my Mom's house in Florida, dropped my stuff off, and immediately went to the shelter to adopt Baron. For the first few months I took him everywhere I went. All my friends and family knew that if Dan was coming, so was Baron. A few years after adopting Baron, I shared pictures of him with a girl I was talking to, and she immediately wanted to meet him. I took him for a walk with her and, as they say, the rest is history, she’s my wife. She brought two cats to the relationship, Teyla and Cara, and I eventually adopted a third cat, Ahsoka, with her. I cared for Baron together for 8 years. In 2022, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in his jaw, and we decided to try surgery, chemo and radiation. My wife and I got another 3 years with him, when the vet had told us he had 6 months to live. In 2025, his cancer returned, and he passed away just a few months before I got married. I spread some of his ashes at our wedding ceremony at one of the purest lakes in New Zealand and his name is engraved on our wedding bands. Shortly after saying goodbye to Baron, my wife and I adopted our fourth cat, Leia.
