Kathryn responded promptly and accommodated our request to have her stay with our dog at our hotel while we were at the event. About: I have an 11lb, 10 year old maltipoo named Sailor that sparks joy, a lovely wine country home with fenced backyard & love caring for Sailor & his friends 🐶. I have experience with special needs pups (anxiety, disabilities, etc…) I treat every pup as my own & provide patience & care. I pride myself with responsiveness, updates & pictures. Working from home provides so much time & attention for play, walks & relaxation, home also has AC for the hot days keeping everyone very comfortable & happy! My amazing husband works from home part time & loves helping & enjoying our pup loving life! Dogs are very drawn to his calm, friendly energy. Sailor & pup friends are always attended, allowed supervised in fenced backyard, leash walks, & always allowed on beds and furniture, with plenty of toys & soft fluffy blankets to cuddle on. Happy to follow guidelines, & modify for less or more activity or routine preferences.

I owned a petsitting and dog training business in Portland for many years... had to move and change jobs but I still love having as many furfriends as possible! I consider myself very intuitive and always respect a pets boundaries. Listening is key and watching for body language. I will take the very best care of your home and pet!! Just like they were my own. I work for myself and have a very flexible schedule. I can work around what works best for you. Great at time management and super reliable. I prefer sitting at my clients homes and have extensive experience with housesitting alone. I have managed luxury homes and can offer extra things like plant watering, mail pickup, coordinating with staff, etc.

I am currently working remotely and am home almost all day long. I take my pet on three walks a day. I also have an enclosed fenced in backyard with easy access. I have a one-level home with friendly neighbors. I am located right off route 29 & have a large fenced in backyard for your pets to enjoy!

About: I’m new to Rover but I, like so many others on here love animals! I have 2 dogs, an 8 year old tiny yet mighty Chihuahua and a 3 year old energetic and loving Border Collie. These two crazy boys have helped me learn that no two dogs are the same but a few things that they do have in common is their need for patient, loving, and understanding care takers. Dogs are the main animals that I’ve had the opportunity to care for, from chihuahuas to German shepherds but I’ve also had some clients with fish and turtles that needed boarding as well. I currently work at my administrative job 3 times a week and I’m looking for a fun way to spend my off days! My schedule is very flexible and I’m open to working around your pets routine! Most of my pet-sitting services take place in your home, where your pets can stay comfortable in the environment they know and love. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible while providing them with plenty of love, attention, and personalized care. I also provide regular walks and engaging outdoor activities to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated. “Rusty did a terrific job with a drop-in visit I recently booked. Rusty took the time to get to know the dogs and the lay of the land with a meet and greet several days prior to the actual drop-in, which I appreciated. One of my dogs is an incredibly energetic dachshund puppy and the other is a senior dachshund with some trust issues. Rusty was incredibly knowledgable with how to handle both and I felt at ease with Rusty as my choice. About: I am a big dog lover and a proud pet parent to two dogs (Dude, goofy but lovable chocolate lab and my princess Gracie, a King Charles Cavalier and a sweet senior cat Zuzu.), so caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My pets are truly my babies so I know what it means to have someone you trust to treat them like family! I have adopted senior dogs in the past as well so I have experience with older / special needs dogs too. I work from home most days - for drop ins mornings and nights for drop ins are better for me but I can do lunchtime drop ins. I have a fenced in yard in both the back and front yard on a safe small private lane. I do not allow pets outside unsupervised!

“Katie is a wonderful find. She came to our home first to meet the guy, see the house, put up with my stories of his fabulousness. Then her evening and morning 1-hour visits were 1) absolutely on time as agreed, 2) featured many photos of his various activities, 3) the completed checklist of meals, litter box, etc. and 4) great info on his behavior, especially since this was the first time she cat-sat. That he hissed at her on first visit, was chill and lovey on his second (sounds like him). Katie has made it her business to know as much as she can about cat behavior (she is a cat owner), such as why female cats may like their rumps rubbed while my male cat might not. She is also just a lovely, attentive, curious person. So glad she's in the neighborhood.”

I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! Happy to help you out - bring on the dogs! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.
