About: I have had cats my whole life and I love their quirky nature. Recently got my own dog after loving other people’s dogs for years, she just turned three and is pretty well trained and fun to play with. Now I’m branching out to care for and play with your pets so you can get stuff done and have fun. I love them all, hamsters, birds, you name it. I will boop! Right now, I’m available for your pets on weekday evenings and most Saturdays. I’m here for you! Can do. Will enjoy the experience so much. Very excited to have new animal friends to play with. I do have a fenced yard and one large dog, two cats. Mostly I am ready to come to your place for pet care, or take them out on walks as you prefer. I am here for you.
About: Hi! I’m Hannah and I’m new here which is why you may not see any reviews yet. My background consists primarily of dogs and horses, equating to around 10 years of caretaking experience. I grew up working on horse ranches and have spent years dog sitting and walking. I’ve cared for all kinds of breeds, including Aussie Cattle Dogs, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Corgis. I have experience when it comes to high energy breeds who love to run and play - I’m an avid runner so let me know if your pup would enjoy a jog! I’m looking to get my dog fix by helping out other dog owners and giving their pups some extra attention, exercise, and companionship. Let me know how I can help! I work full time Monday- Friday, however I am available various evenings during the week and weekends. Between dog walking, stopping by to feed, or providing potty breaks, let me know how I can assist. I am caring, trustworthy, and prioritize communication. I know how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet in the hands of a stranger so prompt and open communication is a high priority of mine.
“Gabriel was wonderful with our 2 cats. Our cats opened up to him despite them not being big fans of strangers. He was on time for every visit and followed our instructions perfectly. Provided great daily updates. We would definitely reach out to him again the next time we need a sitter.”

About: I am the Proud Dog Dad of 5 amazing fur babies! I've been blessed to have a total of 28 pets in my lifetime and I would love to care for yours too! I work as a nonprofit CEO during the week, which gives me a flexible, self-directed schedule. Most of my availability is on weekends, but I also have some limited weekday availability for quick walks, drop-in visits, feeding, potty breaks, and check-ins. I provide care for pets in the comfort of their own home and yard, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow each pet owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication (if needed), and any special care requirements. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine while ensuring they receive plenty of attention, affection, and safe, reliable care during your absence.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I really enjoy being around and caring for dogs. Most of my experience has been caring for small dogs and those in the later years of their life. My calm demeanor works well with dogs who may be nervous around new people. Until recently, I also volunteered at an adoption center where I helped to care for dogs looking for a new home. I currently don’t work a conventional job due to personal limitations so my schedule allows for lots of flexibility. Taking care of your pet would bring lots of joy to my day. I am an attentive and affectionate pet care taker. I will respect your space and any parameters set around taking care of your furry family.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 11 years old, starting with the pets of my friends, family, and my own dogs. Over the years, I have learned how to understand their personalities, needs, and routines. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, companionship, or providing extra care for younger or older pets, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care is not just something I do, it’s something I truly enjoy and dedicate my time to. I currently care for pets full-time, which allows me to give them the attention, love, and consistency they need throughout the day. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, keeping their routines, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their families are away. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I feel grateful to be able to do what I love every day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, secure, and respected in their environment. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, routines, medications, and any special needs their pet may have. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I provide a calm and loving space where they can feel relaxed. I pay close attention to their behavior, keep their environment clean and safe, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection.

I can come take care of pets almost every day! I am a working Christian girl so Sundays I have church for an hour, and I just recently started a new job so far my hours are 10am-7pm Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays! I’m available afternoons on Thursdays and I’m available weekends! I believe that pets require an immense amount of attention and affection and I will always create a trusting bond with the pet owners and answer any questions the owners may have!
“Robin is so great with my crew of kitties, tending to their needs and keeping an eye on the house. She even seems to understand their personalities and what each of them needs. I felt so reassured having Robin there to care for them.”

“Maicie has been incredible with our two pups. Both are medically complex, and she’s taken the time to allow them to get to know her on their own terms. She’s kind, responsive, punctual, and has been so helpful to us as we worried so much about leaving them all day while we are at work. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind hearted and patient dog sitter. Thank you, Maicie!”

“Victoria was super attentive and a great communicator. We just needed a quick drop in for our cat this time, but we would definitely love to have Victoria take care of Johnny again!”

“Cathleen was a caring loving caregiver for my cat Shi Shi. I felt comfortable leaving her which was hard to do with fires starting everywhere. She came daily, brushed her, fed her, played with her and took beautiful photos. .”

Victoria was truly wonderful to engage and work with. She made it super easy to make the reservation, sort out the details on the Rover app and truly was warm and engaging with our pup, and us! She also made the transition as we left our pet easy and seamless. She gave us regular updates and kept us posted on all details for her departure. Wonderful! Highly recommend!
Gabriel has been great with my lab! He makes sure she gets some outdoor time before she does her favorite thing which is eating 😂 It’s so nice to get his updates with pictures. I really appreciate his availability for my random schedule. My dog and I are both very thankful to have him, thanks Gabriel!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
