About: I started volunteering at a pet shelter when I was 13, and I’ve been caring for animals ever since. Family and friends have trusted me with their pets for years, and I’ve gained hands-on experience through petsitting, volunteering, and caring for my own animals—which has been the best learning experience of all. I share my home with three rescue pets: two husky mixes and a special-needs cat. Both of my dogs came from severe cases of fear and reactivity, so I know firsthand how overwhelming life with a reactive dog can be. If you’re still in the trenches, I’d love to help. We believe in only providing the absolute best care to your fur babies. For every minute your pet is with us they will be treated with love and patience. We currently live on a half acre property (fenced!) where your pet will have all the space and room to enjoy and receive enrichment. Cornelius and I work together in a team effort so your pet can be comfortable and have attentive care. To ensure safety for your pet and us, we do only take one family at a time for boardings (we do not overlap boardings). Our past experience includes: care for large and small dog breeds, puppies, senior dogs and cats, and kittens. As well as, teaching basic command training, providing basic wash and grooming for both small and large breeds, working with specialty diets, administering medications were needed, providing enrichment activities, and providing a comfortable and spacious environment. 2 day notice is required if cancellation is needed. About: Talley’s House has two adults that work from home, two teenage dog loving sons, and two pups, Talley (12+) and Oz (2) that love to meet and play with new friends! We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. See the safety, trust & environment section for details. 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. treats and training followed by quiet time in kennels 4:00 - 6:00 p.m interactive playtime round 2 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. evening feeding and quiet time in kennels 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. final playtime and bedtime routine (treats and training) 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. bedtime in kennels We prefer pickup/dropoff times between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m or 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. so we can devote time to helping the dogs adjust to the environment and their temporary pack. The only thing we need from you at drop off is their food in a ZIPLOC w INSTRUCTIONS WRITTEN on it. If needed, bring a small blanket or toy with the scent of home. We do NOT need beds, food dishes, or leash. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

We have a loving home with a very large enclosed backyard. Your dog would not just be in their kennel but in our home as part of our family. I only watch one dog at a time unless it's from the same family because it's not about the money as much as ensuring your dog gets all of our complete attention and love. Your dog will usually get a minimum of one walk a day... (usually on the Spanish Fork River Trail when weather permits) We will go out of our way to accommodate special requests when needed. Your pet will love coming on vacation to our home !!! Love is the vibe here ❤️ Since I'm retired I am completely available for your dog. Occasionally, I have to leave to go to the store or to the gym etc... but am extremely responsible so I would prefer to be with your dog as much as possible while it is in my care ❤️ We have a very large fenced in backyard for your pet to enjoy. I’ll stick to your feeding and potty schedule, keep fresh water down, and give your pet real attention instead of just popping in and out. On walks I keep a close hold and stay aware of traffic and other dogs, because I’d rather be overly careful than sorry. I always double check doors and gates before I go, and I’ll always send photos every visit so you can see your dog is happy and doing well!
About: I've had pets of every kind since I was 3 years old. Most of my pets have been dogs, although I've had cats, calves, horses, lambs, pigs and goats at times. I've had to feed, bathe, walk and of course doctor animals all my life. I currently have two English Bulldogs that I love very much. I'm currently retired and so I am flexible with my schedule. I am able to travel within a 10-15 mile radius for care. I have a reliable vehicle. I have a fenced yard and two English Bulldogs. One is female and one is male. About: I have taken care of all my friends and family's pets for as long as I can remember. I love dogs and cats! I have done month long stays at people's houses and I have also done the quick stop ins for potty breaks and feedings. I am currently not working so I have all the time to take care of your pets! I can do quick drop ins, long walks, overnight stays, whatever you need! I like to follow your pets routine. If they are used to morning walks and daily training I will happily do that! If they are more of a couch potato and like to snuggle, I will sit with them for as long as you'd like.

About: Hi my name is kaitlin, i’ve been taking care of all kinds of dogs since I was six. I’ve always been an animal lover, and I enjoy being active, going on runs, hikes. My furry baby unfortunately is a bit lazy. I’ve had countless family members rely on me watching feeding and bathing their pets. I’m home Monday through Friday every day, i’m a caregiver for my grandmother, and her Westy. So anytime during the day I am ready to walk, babysit, take care of your furry baby. About: I’ve been taking care of my neighbors dogs and my own dogs since I was around 10 years old. Dogs are my life, I love them with all my heart 💗 I am currently working two jobs at the moment, I work at a bakery that I sadly only get scheduled at least once every two weeks. So that’s why I got my second job, which is working as a substitute teacher for my school district.
