“Emily was such a great help! We needed someone to walk our dog while we were away for a wedding and our pup Lou was happy and healthy when we returned. This was our first time working with Emily, but she coordinated a meet and greet earlier in the week to meet us and get the details for taking care of Lou. We will definitely use Emily again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken dog training courses over the years. I did dog rescue; I had sick dogs, litters of puppies and dogs of all sizes in my home while raising my children and my dogs. I've done house sitting, walking, training for dogs and cats for years when I lived in California. I'm excited to meet you and your pets. I am comfortable with but not limited too walking, training, medication administration and always the addition of cuddles and love. I work for myself and work my own hours so I can always work around your schedule. I love the outdoors, nature and getting my steps in. When your pet is in my house, they'll be treated as a family member. If you prefer to crate your pet I can do that or create my dog. Pet safety is top priority at all times.

About: I've always had pets in my family ever since I was little. I've owned 2 cats and 2 dogs that I have fed, bathed, taken care of, and loved. And, I have helped take care of plenty of my friends and neighbors pets when they need it. I am a college student and I have most of my classes in the morning, and have availability to let your pet out around every 3-4 hours. I am very much a home body so if I'm house sitting and not in class I'll be hanging out with your pet. I treat all pets as if they are my own, and I am happy to accommodate any special needs your pet has while they are in my care

About: I’ve had a Basset hound and a Weimaraner over 15 years. I’ve owned 4 extremely well behaved, adjusted, and playful cats for over 20 years. I have open availability to take care of your fur baby while you’re away. Im active and have love playing fetch with dogs, and going on walks. I love cats - they’re so curiously entertaining! I can bathe your dogs, play an excellent round of fetch, give them lots of love an attention while I’m visiting. Cats: play toys, scratchpads, shoestrings, balls w bells, and brushing, when they prefer. I’ve got lots of dog toys- balls, chew bones, frisbees squeaky toys. I gave away my dog harnesses, but still have my retractable leash. If they like going out on the town, I love going to pet smart to just look around and pick out a toy. They have pup cups at Pelicans- if their sugar is under control, and then go to dog park, or just playing and keeping him company in the home. I’m very good at attending to both dogs & cats. I do not spank ( with my hand or an object, like a newspaper) or hit animals, nor use a water sprayer to punish animals if they’ve done something wrong. I use redirection and a stern tone and shake my finger at them. They usually respond well to that. Then when I see them doing the right thing I reward them with enthusiastic positive talk. For bigger issues, I always have treats in my pocket, using instant gratification to regain their attention.

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I am confident and comfortable with all ages and temperaments. Growing up, I cared for multiple pets at once (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.) I also spent time helping out on farms. Therefore, I am no stranger to routine, responsibility or muddy paws! What truly sets me apart is that my mom is a veterinarian, which gives me 24/7 access to expert guidance if an emergency or health question/concern arises. In addition, during my Marine Corps service, I have done dog sitting at the U.S. Embassy in Botswana, where dependability was key. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in cybersecurity. Therefore, I am currently dedicating my time to my studies, which affords me the freedom to care for your pets anytime. Pet safety is my top priority. Whether I am watching your pets in your home or caring for them in mine, I keep all harmful foods and household items out of reach. Additionally, we only use veterinarian-approved treats and toys (with a vet in the family, I don't guess when it comes to safety). Your pets will get plenty of supervised playtime and outdoor activity, along with a calm structured environment to help them feel more at home. I am very respectful in others' homes and will always follow your care instructions to the letter, including feeding, routines, and any special needs or quirks.

