About: I love animals more than people! Been petsitting all my life. First to offer my friends and neighbors to be Auntie to their little muffins. I owned a petsitting and dog training business in Portland for many years... had to move and change jobs but I still love having as many furfriends as possible! Then her evening and morning 1-hour visits were 1) absolutely on time as agreed, 2) featured many photos of his various activities, 3) the completed checklist of meals, litter box, etc. and 4) great info on his behavior, especially since this was the first time she cat-sat. That he hissed at her on first visit, was chill and lovey on his second (sounds like him). Katie has made it her business to know as much as she can about cat behavior (she is a cat owner), such as why female cats may like their rumps rubbed while my male cat might not. She is also just a lovely, attentive, curious person. So glad she's in the neighborhood.”

About: As Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." I began pet sitting throughout high school and from there my passion for animals grew. I am currently employed as a veterinary assistant although my ultimate goal is to attend veterinary school one day! I love being able to help families and their fur-babies. I am comfortable with administering medications and injections (such as insulin). I have cared for medically complex senior furry friends. I am currently taking a leave of absence from work and therefore have more free time available to pet sit! Pet sitting for family, friends, and pre-existing clients is currently my full time job until I return to my vet assistant role 😊 When caring for pets in their own homes, I like to keep things very neat and organized. I will typically wash bed sheets or at least remove bed sheets if spending the night. I will also bring my own groceries and supplies with me so as to not disturb the home. I do my best to spend the majority of my day in the home with the pet providing company.
