“Katie is a wonderful find. She came to our home first to meet the guy, see the house, put up with my stories of his fabulousness. Then her evening and morning 1-hour visits were 1) absolutely on time as agreed, 2) featured many photos of his various activities, 3) the completed checklist of meals, litter box, etc. and 4) great info on his behavior, especially since this was the first time she cat-sat. That he hissed at her on first visit, was chill and lovey on his second (sounds like him). Katie has made it her business to know as much as she can about cat behavior (she is a cat owner), such as why female cats may like their rumps rubbed while my male cat might not. She is also just a lovely, attentive, curious person. So glad she's in the neighborhood.”

About: I have about 2 years of pet care experience, mostly with dog sitting and walking. I have worked mostly with larger dog breeds, but I have experience with a variety of dog sizes. I also have experience in small mammal pet sitting, such as guinea pigs and chinchillas. I am available to work around most people's schedules, if you are concerned please reach out and we can discuss what would work best for you and your pets. About: I've been around animals since I was a baby. I have a fondness for the senior pets, they are just the sweetest! I love having playtime and cuddle time and a good walk if you're pet enjoys walks. (My grand cat walks on a leash, so we go on walks all the time). It's a scary time when pet parents are away for both pet and parent and I'll be there to make all of you at ease! I have a very flexible part-time job, so that frees me up to spend as much time as needed with your fur baby most weekdays and weekends, even holidays! I have three indoor feral rescue kitties. It took time and trust on all sides, but all three are now the sweetest cats ever! Every fur baby that has been brought into my house over the years, was either a feral I rescued off the street or adopted from a shelter. Mine are indoor only, except for when I sit on the porch. They get to come outside, but they all stay on the porch and come inside when I do.So lots of toys and enrichment is important for them. They all love to play fetch and chase the laser! Whatever your pet requires or whatever their routine is, I'm there for it. It's all about your pet and putting your mind at ease that they are in the best possible hands!
About: My first fur baby was Minnie (chi-weenie) gifted to me when I was 7 years old! Since then I grew up with her, my other fur baby Kobe who is a chihuahua mix, Lilly (Pitbull mix, and Chico (Pitbull mix.) My home was full of their love. I get to continue to share the love with all the doggy’s I have met so far. I am that friend everyone would come to for advice for their fur babies and to take care of. The last couple pictures are my precious babies that I would frequently care for in LA. I hope I am able to share these fun days with your fur baby! Whenever I get the chance to take a long walk I love including any doggy with me or just relaxing and watch bluey with my new fur pals. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
