“Outstanding experience with Pat. I had her stay at the house and watch the dog. It is the first time I’ve done that. It was a game changer. In no small part due to the care and precaution Pat took. She came by in advance to get to know my dog and how the house worked. She asked all the right detailed questions. Things I hadn’t thought of! And then at time of transition, she ran through and tested that everything worked as she thought. Pat kept me informed both days. Made me aware of anything of concern. Inn this case GI distress on one of his walks which is not uncommon for Marvel on first day of someone new. But I sure was pleased she let me know and she let me know that it cleared by a later walk. Pat seemed unflappable, capable and careful. My dog liked her a lot as some of the pictures we of my dog having a great time. Plus he was great when I returned as was the house and plants. I will definitely book Pat again. .”

About: As a child, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As an adult, I have vast experience caring for animals. For 25 years, I did pet sitting and house sitting in the Boston area before moving to Puerto Rico 13 years ago. The first month I lived there, I found a box of kittens in the road. I have been a rescuer since, being one of few who take on the most challenging cases. I have saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats over the years and I have seen it all. Nothing intimidates me or grosses me out. I will give baths, dispense medications, clean up accidents, whatever is needed. I am 58 years old and am very reliable and trustworthy. I am 58 years old and do not work anymore so my availability is wide open. I do sometimes go to Puerto Rico where I am in the process of selling my home but the dates for those trips are flexible. I generally find that caring for pets in their own home is ideal as they really do appreciate routine, stability, and a familiar environment. However, I am certainly willing to care for them in my home as well and offer a fully fenced in back yard for dogs. There is an 11 lb dog at my house but he is used to cats and dogs coming and going so he should not pose a problem (or I can separate them, if preferred). In terms of routine, I am willing to adapt to whatever you have established and have no problem with giving medications, baths, or any other special care needed. With 13 years of rescuing in Puerto Rico and 25 years of pet care before that, I have seen it all (and nothing grosses me out!). If you like frequent updates and photos, no problem. If you like to relax and not think about home when you are away, no problem. Your beloved pets are in safe, loving hands.
