Animals have always been an important part of my life. Before returning to college, I attended PIMA Medical Institute in Denver and worked as a veterinary technician in both Colorado and Nebraska. I worked alongside multiple veterinarians at Banfield Pet Hospital throughout the Denver metro area and later at a rural veterinary practice and boarding facility in Mitchell, Nebraska. My veterinary experience gave me the opportunity to care for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable administering oral, topical, eye, ear, and injectable medications (including insulin when prescribed), caring for senior pets, and following detailed care instructions for pets with medical needs. One of my favorite parts of working in the boarding facility was helping nervous pets feel comfortable. Being away from home can be stressful, and I loved taking the time to earn their trust—whether that meant sitting quietly with them, giving them extra affection, or even making up a silly little jingle while we spent time together. Watching a scared pet relax and begin to feel safe was one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Today, I'm a nontraditional college student and work part-time on campus, which allows me to offer dependable afternoon, evening, and weekend care. I provide regular updates, photos, and complimentary meet-and-greets so you can feel confident your pet is in caring, capable hands. Every pet deserves to feel safe, understood, and loved—even when their favorite people are away.
