“Katie is a wonderful find. She came to our home first to meet the guy, see the house, put up with my stories of his fabulousness. Then her evening and morning 1-hour visits were 1) absolutely on time as agreed, 2) featured many photos of his various activities, 3) the completed checklist of meals, litter box, etc. and 4) great info on his behavior, especially since this was the first time she cat-sat. That he hissed at her on first visit, was chill and lovey on his second (sounds like him). Katie has made it her business to know as much as she can about cat behavior (she is a cat owner), such as why female cats may like their rumps rubbed while my male cat might not. She is also just a lovely, attentive, curious person. So glad she's in the neighborhood.”

About: I grew up in a house full of animals and pets and have grown to understand and love them fully and I hope to spread that love towards other animals! I can come take care of pets almost every day! I am a working Christian girl so Sundays I have church for an hour, and I just recently started a new job so far my hours are 10am-7pm Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays! I’m available afternoons on Thursdays and I’m available weekends! I believe that pets require an immense amount of attention and affection and I will always create a trusting bond with the pet owners and answer any questions the owners may have!

About: I have a long history caring for various animals, from farm to domestic. I've been caring for dogs ever since I was 16, all my dogs are rescues and have needed all kinds of special care and love! I'm familiar with reactivity and larger dogs, or smaller breeds and puppies. a little extra attention and time goes a long way. I'm happy to go on hikes and walks or stay in and cuddle. I always like to be clear about what a pet needs and what their boundaries are. Im unfamiliar with giving medicine through needles, and I don't have professional training for training dogs/reactivity. What I do have is experience with my pets, my friends pets, and a lot of compassion and patience. If your dog needs medicine, is reactive, or has certain triggers, please be up front with this information so I can provide the best service! In my house, my pets have a schedule for food and activity so they have a basic structure. Feel free to share about their personality, quirks, or any sensitivities. Communication is key!

About: I’ve been caring for friends and neighbors dogs for years now. I’ve never had the opportunity to have a dog myself so I live vicariously through taking care of others dogs! I’m currently a college student and I’m available to work weekends and even nights. Right now I’m on summer break so my availability is pretty open! I’m very flexible with what is best for the dog/for the client in their home. I’ll make sure the dog won’t be able to get out and will keep a watchful eye.

Dogs feel like they are on vacation, where they get to play with their friends. We have Twenty four years of experience, I ran a poodle kennel for ten years. I have always had dogs, and cats I am not against reptiles. We always have full-time people at home twenty four hours, day and night. We can provide indoor -outdoor or private rooms for dogs or cats. I’m flexible and always happy to follow your pets’ specific routines, needs, and preferences. When I stay in a client’s home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. My priority is keeping your pets comfortable and maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they receive their meals on schedule, fresh water, regular potty breaks, walks, play and enrichment, and plenty of affection and companionship. I pay attention to their individual personalities and needs, whether they want lots of activity and attention or prefer a quieter, more relaxed day. I do leave the house periodically for my own errands, walks, or activities, but I make sure your pets receive dedicated one-on-one time throughout the day and aren’t simply left alone for long periods. About: I am a dog mom of four boys: Neville, Perrin, Duke, and Reggie. I have watched dogs/cats/rodents/fish for family/friends for years of all ages and sizes. I love spending time with animals, and look forward to going out on walks/hikes, or to the park to throw a ball around. I am a GIS Analyst who loves the outdoors, animals, exercise, and laughing. I even have a tattoo that says "All I want is to pet all of the dogs"! I have experience with dog walking, and sitting both in my own home and staying at the pet's homes. About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF.
