“Robb and his kids were AMAZING!!! We chatted before booking to make sure he was great fit. He made sure to understand our dog and took the time to make his stay comfortable. He gave our dog tons of exercise, which is hard to do, and respected his very fickle boundaries. We got daily updates and our dog looked so comfortable in all the photos he sent. They gave him so much love, care, and treated him like family. It was the best experience we have EVER had on this app- and we’ve had a lot!”

“Excellent communication. Just top notch communication. Which is key for making sure it's all a good fit. They sent us updates and pictures during our dogs stay, which we really liked. I highly recommend their services.”

“From the moment we dropped our dog off, we felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. We received updates and photos daily. Definitely will use Chelsey again to board our dog. Great experience!!”

“My wife and I have used Ally and Trevor several times and we are very happy with them. Our dog gets very excited when we arrive at her house and seems to be excited to be there. We will continue to use Ally and Trevor in the future.”

“Lindsey took such great care of our nervous, anxious poodle while we were out of town. Our travel plans changed a bit and she was very flexible. She communicated with us about how our dog was doing and sent pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. She gave our dog the love and cuddles she needed to feel comfortable in a new environment.”

“Kara takes such good care of our dog. Kara has watched her several times and each time we come back our dog is so excited to see her family, which lets me know they are doing a great job. We are so grateful to Kara!”

“Courtney and her family were amazing! This was our first time with them. Our dog often seems anxious after we pick him up from boarding, but he was great this time. Thank you Courtney. Hopefully you’ll have Tucker over again next time.”

“Cinthya did a wonderful job taking care of our boy. She sent many photos and videos and made me feel at ease! He had a great time and was absolutely exhausted. We would definitely book with her in the future!”

“Avery was wonderful to work with. She was very accommodating and gave us regular updates and photos of our pup. Our Bernedoodle was perfectly content and happy when we picked him up. We will 100% use Avery again.”

“My dog stayed with Mark and Corrie for the first time yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier. He’s new to having a dog sitter and tends to be anxious, but they were absolutely wonderful with him. They were kind and patient, kept me updated, and really took the time to start building trust with him. I truly appreciate the care they showed and will definitely be booking with them again. Highly recommend!”

“It was a great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend anyone to have her watch their dog. Most definitely will be using her if I need someone to watch my dog again”

“Maddie and Sam were awesome! Maddie sent lots of pictures throughout the days we were gone and you could tell our pup was very loved. I would definitely book with them again!!”

“Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! We had driven there from Texas for a family reunion and just couldn't have her during the reunion. Our pup had been on edge due to a new environment for the 2 days we had been in town before dropping her off with Stephanie. As soon as we saw Stephanie interact with our dog, all of our worries disappeared! Our dog instantly relaxed and just started running and playing! Our dog is also a Rottweiler, and a lot of people are nervous around that breed when first meeting them. I didn't see that at all with Stephanie and her family, and I honestly believe that their demeanor contributed to our dog being able to relax! During our reunion, we received 5+ photos every day as well as updates! Our baby was so happy there! Multiple walks during the day and her kids just loved wearing her out!! Our girl was treated like one of their family members the whole time! We will 100% book with her again in the future when we come out again!”

“Samson had SO much fun with ashtyn and her dog. I got updates from her daily which I appreciated. She took him on hikes and my dog seemed so happy when we picked him up. Will definitely be using her again to watch Samson!”

“Chelsea is THE best! My pup is always happy to go and happy when I pick him up. He is well cared for and Chelsea is great at letting me know how he is doing. 100% recommend.”

“Ashley is super responsive and my dog has great fun when he stays with her. My biggest worry is that Sultan (my dog) has more fun at her house, playing with her dogs, than he does at my house.”

“Wow wow wow!! This was our first time ever using Rover and finding Crystal was such a blessing! From the moment we met her she was so caring and thoughtful about how our dog, Archer, would react to being dropped off at a random house. She made sure he was comfortable. I know he had an absolute blast for the 10 days he spent with her. When we picked him up he smelled so good and had a Halloween bandana on! 🥹 highly recommend her and will be using her going forward when we need someone to watch him!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Payson
Valentina is the best! I absolutely will be a repeat client! She let me look around the space when I dropped off my dog, and let me get my dog settled before I left. My dog has a chicken allergy, and she made sure my dog didn't eat any of the other dog's food. She responded quickly to my messages and sent me pictures throughout my trip. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times, and my dog had so much fun in her care! I highly recommend Valentina :)

I could not be any happier with the care and love from Chere and Bronson that they’ve shown my dog. They put my dogs needs first and from all the pictures he looks like he was apart of their family. I was at ease as soon as I saw at home he was. I would definitely use again.

As of June 2026, there are 705 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Payson. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
98% of Payson sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Payson landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Payson home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Payson.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Payson sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