About: I grew up always having a pet in the home and have been pet and house sitting independently since I was in high school. I currently have two dogs of my own and have experience taking care of others dogs of all sizes, cats, and even guinea pigs! I’m all about making pets feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s teaching a playful puppy new tricks, keeping up with high-energy zoomies, or giving extra snuggles and TLC to senior pets, I’ve got you covered. I treat every furry friend like they’re my own, and I love tailoring care to their unique personalities and needs. From belly rubs to long walks, I’m here to make sure your pet has the best time ever! I work in in-home therapy services so my schedule changes weekly and is fairly flexible. With me being on the road going from home to home for sessions it makes it easy for me to just pop by your home to check on your fur baby or let them on a short walk! I have reliable communication skills and can call, text, and send you pictures to update you as I am watching your pet to ensure they are in the best care! I will always ensure they are safe and secure if walking on leash and keep an eye on them at all times in and out of the home.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13. Most of my experience is with cats and dogs. I have limited experience with snakes. I'm not afraid of spiders or bugs. I'm currently working full-time as a legal assistant, so I'm usually only available during the evenings and weekends. I'm usually home from work at around 6 pm and am available until 9 pm during the week. Fridays and Saturdays are generally open unless I have prior obligations. I don't work on Sundays. I can only pet sit at a clients home due to having 2 cats of my own. I go by whatever rules/guidelines they specifically have for me.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs of every kind my entire life, I have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy working with dogs because I am an outdoor person who likes to go for runs and walks. I have been relied on by my friends and neighbors to come and spend time, feed, and walk their pets. I am currently enrolled at Catawba College, getting my masters degree, while competing on the beach volleyball team. All my classes are online and practice ranges from 7-8am, 11am- 1pm, and 5-6pm, but vary through the week. I have a fenced-in backyard for my 2-year-old Lab and I make sure that we keep the bedroom doors closed so I can always keep my eye on them.

About: Hello, I have loved animals since I was a little girl. I have been surrounded by animals all my life and I feel we share a special connection when we are together. For me, dogs and cats are the best companions and friends that we can have. They always deserve the best care and love. I have had the opportunity to be surrounded by these lovely creatures for the majority of my life. At home I had 6 dogs, rabbits, cats, ducks, horses, turtles, and even some hamsters. I loved each and every one of them. I would be happy to take care of your pet and give him as much love as he needs. I would be thrilled to play, take walks, and go to the beach with your special family member. Animals will forever be my number one love.

I am very flexible with my availability! I would love to get to know your furry friend and be apart of their world♥️ I’m currently looking for some side gigs to fill up my time.. I couldn’t think of a more awesome way to do it than to be around pets! Making your pets comfortable and happy is my top priority! I like to let animals be animals and do what they like to do. Caring for pets has always been one of my favorite things to do. I can’t remember a time where I didn’t own a pet.

About: Hi, I've been caring for dogs well over 18 years, first as a Canine Therapist, a re-socializer (yup that's my word for it), and personal doggie chef of all things. I've rehabbed every size dog imaginable, a Dachshund with a severe spinal surgery from paralyzation, to Great Danes with limited hip mobilization. Currently, I have Joy 🐶 by my side (in the photos). She's the sweetest dog I've ever met - who indeed rescued me. I was meeting family for dinner one night, oddly three hours early (weird I know!). There wasn't a Starbucks in sight, yet, I drove by the local humane society a few times. I drove in and sat in the parking lot for a long time, contemplating. I just put down my third dog in a row six months prior. It felt that I was ready again. You see, I value peace and love on this planet, and absolutely include our fur-babies as an integral part of this vision. I walked in, saw a lot, and then our eyes met, we kissed through the glass door, and I was hooked (and rescued). I took Joy home and she's been the best dog-daughter I could have ever asked for. She has no health concerns or dietary issues at all, although, she does get a lot of hands on massages, and yes I do cook for her. She gets along with every dog she's ever met, loves to play, and I exercise her very well. I am also offering: 🐾 K9 Therapy & Relaxation Treatments 🐾 Anti-Anxiety Massage 🐾 Neuromuscular Massage 🐾 Gentle Acupressure & Energy Work 🐾 Non-Evasive Joint, Hip & Spine Health 🐾 Spa Treatments 🐾 Nutritional Consultations 🐾 Personal Meal Planning 🐾 Cooking & Meal Prep It is my passion to help the K9 (and Human) collective by bringing a much needed resolve, relief and healing, especially those with PTSD. This is built upon a holistic & integrated approach of Mindful Therapy to elevate natural movement, which is proven to bring the K9 Psycho-Physiology & Psycho-Spiritual back to wholeness & oneness. I have a Master's Degree in Ayurvedic Science (India's medical practice), with a second Master's Degree in Buddhist Psychology, focusing on spiritually oriented contemplative healing modalities from Yogic and Buddhist philosophies as they intersect with Western psychology. I'm certified in the Canine Bowen Technique, and have also studied with Duke University, Dog Emotion and Cognition; and with The University of Edinburgh on Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I currently work from home, so any daily needs or loneliness is inherently resolved. Due to the nature of my work as an Alternative Health Practitioner, Multi-Modality Therapist, and now creating my own Apothecary, I am home a lot, and rarely go out except for hikes, social time, and Jiu Jitsu. My home is ideal for pet guests, it has the space, and I live on a very quiet cul de sac with a huge yard. I'm also literally 1 mile from Fletcher park where I walk or jog Joy daily. I work from home in Salisbury until 6. I can take midday breaks for walks and visits. I typically do training in the evening and weekends. I prioritize a calm, respectful environment where dogs feel safe and seen. In your home, I maintain your dog’s routine, reinforcing familiar cues and boundaries with care. In my home, I offer a peaceful space with close supervision, structured downtime, and positive interactions. I approach every dog with patience, emotional attunement, and a deep respect for their comfort, building trust at their pace—never rushed, always compassionate.

