Even our shy pup, Kosita, warmed up to her fast. Our senior dog Natty has high needs (she is partially deaf, blind, diabetic, and requires insulin twice daily) and Mary handled everything with confidence and care. She kept us updated with photos and thoughtful check-ins, especially around Kosita’s eating. She was incredibly patient and even helped us discover a new trick to get her to eat. We came home to a clean house, a scooped yard, and happy pups. Most importantly, we were actually able to relax while away, which says everything. Trusting someone with our babies felt impossible at first, but we’re so grateful we found Mary. We’ve already asked her to pencil us in for our next trip and would highly recommend her… especially for pets that need extra care. Thank you !!”

It was the perfect example of why even with an automatic feeder it is important to have someone check on the animals. Skipper provided excellent communication and updates.”

About: I have worked in animal shelters. I have rescued stray and abused animals and helped located their owners and if I couldn't I kept them until they were ready to find a home. I am currently taking college courses to become an animal cop I want to continue to save the abused and neglected animals. I treat my pets like family. I have helped animals including babysitting in my home and at the residents for 18 years. I have worked at the animal shelter and volunteered there. My passion for animals has never changed. My kids also love animals. They have sat and watched animal cops with me and they say to me mommy we need to help them they need a family. It's sweet seeing my kids feeling the same passion as I do. I am a stay at home mom I do babysit kids during the week. I make sure all dogs get exercise while in my home. I have one 12 year old dog I allow all the animals to free roam unless I start seeing some aggression then I do separate bathroom times and things.

I always use a leash or go outside with the fur baby if there is a fenced in yard. I never leave them alone.

About: I’ve walked and cared for my families dogs and cats since i was young, i’ve always loved animals and having the chance to care for new pets is really fun. im currently working part time, mostly nights so i have a lot of free time during the day and afternoon. im also free every other weekend in my home, i feed my cats twice a day and make sure they are played with and loved on. And unfortunately right now, one of my cats is having tummy issues so i do know how to administer medications if needed.

About: I have always grown up with at least one pet in my household. I lost my Bichon Frisé of 15 years in October of 2019. It was really tough on my family and I because for the last five years of his life, he was a special needs dog. Because of this, I have first hand experience with insulin injections, pill giving, and post-operational care taking. In February of 2020, we welcomed a black labradoodle puppy named Millie into our family. She is very energetic and friendly with other dogs. In August of 2020, we also welcomed Millie's baby brother from a different litter, Jack. In my house I will have two dogs at all times so any other dog I am blessed to look after will need to be familiar with other dogs. As you can tell, I live a very dog-friendly lifestyle. I work as a retail manager at a dog grooming salon 4-5 days a week. With enough notice, I can dedicate days to caring for your pup! I have my own car for transportation which I can use to take dogs to parks or other locations at the owners request. I have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and a separate area with a fenced in pool. I like to keep water out at all times for my own dogs and they get fed twice a day. I am able to follow different feeding schedules for each individual dog.
