We'd give John 10 stars if it were an option. He took magnificent care of our 2 boys. He sent multiple pics and videos every day. And went above and beyond by picking up our mail, dealing with Amazon deliveries, stripped and washed the sheets from the bed he slept in, and even cleaned the fridge! Hands down the best pet-sitter we've ever hired!!

Jeffrey has become our reliable sitter, regardless of the occasion, he is always willing to accommodate us. We breathe a sigh of relief, when we leave our pets with Jeff. They come home happy, well fed, and Jeff even takes the time to give them a bath! He also sends pictures through our trips, so we can see them everyday. 10/10 would recommend !

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my calm, attentive approach and my ability to tailor care to each pet’s unique needs. I focus on building trust with both pets and owners, so animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with puppies, including basic training reinforcement such as crate training, leash manners, potty routines, and positive-reinforcement commands. I’m patient and consistent, which helps young dogs learn good habits without stress. I also provide thoughtful senior pet care, including administering oral medications, following special diets, assisting with mobility, and closely monitoring behavior or health changes. I understand that older pets need extra patience, gentleness, and reassurance. In addition, I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your home. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is to care for your pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits seamlessly into my full-time routine, allowing me to provide reliable, consistent, and flexible care throughout the day. I structure my schedule around pet care responsibilities, so I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, as well as extended stays when needed. Because I do this full time, I’m able to accommodate regular feeding schedules, medication timing, playtime, walks, and check-ins without rushing. I can also adjust my availability for pets who need extra attention, such as puppies, seniors, or cats requiring medications or monitoring. My full-time commitment means your pet is a priority—not something I’m squeezing in before or after another job. This allows me to be dependable, responsive, and fully present, ensuring your pet receives consistent, high-quality care every day. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are at the center of how I care for pets. I follow each pet’s routine closely to reduce stress and help them feel secure, especially in their familiar environment. In a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding, medications, litter box or potty routines, and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, keep food and hazardous items out of reach, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I’m attentive to behavior changes and health concerns and will communicate immediately if anything seems off. I build trust by moving at the pet’s pace, using positive reinforcement, and providing gentle, consistent care—especially for shy, anxious, senior, or medically sensitive pets. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing. Overall, my goal is to create a safe, low-stress, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable, protected, and cared for as if they were my own.

Emily was a great pet sitter for our two large puppy dogs, a 1.5 yo husky mix and a 8 mo GSD. She clearly has a lot of experience and love for animals. Emily was very attentive to my instructions and our dogs warmed right up to her! She was prompt to respond to my texts and sent pictures of the dogs playing. We are all looking forward to having Emily pet sit again soon.

I am willing to take care of any of your pets for as long as you need. I take good care of my pets. I make sure that they are fed and water. Matthew was great!! We have a 5 month old vizsla puppy and he came and stayed at our house. He took Mater on long walks, always sent updates, photos, and videos. Mater was so happy when we got home, but also seemed like he missed his new friend! Matthew also cleaned the sheets, made the bed and washed all the towels. He kept the house very clean! Thank you so much!

About: Hi! My name is Jayla. I’m new to rover! I’m an online college student with a part-time job, and I’m looking to earn a little extra income doing something I genuinely enjoy — spending time with dogs. I’ve always had a love for animals and understand how important it is for pet owners to feel comfortable leaving their pets in good hands. I have two dogs of my own, Buddy, who is a Yorkie mix, and Bella, who is a Pit Bull mix, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Being a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care and affection I give my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to help make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Having 2 dogs of my own pet care is daily for me, I enjoy taking care of if my fur babies and giving them the best possible care I care for my clients pets as if they are my own, I make sure they get the proper attention and care they need to thrive and be happy

