About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. Five stars for Berenice! She was wonderful from start to finish. She was easy to communicate with, responsive, and was kind enough to accept my last-minute walk request. This was actually the first walk I’ve ever booked for my dogs, and I booked it as a little birthday present to myself. Their happiness genuinely makes me happy, so knowing they were in good hands and getting to enjoy a great walk made my day even better. Berenice made me feel completely comfortable with the whole experience and handled everything wonderfully. I’m so glad she was our first Rover walker. She’s awesome, and I would absolutely book with her again!
Cecilia is wonderful! Two of our dogs are slow to warm up to new people and can be anxious and reactive to strangers, wildlife, fast cars, slow cars, and lots of other normal/scary things one encounters frequently on a walk. Oh and they also randomly stop some days and just don’t want to go very far, and they’re wimps in the rain. Cecilia has been patient, creative, and confident and we notice they’re even walking less anxious about all those things with us now :)
Ashleigh was amazing and so helpful! She responded super quickly and was great at keeping me updated on everything, letting me know what Max needed and what I needed to do. Plus, she was on time! And she even remembered to bring along a leash that I'd forgotten to grab myself. Max looked happy and was definitely well taken care of during his walk. I would definitely recommend Ashleigh!
