About: I’m the lady who crosses the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all dogs, but big dogs have my heart. I confess, I’m also the lady that will remember your dog’s name, age and origins, but perhaps not always your name. Although I have the confidence and experience to befriend your big dogs, that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t love our smaller friends, as well. Big and small, I love them all❣️ I’ve been responsible for animals most of my life. Chiefly, I’ve had the privilege to care and own big dogs. Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent. I have free nights and 3-day weekends. I enjoy a lot of free time that I would like to fulfill with dogs. I have a secured, fenced yard. I can also kennel your pets as well. My responsibility to you is ensuring your family member is secure in my charge.

About: I have loved animals since I was a little kid, and I grew up surrounded by animals including a cat, two dogs, and a rabbit. As a teen, I was also a junior zookeeper for several years at my local wildlife refuge, helping to care for animals that couldn’t be released into the wild and also educating visitors on the importance of these animals and their natural habitats. For the last 10 years, I have had the pleasure of being the guardian of a sassy little tabby named Moon. I have also had the pleasure to housesit for some other furry friends when their humans were out of town. Currently have a pretty flexible schedule as long as I know a few days in advance what’s up 😊 Which is why I unfortunately can’t take same day bookings. At this time, I am unable to accommodate overnight housesitting requests where a pet cannot be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. I am committed to making sure that your furry family members are safe and well cared for while they are with me. Please communicate any known issues to me (things your pet likes to chew that they shouldn’t, medications they take, behavior issues, for instance) and in turn I will do my absolute best to keep them safe and report any possible issues immediately.

I’ve stayed overnight at clients’ homes multiple times to make sure their pets felt safe and comfortable while their owners were away. Walking is a huge part of my daily routine! As a teacher, I have a structured schedule that actually works really well for pet care. I'm free before 8 AM, which makes me available for early morning walks or check-ins—perfect for starting a pet’s day on the right foot. My workday ends by 3 PM, so I’m available for afternoon visits, feedings, walks, or overnight stays during the week. On weekends, I’m completely free and can dedicate 100% of my time to pet sitting or extended stays. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because it’s something I truly enjoy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I start by carefully reviewing any instructions the owner provides, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any specific habits or preferences their pet has. I make sure to give them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection so they don’t feel lonely while their family is away. I also keep the home tidy, clean up after the pets, and provide regular updates to the owners, including photos and messages, so they can feel at ease knowing their pets are in good hands. I take my role seriously and treat every pet like my own.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats in the past, when I lived in Australia, and in Napa, I am trusted by all of my friends and family to take care of their pets and home while they are away. I have been doing so much housesitting recently, I decided to offer my services to others again! I love animals and am always that person that can't walk past a cat or dog without saying hello and giving them a pat. I am a winemaker and notary on the side, so I have had regular background checks and am a respectful and responsible person. I live by the moto of "leave the place better than you found it" and am very cautious and mindful to leave your home in perfect condition, so you can return home with no problems and no cleaning to worry about! I work full-time and am generally at work by 7:30am and am home by 4pm. I spend a lot of time at home on the weekends to get work done and tend to walk with friends to get exercise or go to the local farmers markets. Give me a list of instructions that you would like done and I will fulfill all of your expectations! I work during the day, so I will not be able to stop by during the day in most cases (between 7:30am-4:30pm), but I will free for walks before and/or after work and anything else that needs to be done.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have nearly two years of animal shelter experience. About: Hello! I love caring for peoples' pets! Recently relocated from Vermont. Certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, committed to ongoing professional development for safety, enrichment and pet care best practices. I offer services around a part-time job, so if I am available, I am not going to go to work that day. Dog Walking appointments are available during daylight hours unless otherwise arranged. I live close to downtown and can drive or bike to you as well. We have space for one or two small or medium dogs to stay with us or attend to dogs or cats of any size in their own home. If I am not staying over, I will schedule between 1-3 visits per day depending on the needs of the pet(s). My home is small and shared with my own dog, but we have a fenced yard. I will look after your pet(s) with safety and fun foremost in mind!
