About: I know how important routine and comfort is for pups when their human(s) go away. Staying consistent with the day to day norm is so important. I am committed to treating your dog the way you would while you are gone. A little more about me: I was born & raised in farm country with cows, horses, geese, chickens, cats, dogs ... you name it. I've been an animal lover from a young age and i've had / cared for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds etc. I started dog / house sitting in my late teens for friends and family. What sets me apart? Dogs of all sizes have stollen my heart but none more than the big breeds people often shy away from. I love Canes, Danes, Rotties, Pitties, Mastiffs, Dogos, Presas ... the bigger the dog the bigger the heart! Having been a mom to a papered Rottweiler as well as a Rottweiler rescue I can say no one dog is easier than another, they are all so unique and individualistic just like us. After rehabilitating and training my rescue Rottie to be a service dog I began helping others train their dogs as well (by referral only). It's been 1.5 years since my last Rottie love transitioned to the rainbow bridge and though I am not ready for another one of my own I do have the time and love to give to the pups of others. I help female entrepreneurs go from idea to launch and provide social marketing strategy post launch. Most of my work is done on my laptop & cell phone. About: I’ve taken care of every kind of pet you can think of. I started using Wag a few years ago and fell in love. Each has a specific personality and all are very loving. I have watched my dad’s boxer, my mom’s shitzu, wag customers’ dogs from lab to terrier, a few friends’ cats and most recently began caretaking my own kitten. I have worked with dogs and cats that need to take medication and crate training as well. I am excited to meet your furry friends! I make my own schedule and currently have Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays pretty open. I also can fit in a drop in or quick walk when I am not in meetings! I have experience caring for both dogs and cats while their owner was away. The most important thing to remember is a. Always refer to the owners manual they have given you! And b. Just give them love and keep their routine the same and you’re golden :)

About: I grew up with dogs and recently lost my best friend, a corgi, Teddy. As a long time dog-owner, I understand how much anxiety goes into leaving your dog with someone else. I will treat your dog/s as if they were my own. I have much experience with aging / elderly dogs and dogs with special needs (dogs with leash aggression, anxiety, allergies, and prosthetic limbs/wheel chairs). My goal is to get to know you and your dog, and provide tailored service to meet your wants and your furry loved one's needs. I am happy to provide updates and pictures of our time together too! About: My husband and I have been caring for dogs in our home while owners are away for 20 years.All dogs are welcome, especially older dogs we play in the yard and go for walks on local trails. We have references galore! Also offer cat boarding.. 1 cat at a time ..we have a nice 2×3 ft cage we keep in a quiet area. About: I raised my last puppy into a loving, well-behaved dog. Volunteered at shelters in San Luis Obispo, CA when I lived there. I'm high energy, a morning person, and love to hike, run, beach, and move with a furry partner. Very cognizant of limitations on warm days. I also enjoy less active and senior dogs! I have a calm house, no children. One other dog, a one year old lab named Apollo. Your dog WILL enjoy their time with me, and I'll send you super cute pics to prove it! Currently, I'm working remotely while I help my dad with home improvement projects. I do not flake. If we make an agreement, rest assured I will be there. If you need a particular set of days further out, let me know and I can arrange that. We have a large yard and easy access to hikes and parks. I have hardwood floors, so no worries/carpet stains if there is an "accident." I prefer to spend most time outside the house, either getting exercise or at a coffeeshop in the shade. I work remotely, and help my dad with home improvement projects. The house backs up to a trail system, and I take our dog out every morning and afternoon for walks. There is a fenced, grassy space in the yard, as well as a dog park down the street that we frequent. We have a large grassy yard with long leashes if they're hanging outside th fenced area. Inside space is all dog friendly, and we allow ours on the couch. Just let me know if you have limits you'd like enforced for consistency.

About: I grew up taking care of my family's dogs (feeding, bathing, walking, playing with) and I started cat sitting for neighbors when I was ten. I am currently working a part time job from my home, so I have a lot of flexibility to walk, feed, or watch your pets overnight. I won't be able to board animals in my house but because I have two dogs of my own I understand how precious our animals are and promise to treat your animals with the same love and care I treat mine with.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, having grown up with them in the Champagne Region (France), and I finally moved to California three years ago after spending a decade living in Australia, South Africa, and China. Shortly after settling in, I adopted my little Charlie, who has brought endless joy into my life ever since. Charlie is my constant companion—we go everywhere together! He’s a big fan of the ocean, enjoys snacking on yogurt, loves playing with other dogs, and even enjoys chasing those pesky squirrels. They have plenty of space to relax, play, and explore. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions are part of the routine. About: At 23 years old, I have had pets my entire life- dogs, cats, horses. I have taken care of my family’s two lovely Bernese mountain dogs for multiple days at a time as well as dog sitting for many friends and family members! I grew up around many cats (indoor and outdoor) that my family had rescued in California and I now live in Nashville with my lovely black cat Picasso! We rescued her from a creek and nursed her back to health and she is happy and healthy! I give her medicine daily for a respiratory condition so I have no trouble administering medication! I am currently working part time at a restaurant in the gulch! For any evening visits I will be able to check in on your pet after 9pm on days where I work (about 3 days a week) or before 4pm! I promise I will always keep a close eye on your pet! I understand how important they are! I will never fail to close the door behind me or to keep food out of reach!

About: Hey there! I'm a gal who doesn't own a dog (just 3 cats!) who works from home some days of the week and is happy to take care of your pooch! I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.

About: Hi there! My name is Jesse, I'm a young professional working from home full-time, so I can provide around the clock companionship and care. I love having some extra company! I love to get outside and go for walks and hikes, but I'm always happy to laze on the couch a bit too. I have one dog, Minnow, a year old, 30 lb mixed breed dog who is very friendly and loves to play. As a teenager I worked in boarding facilities and veterinary offices for a combined 6 years. I've experienced working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and with all kinds of medical conditions and behaviors. I understand dog body language and psychology quite well. I have experience administering oral medications and insulin, basic grooming, obedience and reactivity training, and puppy/senior care. I have previously fostered puppies in my home, and raised my dog Minnow since she was 8 weeks old. I love all breeds from small to large, and anywhere in between! I have a very flexible work schedule. I often have weekend plans but am able to accommodate with notice. I do have one dog who I am the primary caretaker of. I live in St. Helena and love to take walks in the vineyards surrounding my neighborhood or over to Crane Park. I live with my boyfriend (pictured) who often helps provide care. I am comfortable crating, doing basic training, administering medication, and handling reactive or timid dogs. My goal is always to establish trust, and I'll always give time for your pet to warm up to me first. I'll do my best to meet special requests and make sure your pets are comfortable and happy while you're away! I am able to stay overnight in your home with advanced notice. I can bring my dog or leave her home.
