We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. If your dog enjoys spending time outside like mine, I’d be happy to accommodate that upon request. For safety and comfort, I also have a crate available and can crate your dog or mine as needed.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, from growing up with multiple large farm dogs to now taking care of my small dachshund–chihuahua mix. Being around such a wide range of sizes and personalities has made me really adaptable and confident with different types of dogs. What sets me apart is my patience and attention to each pet’s individual needs. I have experience caring for senior dogs and pets that need extra support, including giving medications like pills, eye drops, and ear drops. I’m also very mindful of routines, knowing how important consistency is for keeping pets comfortable and stress-free. About: I am a mother and it is obvious in the way I care for dogs it comes naturally and doesn't feel like work. Also, I am friendly, upbeat, and enjoy spending time with dogs. Currently, I am a bar captain for a Broadway theater. So my availability is mostly in the afternoons, and late nights. Over my lifetime, I have had many dogs. All were rescued dogs who suffered from tremendous abuse. With that lasting trauma, trust and behavioral issues are common and for which I have the patience for. In addition to my personal experiences with dogs coming from special circumstances, most of my dogs have been medium to large breeds, and many of those were scent hounds. Which means you have to indulge some curiosities, all while staying mindful of safety. About: I worked as a kennel technician at a boarding/daycare facility for over a year so I have seen firsthand how stressful those environments can be despite how social you think your dog might be with others. Dogs have always been one of my special interests since I was very little, I have plenty of experience taking care of senior dogs and puppies, and I am comfortable taking care of any breed/temperament. I have no problem if you spam me for pictures of your pup and I love sending constant updates and pics! I know how stressful it can be not to have your dog in your own care so no request is too small. I am a full-time college student studying environment and zoology, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I have full class schedule throughout the week and it changes per semester, don’t let that stop you from reaching out! I will take a look at any request and see if I can make them work. The more specific you are the better. If I have even the tiniest question I will not hesitate to reach out, I want your dog to be as close to there typical environment/schedule as possible so they are comfortable. Saftey is the big priority for me when caring for your pup, your dog will never be put in an unsafe situation by me. I am comfortable with emergency aid if necessary and I have transportation if your dog needs to be taken to a veterinarian.

About: I have had and taken care of dogs for years. We have done quite a bit of pet sitting for family dogs over time. 🚗 I love dogs and they respond very well to me. This is been a long time dream to be able to host dogs in my home. I am a semi-retired Notary Signing Agent for the state of NC, so I am able to pick and choose the contracts. This allows me to make the Daycare and Boarding a priority. . ! Having other dogs playing with our now “Big Guy”, just helps him to be more social and keeps him very active as well. I have a nice fenced in yard for play, and a well laid out home for comfort. I also have extensive knowledge in taking care of dogs in a very safe and secure manner.

About: I have loved animals since a young age. I currently have 1 fur babies of my own, and have taken joy and helping others with there pets since I was 13. Volunteering at a local vet. Being a foster for ASPCA placement pups and adopting rescue pups as well! I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. Comfortable with dogs needing extra care and regular meds. About: I’ve had a Basset hound and a Weimaraner over 15 years. I’ve owned 4 extremely well behaved, adjusted, and playful cats for over 20 years. I have open availability to take care of your fur baby while you’re away. Im active and have love playing fetch with dogs, and going on walks. I love cats - they’re so curiously entertaining! I can bathe your dogs, play an excellent round of fetch, give them lots of love an attention while I’m visiting. Cats: play toys, scratchpads, shoestrings, balls w bells, and brushing, when they prefer. I’ve got lots of dog toys- balls, chew bones, frisbees squeaky toys. I gave away my dog harnesses, but still have my retractable leash. If they like going out on the town, I love going to pet smart to just look around and pick out a toy. They have pup cups at Pelicans- if their sugar is under control, and then go to dog park, or just playing and keeping him company in the home. I’m very good at attending to both dogs & cats. I do not spank ( with my hand or an object, like a newspaper) or hit animals, nor use a water sprayer to punish animals if they’ve done something wrong. I use redirection and a stern tone and shake my finger at them. They usually respond well to that. Then when I see them doing the right thing I reward them with enthusiastic positive talk. For bigger issues, I always have treats in my pocket, using instant gratification to regain their attention.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs of every kind my entire life, I have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy working with dogs because I am an outdoor person who likes to go for runs and walks. I have been relied on by my friends and neighbors to come and spend time, feed, and walk their pets. I am currently enrolled at Catawba College, getting my masters degree, while competing on the beach volleyball team. All my classes are online and practice ranges from 7-8am, 11am- 1pm, and 5-6pm, but vary through the week. About: I’ve had animals ever since I was 2 but I had to give up my German Shepherd and Yorkie due to sports. So now I have my best friend, and aunts dog I play with and can keep when I have time . On Sundays I have church so I won’t be able to pupsit. On Saturday I’m free most of the day and the weekdays. I am also a part time babysitter! I make sure the Dog is well fed. About: I have had a deep passion for animals my entire life. My mom worked in a veterinary ER clinic in my home state of South Carolina and would bring me to work to help take care of the patients and boarders on weekends through my high school years. My aunt is a dog trainer who I also shadowed. I have fostered several dogs through their adoption process, from a puppy chihuahua to a senior Great Dane. I’m comfortable with giving medications, post operative care, and much more. Neighbors, friends, and family have all entrusted me with the care of their dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and even fish (they need to eat while their people are away too!). I have taken some time away from Rover for a few years while working on my career, and moved across country to be closer to family, along with starting my own. We now have settled in Rowan County, NC and I am looking to help out fellow pet parents again! I would be available to come by on any day of the week from the times of 7-11am, 1-3pm and 6-9pm. I am pretty open during the day, these are time frames that I would be available for walks, drop in visits, feedings, etc. If other / additional times are needed we can chat and probably make it work. I keep all doors to outside closed and locked while in the home so no escapes are possible. The collar will be fitted properly and each walk will be leashed.

About: I am a full time dog mom who has been blessed to have worked for a vets office doing daycare and boarding while I was in college, and found my way back to the animal world as a full time vet assistant for 6 years. I also started pet sitting for clients and friends a few years ago as favors and it has grown into years of house sitting either in my home or theirs. I love each pet as my own while understanding their different quirks and needs, while my training in the veterinary world allows me to medicate and take care of special needs babies if I need to.
