“Young is amazing! He took excellent care of our pup for the day. He had a great spot for the dogs to play/lounge/potty, shared updates/pictures/videos throughout the stay, and was incredibly communicative. We will definitely book again!”

“We were in Reno and very nervous about leaving our puppy for the day with a sitter. Shawna was incredibly nice and made us feel very welcome and at ease. Our puppy had a fantastic time playing and hanging out with her and slept very well that night. We received pictures throughout the day of updates which was so thoughtful. We will definitely be seeing Shawna when we need a sitter again! We recommend her 100%!! Thank you Shawna!”

About: I currently have 5 dogs of my own who are used to numerous rescue and foster dogs. My dogs are all friendly and playful. I have 2 dedicated dog doors to a large backyard for use from wake up to bedtime. All dogs sleep in my room with me, unless they prefer a crate in the family room. I feed twice a day and provide access to water, indoors and out 24/7. I also have horses and donkeys and a got on site so lots of critter loving goes on here. Board member of a spay/neuter rescue organization so have experience with every size and breed. Most recently had 2 elderly hospice pups here. Heartbreaking, but rewarding to provide them a loving and safe environment during their final months. I live in a rural area, so lots of safe roads and paths in the neighborhood for walks. My toddler grandson is here often, so dogs must be ok with small children. He respects and is kind to them. I'm recently retired. Continuing my passion for caring for animals is now easier than ever. I seem to be the person who friends and family turn to for care of their pets while traveling, so I thought I may as well offer my services to others also. Fully fenced yard with dog door access. If unfamiliar or nervous using dog door, I leave slider to back yard open. Dogs have run of the house and furniture (I'm crazy!) and get in lots of play time and walks. My own dogs are super accommodating and love having new fur friends to play and hang out with. I will feed new or visiting dogs in a separate area to ensure they are comfortable and to avoid any food protection issues.

“Shawn was awesome taking care of my 7m old puppy. From corresponding to drop off, overnight stay and pick up, all were positive. My pup was happy upon pick up. I highly recommend Shawn.”

“Destiny is an outstanding sitter. This was our pup’s first time staying with someone new. Destiny showed us around her home and described a typical day with her. She also let me know what I would need to bring to keep my pup comfortable. She sent photos which were great to see.”

“Rachel was amazing! Very friendly, super accommodating, and attentive to messages at all times. Ozzy had a blast and I would definitely recommend her as I will be using her again!”

About: Hi Pet Parents, Thank you for taking time to review my profile. I have recently retired and these days I enjoy a quieter pace of life with my sweet 4-year-old dog, Tucker. He’s a small dog with a big heart, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and wants to make new dog friends. I live in the Double Diamond/ Damonte Ranch area of South Reno. I’ve had dogs my entire life and even spent a few years as a breeder, so caring for dogs comes naturally to me. I offer in-home doggy daycare. I live in a calm, quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks and playtime. Whether your dog needs overnight care when you are out of town, daily full time companionship or occasional drop in playdates, you can count on me to treat them like family. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I’m available for overnight care seven days a week. Daycare is offered Monday through Friday only—weekends are reserved for overnight stays. I may step out for a couple of hours occasionally, but never for an extended period—your pup will still get plenty of attention and care. All pet care takes place in my home, where your dog will enjoy a calm, comfortable environment in a quiet South Reno neighborhood. I have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly dog, Tucker, who gets along well with other pups. I’m experienced with administering medications and can accommodate special routines or needs. Whether it’s for daycare (Monday–Friday) or overnight stays (available 7 days a week), your pet will be treated like family and given plenty of love, attention, and care.

“Nikoleta is a wonderful dog sitter! My miniature dachshund, Jake, was so well taken care of in her care - lots of exercise, playtime and hugs! Nikoleta sent me lots of photos and kept me updated throughout the day (as per my request). I would highly recommend Nikoleta - she clearly has a genuine love for animals - she is warm, trustworthy, responsible, kind and has a lot of love to give!”

About: I’m a passionate animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. In my home country, El Salvador, I earned my degree as a Veterinary Medicine and worked as a practicing veterinarian. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve become an Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA), bringing both medical training and heartfelt care to every furry friend I meet. From playful puppies to senior pets, I provide thoughtful, experienced care with patience, knowledge, and love. Caring for dogs in my home is currently my full-time and professional focus, which means I have plenty of time to offer personalized, attentive care. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex that features several private parks and green areas, ideal for safe, enriching walks just steps from my door. I’m always very careful during outings, making sure your dog is secure, relaxed, and enjoying every moment

“Sylvia took good care of my guy when he stayed with her for the day. She walked him several times. Fed him and even gave him food by hand when he was too nervous to eat. She kept me up to day with photos.”

“Outstanding! Immediately responded to our last minute request for day care. Took excellent care of our two dogs, sent numerous photos and videos, and was clearly very used to taking care of dogs of various breeds/energy levels. Highly recommend!”

“Mayra was wonderful with our pups River and Romi! It was our first time leaving them with someone who isn’t friends/family so I was little nervous but the girls did great and Mayra took great care of them. She was attentive, gave them lots of cuddles, & sent me pictures and videos throughout the day. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve had a dog ever since my first steps- and it’s a treat to provide other dog parents with the relief of a guaranteed good time for their pup when going on their own adventure! I’ve always been the family member or friend to care for any and all dogs around, whether camping in the desert or out on a snowy excursion. I pay attention to the details to ensure their safety and happiness are put first. It’s important to me that your dog is treated as my own, meaning they will be brought on hikes, bike rides, and fun trips to the lake with exceptional cuddles afterwards. I have a pup of my own, Stella, who is a well trained cattle dog mix. For anyone with a high energy dog, rest assured they will receive the proper exercise and care, as Stella wouldn’t allow it to be any other way! She’s spayed and updated on vaccines. She gets along amazingly with other dogs and enjoys zooming around the yard with new friends. Outside of caring for dogs, I work as a contractor and quote my own gardening and landscaping jobs. As I make my own hours, it’s easy for me to make adjustments to my schedule as needed when your pup is in my care. Pick ups and drop offs are easy to arrange if needed, as I have a truck with ample space. If you have a puppy and are looking for training for leash manners and general commands, look no further! Upon request I can work with your pup to help them instill behaviors that will make both of your worlds easier. As stated prior, I make my own hours as a contractor and easily adjust my schedule to ensure your pup will receive the best care possible. I provide house sitting, drop ins, and walks, which can provide great relief as your pet won’t have to adjust to a new home. If you’re looking for your pup to go out on a day adventure, the best booking option would be daycare. I currently do not provide daycare out of my home.
