About: Talley’s House has two adults that work from home, two teenage dog loving sons, and two pups, Talley (12+) and Oz (2) that love to meet and play with new friends! We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. See the safety, trust & environment section for details. 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. treats and training followed by quiet time in kennels 4:00 - 6:00 p.m interactive playtime round 2 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. evening feeding and quiet time in kennels 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. final playtime and bedtime routine (treats and training) 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. bedtime in kennels We prefer pickup/dropoff times between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m or 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. so we can devote time to helping the dogs adjust to the environment and their temporary pack. The only thing we need from you at drop off is their food in a ZIPLOC w INSTRUCTIONS WRITTEN on it. If needed, bring a small blanket or toy with the scent of home. We do NOT need beds, food dishes, or leash. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

About: I have had pets all my life, dogs, cats, hamsters, birds. You name it, I have probably had it. I love all pets but especially dogs! I have taken all the dogs I have own to training and love being with them. I own 2 dogs now. 1 is named Koda and she is a full golden retriever and the other is Lucy, she is a Golden retriever/ Lab mix. They are indoor lovable dogs. I believe that dogs are apart of the family, so in my house they are allowed to be on the furniture to cuddled with! I am a stay at home mom and have 2 dogs. Your dogs will be walked (when it is not crazy hot out) Loved on and played with while you are away! I am happy to send daily pictures of your pups if you would like! I have a fenced yard for them to play in. A crate for your pups bed if you are more comfortable with them in one rather than on a bed or couch. I have 2 dogs for yours to play with and 3 kids, aged 11,13 and 15 who love and respect dogs. I love to play fetch with dogs and other games. We even have a small splash pool for the dogs to play in.

About: Hi! 🐾💕 Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around dogs since the day I was born, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I know just how much our pets mean to us because I’ve always considered my own pets family. I’ve cared for other people’s dogs as well as my own, including administering medication when needed. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. A little about my home: I have a fenced backyard where your pup can enjoy some fresh air and playtime, and dogs are welcome on the furniture! I want your fur babies to feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home rather than like they’re staying somewhere unfamiliar. 🏡🐶 I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your pup can enjoy my attention without having to share the home with other resident animals. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention, affection, and care. Whether your dog needs walks, drop-in visits, daytime company, or a cozy place to stay while you’re away, I’ll do my best to make sure they feel loved and cared for every step of the way. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll treat your furry family member with the same love, patience, and kindness I’d want someone to give my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! ❤️🐾 I was recently laid off from my job, so I have nothing but free time to care for your pet. I do have two kids that I take to school and pick up from school, other than that my schedule is very flexible. ❤️🐾 I can provide one on one dog care, as I don’t currently have pets in my home. I have a fenced back yard that overlooks a horse pasture, and great walking areas that are away from a busy street.

Each one of them have their own personalities and it's so much fun to learn about them. I have 2 dogs currently, Waffles and Biscuit. Waffles is great with new friends and loves to sun bathe and Biscuit is always down for some playtime. I'm excited to have your baby come stay with us and happy to take care of them while you are away! I work from home and have plenty of time to give potty breaks, play and give loves. Happy to send updates as much as you would like as well as send pictures. We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. My two dogs love going out to sun bathe and play fetch.

About: We have been married for 10+ years now and have a 4 young kids. in 2020 we got our little Penny (shihtzu/wiener dog/chihuahua mix) and since then our kids have been obsessed with dogs. Clayton had a long haired dachshund from the time he was born till he was 16 and has loved dogs his whole life. We have a large fenced in backyard that’s any small/medium sized dogs dream. We have a large fenced in backyard and energetic kids that love playing with dogs! Our little Penny is very easy going once she gets comfortable and loves playing with our next door neighbors dogs. Penny is very easy going and during the day we just let her roam in and out of the house. At night she sleeps in her crate inside a dark closet. We have plenty of room to accommodate whatever your dogs sleeping needs are. Clayton works full time with weekends off and Aubrey is a stay at home mom, so we always have somebody at the house. So if we do leave the house for any reason, your dogs won’t be left for long periods of time! We have a large fenced in backyard and energetic kids that love playing with dogs! Our little Penny is very easy going once she gets comfortable and loves playing with our next door neighbors dogs. Penny is very easy going and during the day we just let her roam in and out of the house. At night she sleeps in her crate inside a dark closet. We have plenty of room to accommodate whatever your dogs sleeping needs are.