About: I have lived with more then two dogs my entire life. I have grown up loving my dogs then most people. I have always wanted to be the old "cat lady" minus the cat, add the dogs. I believe dogs are our spirit animal. They are the most loving creatures. My ex and I adopted our very first dog together almost four years ago. Her name is Kora. We have fully trained her in German commands. She is so smart and loving and loyal. She is great with other dogs and has also learned to help take care of other dogs! I get up the same time every day and have a set schedule on each dog. I like to make there’s physical activity each day as well. That’s super important I have a dog park two min from my apartment, I have comfy spots in the house for them to chill and yummy dog treats

About: All my life I have been around animals, big and small. I currently have a small/medium dog named Cass that is from the pound that is very people friendly and high energy. I have 2 cats named Annabelle and Agatha, Annabelle is a calico that is very skittish but loves attention and is an indoor loving kitty. Agatha is a tortoiseshell cat that is a hunter at heart, she definitely loves roaming the property and is very independent. I am going on 7+ years of taking care of cats and dogs from different breeds, sizes, and specific needs. I am very adaptable and patient with animals. You can be confident that your pet is safe with me! Currently, I am working full time as a Marketing/Brand Manager so I am very flexible with my schedule and I try my best to be accommodating to your pet needs. I am very active and able to take your animals for long walks to activate all their senses and get my steps in with them! Later in the fall I will be continuing my education so my availability will be changing as it nears! I will ensure that your fur babies are safe with me while I’m entering your home making sure outside doors are locked and closed after entering and exiting your home.

About: I have had a deep passion for dogs since childhood, beginning pet care at the age of 7 with my own pets, as well as those of neighbors and family friends. My experience in the field grew through opportunities at Petsmart, Banfield Pet Hospital, and Mooresville Animal Hospital, where I was able to express my compassion for animals, particularly dogs, while providing attentive care and support. As a full-time student with a Monday through Friday work schedule, I manage my time to ensure pets receive proper care throughout the day. I typically leave for work around 7:45 AM and return by 4:30 PM. During my workday, I take advantage of my breaks to let dogs out, ensuring they have the attention and care they need while I’m away. On weekends, when I am off from work, I dedicate additional time to provide more focused care. I prioritize compassion and attentive supervision when caring for pets, ensuring they are comfortable and safe at all times. I keep pet owners connected by sending regular updates, including pictures and videos, to provide peace of mind while they are away. I offer boarding services for up to three animals at a time but can accommodate individual pets for an additional fee if preferred. My goal is to create a positive and caring environment for your pet, whether in my home or yours.

Daneea G.
“Daneea took very good care of Bunz for a weekend. Bunz had a itchy stomach so she recommended some at home remedies (THAT WORKED) to soothe him while I was away.
