About: 🐾 About Me Pets aren’t just pets — they’re family. ❤️ I’m a military spouse and lifelong animal lover. Before being stationed in North Carolina, I spent six years working at an animal hospital in Rhode Island, where I worked as a veterinary assistant, cared for animals in the kennel, and provided dog-sitting services. I truly understand how much our pets mean to us because I feel the same way about mine. I’ll treat your furry family members with the same love, patience, attention, and care I would want for my own. Whether they need playtime, cuddles, a walk, or simply someone to keep them company, I’d love the opportunity to care for them while you’re away. Your pets will be treated like family in my care. 🐾❤️ I work from home, so I have the flexibility for daily visits with plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles. I’ll care for your dogs and cats with patience, love, and lots of attention while you’re away. ❤️🐶🐱 Your home is your pets safe space, I'll treat it with the same care and respect I'll give your pets. During checkins, walks or playtime I will keep a close eye on their safety and follow your routines and instructions.

Kelly was absolutely amazing with our pup( Pitbull/oversized lap dog). She was flexible with our needs and she stayed true on her punctuality. She even was able to clip our pups nails which is a god send. If we weren’t moving, Kelly would be our go to Rover. THANK YOU!

About: I am a retired teacher and dog Momma of four furbabies. I've been a dog Momma for over 30 years. My love for animals, especially dogs, runs deep. I've cared for small dogs, like my tea cup Yorkie, and large dogs, like my Siberian Husky who weighs over 100 lbs. I'm known for spoiling my dogs with lots of love and I'll spoil yours too. I've recently left teaching and have a very flexible schedule. I am available with prior notice, full time, any day of the week. I'm a grandmom so I'm even available on Holidays. In caring for your pets I will follow all feeding instructions, make sure fresh water is available in clean bowls and I will make sure to show them affection and playtime.

About: I’ve been a dog owner most of my life! Currently, I own two dogs and I treat them like children. I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 12. My family and friends would ask me to watch, feed, walk and play with their dog when out of town. I work from home so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am available for weekend boarding, drop off anytime. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs that can play with your fur baby. I have a crate for your fur baby if needed.

Sara was wonderful at communication, respecting the house rules and accountability. She got the initial drop in visit start time wrong, but she took accountability and fixed it right away. It's totally fine that mistakes happen, and Sara handled it very professionally. She also posted updates per drop-in with photos, and did call us when health concerns arise like we requested. I would highly recommend her service to others as a very trustworthy sitter. I would 100% book with her again!

About: Hi, I’m Evie and I’m excited to offer pet-sitting services through Rover! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve even had the opportunity to work at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. As a military wife, I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust when you’re away from home. I’m dedicated, responsible, attentive, and committed to treating every pet in my care like family. 🐶🐱 One of the benefits I offer is a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Whether your fur baby needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help! 🐾💕 Your pets deserve to feel safe, loved, and cared for—and I’d be honored to be their person while you’re away. 📍 Book with me on Rover.com 🐾 Message me with any questions! I’m currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care after your loved ones whenever you need me! I’m just a phone call or text message away!! I have a puppy and two cats of my own. Willing to learn and help however I can. I’m very flexible and can’t wait to play with your fur babies!

About: I have had my doggy since I was 17! She has been with me through a lot! I love animals and enjoy meeting new ones and bonding with them! Sometimes I have a really flexible schedule and can work with whatever your schedule needs may be. My schedule can change from week to week. So it’s best to reach out. I typically am free most days during the day. Late nights can be arranged. Child free home. I have 1 dog and 1 cat. The cat will be separate from other animals. She likes to stay in her space.

Brianna was an excellent caregiver for our fur babies. She was easy to communicate with, sent pics during visits and followed instructions that we left. We appreciate her time and care while we were gone. It made it easier to enjoy our time away knowing someone responsible was there to take care of our kitties. We would definitely use her again!

As of September 2026, there are 1,607 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Kenly. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Kenly stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kenly. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
