About: Animals have always been an important part of our lives. We raised one of our dogs from an 8 week old puppy and adopted another from a shelter when she was estimated to be 1 to 2 years old, she was with us for over 17 years! We cared for them through every stage of life. That experience taught us the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and paying attention to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll care for your furry family member with the same love and attention we gave our own. The house was in the same condition as we left it and I appreciate how caring and kind she was with our dogs. Her Osito came over to visit and he was very well behaved and got along great with our three dogs. I am happy she was able to watch our dogs while we were out of town.”

I've cared for playful puppies, senior dogs, high-energy adventurers, and pups who need medication or a little extra TLC. About: I've dog sat for various families over the years. I've house sat 3 different times, and have experience with senior dogs needing extra care (medicine, cleaning, etc.) I also have experience watching up to three dogs at once. I have family and friends willing to assist me in case of emergencies, as well. I know some dog first aid, including CPR and Heimlich. Once I graduate from college and finish my summer classes in September, my schedule will be completely open! I don't have any regular weekly commitments, so I can spend as much time with your pet(s) as needed! I like to spend as much time with pets as possible, even if that just means sitting in the same room as them while we each do our own things.

“Carissa was great - took great care of my 4-year old dog. He's absolutely my baby and she was so responsive to all of my requests for him. She sent me pictures and ensured he had a great time while I was gone. The trip was very last-minute, and I was sick in the lead-up. Carissa was flexible and responsive in scheduling a meet and greet with him. While I was away, she followed all of my requests and sent pictures so I could check in on him. Overall, she was excellent and I will absolutely be checking in with her the next time I'm out of town!”

I currently work part-time at a hospital in Lincoln, where I work two 12-hour shifts each week. Since I create my own schedule, I know my availability up to six weeks in advance. In short, I have plenty of flexibility and time to provide the care and attention your fur baby deserves! I am more than willing to watch your fur babies in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment. I know how important it is for pets to keep their normal routine, especially when their humans are away. I will treat your pets like they are my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and care while you’re gone. I am also respectful of your home and will make sure everything is left the way I found it.

About: I love being around animals! I got my first dog when I was 15 and trained him myself. Then I have dogs sat for countless families. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs and of all kinds. I work part time and go to college full time, but I have lots of time in my schedule for pups. I am avalible in the afternoons and on weekends I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a yard and I love to go for walks and be outside with your dog! I can crate them if preferred or accommodate to many situations.
