About: I have a long history caring for various animals, from farm to domestic. I've been caring for dogs ever since I was 16, all my dogs are rescues and have needed all kinds of special care and love! I'm familiar with reactivity and larger dogs, or smaller breeds and puppies. a little extra attention and time goes a long way. I'm happy to go on hikes and walks or stay in and cuddle. Feel free to ask me any questions and happy to provide my experience! Im a part time college student in kentfeild and I work at a café part time. Im looking for roles I can pick up on my off time. I always like to be clear about what a pet needs and what their boundaries are. Im unfamiliar with giving medicine through needles, and I don't have professional training for training dogs/reactivity. What I do have is experience with my pets, my friends pets, and a lot of compassion and patience. If your dog needs medicine, is reactive, or has certain triggers, please be up front with this information so I can provide the best service! In my house, my pets have a schedule for food and activity so they have a basic structure. Feel free to share about their personality, quirks, or any sensitivities. Communication is key!

Your home stays secure with daily checks, mail and packages handled, plants watered, and any maintenance needs spotted early thanks to my twenty years in the trades. Clean background, million-dollar insurance, bonded. Flexible and professional. One hundred fifty dollars per night. Available for in home stays, or multiple home visits during your absence. What to expect When you book overnight house sitting, I stay in your Santa Rosa home so it stays occupied, secure, and running as usual. Pets keep their normal routine. The house gets daily attention. A typical overnight sit includes presence in the home, morning and evening property checks, feeding and fresh water if you have pets, mail and package handling, plant care, trash and recycling on pickup days, lights and locks as you specify, and a quick look for leaks, odd noises, or anything that needs a heads-up. I send photo or text updates so you know things are on track. If you do not need someone staying overnight, regular house checks can be scheduled instead. I stop by on a set cadence, walk the property, handle mail and packages, water plants, confirm locks and systems, and flag anything that looks off. I bring twenty years in the trades plus security and property-management experience, so I notice small issues early. I carry one million dollars in insurance and I am bonded. Clean federal background check. House-check visits can be scheduled separately. We start with a Meet and Greet. You walk me through the house, pet routine if any, alarm, keys, and any off-limits rooms or cameras. I follow your written list. No guests unless you approve it. House left tidy when you return.

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. Dogs feel like they are on vacation, where they get to play with their friends. We have Twenty four years of experience, I ran a poodle kennel for ten years. I have always had dogs, and cats I am not against reptiles. We always have full-time people at home twenty four hours, day and night. We can provide indoor -outdoor or private rooms for dogs or cats. About: I’ve been around animals all my life. I’ve always had a dog or a cat growing up. I’ve dog sat for my aunt when she on vacation traveling since I was 18 years old. She had dogs from Dalmatians to mawltises to hound dogs and boarding collies. I’ve had rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs and cats growing up. I’ve even taken care of birds and reptiles. I just love animals and I love taking care of them. I feel if the world lived life more like a dog the world would be a way better place. I’m a store manager for shell gas station so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and what hours I want to work. But I mainly work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and four hours on the weekend. I have a dog door with a fenced in yard as well as garage with a dog door in it so i can separate if need be. I also have a aunt that live less than five minutes away that can always drop by and check on them as well. I live in a very safe area in an HOA community with a park around the Corner. Quiet street, with very little bother. I have a fence in yard with dog door, garage and gates. I have a dog super friendly as well as two cats super friendly. I do have the ability to keep cats separated as I have an up stairs room I can keep them in or the garage. But all my pets are friendly and good with other animals.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals.