About: My expertise spans across all age groups, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. I understand the specific needs of each age group, whether it's providing gentle care and attention to senior dogs or engaging in lively play and training with puppies. I have a genuine love for dogs. I hope your dog can sense my kindness and affection, that will create a nurturing and comforting environment for them! Although I love playing and making sure dogs under my care are energetic and happy, I also love to relax at the end of the day with treats and cuddles! I do currently work at a Massage Envy, full time, as an assistant manager and esthetician. I know my schedule for 3 weeks out but rarely past that. As I transition into full time esthetician, I will have a more set schedule! I follow the pet's regular feeding, walking, and play schedules as instructed by the owner to maintain familiarity and comfort. I engage in interactive play sessions and provide companionship to alleviate any separation anxiety and keep the pet mentally stimulated. I respect the owner's guidelines regarding furniture use, sleeping arrangements, and any specific rules they have set for their pet.

About: I love help animals and their people. I am a vet tech but not working as one at the moment . I have had dogs,,cats ,snakes, lizards.turtles, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and a hedgehog (you name the critter I have owned it. I mean I raised 3 sons by myself, we had anything that moved)and can't image life without four footed baby around. I am willing to keep any sort of critter. My Aussies are therapy dogs My main one has passed over the rainbow bridge and is GREATLY MISSED, (she was 14) my current Aussies - I have 2 of them are....Smoke is 4 he started out as a therapy dog ,trained by Mystic and when Mystic died he become my service dog. Voodu is 3, he is a rescue that is working on being a back-up therapy dog/service dog. They are my babies and are very spoiled but also very trained(they are leash, voice and hand signal trained) I am your baby's willing slave if they are trained and well behaved, exceptions made for young puppies that are just learning to behave The dogs go out to play but with me, they are never alone and they stay in the house. My house is hard wood floors in the front rooms (carpet in bedrooms) and completely dog/cat friendly ,your baby is treated the same way at my place as they are at home. If you permit them on the bed they are allowed there here, if you crate I crate, I follow your wishes to the letter, but I will spoil your furry babies very much while they are at my place LOL both inside (playtime feeding breskfast, etc) and outside (potty breaks and playtime). My grown son lives with me and that is why your babies are never alone. I treat your babies like mine as their needs always come first. They are safe in my care always. They go outside as they need or want to. A potty break or play break ends for only 2 reasons 1) the babies all want to go in 2) the weather. Dogs and cats don't do well.with sudden changes in their life,so I try to make their stay here as much like their time at home as possible. I have worked with Rover since early 2000's .....well that is when I started getting paid for letting other people's babies sleep in my place but they always have been welcome to come and stay as long as they like. I have 2 cats that 1) were raised with dogs and 2) will not run from yours. In fact my youngest cat will play with your baby if the dog so wishes. My oldest is a Maine Coon who is king of the house (he loves dogs, being one himself) he will greet your baby then ignore them I used work as a dog trainer for PetSmart in Wilson (which is a 13 minute trip from my home) I no longer work there but I can and will do training with your baby if you would like me to.I do basic obedience or I can work on jumping, barking and recall lt woul depend on what you want train as price but training is never mote than 100 dollars. I am southern born and raised being rude is not allowed in my house at any time or was rudness allowed in any body human or dog. My backyard is fenced with 3 gates (2 of which are padlocked, I have the keys) All furry babies when going on a pottybreak or out for playtime are leashed from the time they go out my back door til they get inside my fenced yard with the gate closed. The return to house is done the same way. It is never more or less than 70.degrees in my house. This is the temperate my babies like best

About: Animals have always been my soft spot, I love them as if they were my own children, I have limitless patience, and just want to provide care, cleaning, love and friendship to your pets. I’ve been around and cared for dogs my entire life. Wether it be walks and playtime, cuddles, clean up messes, basic grooming, you name it and I’m up for it! I am a mother, with full weekday availability to extend my care from my babies to yours! I occasionally work as a music bingo host on the side. I currently live in an apartment, so I would be required to do in home care for your pets. I will follow any rules, guidelines, routines you have set for your pets!
