About Emma H.

Safety, trust & environment
I always love to chat and ask clarifying questions up front. Consideration and understanding of a pet and their family's rules and routines is a must, not only for consistency but also out of respect for you and your pets home and daily lives.
Information Emma H. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet get along with other dogs? Do they have any triggers (squirrels, birds, ect.) to watch out for? Any commands or routines you use with your pet. Treats, rewards, and enrichment activities you do with your pet.
A typical day
I love walking and giving furry friends opportunities to find lots of new sniffs. So going to the park or places your pet loves is a given. Playing fetch is always a fun option. My dogs love tennis balls and we often do enrichment activities (such as hide and seek, lick mats, and towel knots) using their treats or dog food to have the pups engage and use up excess mental energy as well, all owner discussed and approved of course.

Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs since I was 11. I have walked, fed, bathed, and occasionally trained breeds large and small often in multiple pet households. In recent years, I have house sat and pet sat for multiple pet homes and currently have a senior black lab mix and a young black lab pointer mix of my own.
Reviews

Emma has been my vacation dog walker for several years now. She is very good with my boys and they adore her. I lost my hound since the last time she walked for me and she adjusted to my new puppy quickly. She always let's me know if something unusual happens and takes pictures.

Emma was an amazing house sitter and treated our two elderly, little dogs and our home with impeccable care. We booked late, had numerous travel delays and had to extend our trip and left with one of our dogs feeling under the weather. Emma didn't miss a beat. She made our otherwise stressful trip so much better by being consistent with her communication and going above and beyond to care for our little pups. She provided us with updates, photos and an immaculate house upon our return. I can't recommend her enough to take care of your pets!
Emma was great! She was communicative very professional and punctual. I appreciated her being able to watch Lucy a little last minute.

Emma is very thorough with instructions and very attentive to the pets she takes care of!! Would recommend 20 out of 10 times!! Ten stars is what she deserves!!
