But Anna was very friendly on the phone and she brought her dog Spencer outside to meet Pippa as opposed to bringing her inside right away and incite any territorial issues. Pippa is only 5 lbs so she was a little intimidated by her bigger dog at first. Spencer wanted to play of course bit soon gave Pippa her space. Anna sent us photo updates everyday and we saw the progression of Pippa, Spencer and their cat ultimately being friends. Spencer even gave up his bed for Pippa to use. What a great host! We were very happy with Anna and the gang for welcoming Pippa into their home. We weren't sure that Anna wanted to give her back to us. LOL ?”
