5. Melissa R.
“Melissa is an attentive and reliable pet caregiver and is our first choice when we need a dog sitter. She offers more flexibility, love and attentiveness to our two fur babies than we experienced at our local doggie daycare in Santa Rosa! Melissa keeps the house neat and tidy and stays in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the dogs and house behind. Above all, Melissa is trustworthy, and our dogs love her!”

7. Iuliia G.
“Iuliia is amazing with dogs! I have a rescue pit bull who's not friendly with strangers and is afraid of them, as a result of some abuse as a puppy before we rescued him. As he's now a 90lbs dog, we always ensure he's properly managed. Iuliia was able to find comfort ground with him so quickly and effortlessly. It was surprising and also wonderful to see. I was amazed by her ability to be so comfortable with a dog like mine. She's just wonderful with her care and comfort she gives to the pup. She's impressive and highly recommended!”

8. Sasha P.

“Elliot was very responsive to messages and performed the drop in visits at the specified times. They even picked up the poop for us!”

9. Natalia T.

“Natalia did a good job dropping in on my pet! She is courteous and professional. She was timely, followed directions, and sent multiple photos. I will definitely be hiring Natalia again and you should too!”

11. Briana F.

“Briana is intelligent, thoughtful and caring -- the pet care trifecta! She has experience with many different species and provided exceptional care for our diverse group of pets, some of whom have "special" needs. From the first visit, we knew by her great questions that she was going to provide high quality care for our pets. Throughout our time away, she was really wonderful at communicating and providing updates. Our animals were all SO comfortable around her. She has the experience and calm confidence that put them at ease. We returned to find all our pets happy, clean and content. We could not be more pleased with her care and hope she will be available to watch over our pets the next time we are planning a trip out of town. Briana is definitely an asset to our community.”

12. Debra W.
“Debra is a great caretaker for my two dachshunds. When they are in her care she makes sure to take them on nice walks and treats them with love and respect. She always makes them feel at home and provides lots of love and snuggles.”

13. Andrea H.
“I can't say enough about how exceptional Andrea is when it comes to pet sitting and her unwavering passion for animals. Having known Andrea personally and experienced her care for my dog Gumbo, I can honestly say that she's become my trusted go-to dog sitter on numerous occasions. Every time I've had an unparalleled sense of assurance, knowing that Gumbo is not just in safe hands but also genuinely cherished. Gumbo's wild and sometimes challenging personality, compounded by her struggle with separation anxiety, can be a handful. However, Andrea's incredible expertise in handling her shines through, ensuring that Gumbo feels as safe and loved as she does when she’s home with me. Andrea doesn’t just watch my dog, she entertains her and gives her affection. It feels more like a vacation for Gumbo than a night without me. One aspect of Andrea's pet-sitting that I find particularly praiseworthy is her unwavering commitment to communication. She consistently shares updates and heartwarming pictures, fostering a deep sense of security and connection, even when I'm away. It's obvious that Andrea treats Gumbo as if she were a part of her own family. Her dedication is evident when I pick Gumbo up and she doesn’t want to leave. What truly sets Andrea apart is her readiness to manage unforeseen situations or emergencies. I have absolute confidence that she would react with the same urgency and care as I would, prioritizing Gumbo's well-being above all else. Trusting someone else with Gumbo was a significant step for me, but Andrea's exceptional care has turned her into my go-to choice, time and time again. This level of trust in a dog sitter is truly invaluable. I wholeheartedly recommend Andrea as a dog sitter to anyone seeking a dependable, compassionate, and responsible caregiver for their furry family members. Her unwavering commitment to providing top-tier care for dogs with unique needs, like Gumbo's, is nothing short of admirable. You can rest assured that your furry companion will be in the most capable and loving hands with Andrea, making your time away from your pet not just worry-free but genuinely enjoyable.”

14. julie G.
“I’ve had the pleasure of living with Julie for some time, and I can confidently say that she is incredibly loving and attentive to her dog, Charlie, who is well-behaved and clearly well-cared for. I’ve also witnessed Julie’s interactions with other dogs, and she shows the same level of responsibility and kindness toward them. She genuinely cares about each pet she looks after. I would highly recommend Julie as a pet caregiver—she’s truly fantastic!”

15. Anna V.
“Being Anna's father I can attest to Anna's love for dogs. For that matter animals in general. Anywhere we go, whether it's around town or on vacation, she's constantly aware of any dogs in our immediate vicinity. She's quick to make sure we go out of our way so she can greet them, even crossing the street. Her love has also given her the desire to pursue volunteering at the local human society. One thing I can say for sure, if you allow Anna to care for your pet, it will be pampered beyond expectations.”

16. Jesse M.
About: I've worked in boarding facilities and veterinary offices for a combined 5 years. I'm experienced in providing care for dogs and cats of every age, nearly every breed, and with all kinds of medical conditions and behaviors. I work from home full time and can provide around the clock companionship and care. I love to get outside and go for walks and hikes, but I'm always happy to laze on the couch a bit too. I have one dog, Minnow, a 6 month old mixed breed puppy who is very friendly with all dogs. I have experienced administering oral medications and insulin, basic grooming, obedience and reactivity training, and puppy/senior care. I have previously fostered puppies in my home. I love all breeds from small to large, and anywhere in between! I have a very flexible work schedule. I often have weekend plans but am able to accommodate with notice. I do have one dog who I am the primary caretaker of. I live in St. Helena and love to take walks in the vineyards surrounding my neighborhood or over to Crane Park. I live with my boyfriend (pictured) who often helps provide care. I am comfortable crating, doing basic training, administering medication, and handling reactive or timid dogs. My goal is always to establish trust, and I'll always give time for your pet to warm up to me first. I'll do my best to meet special requests and make sure your pets are comfortable and happy while you're away!

17. Conner L.
“Conner has been amazing with my dachshund every time I need a sitter! I am always very nervous to leave her alone but Conner has given me so much peace of mind when I am away. He’s been dog sitting for me for 9 months now and is always very punctual and kind in his updates. You can’t find a better sitter than him!”

18. Brittany P.
About: Hey there! I'm a gal who doesn't own a dog (just 3 cats!) who works from home some days of the week and is happy to take care of your pooch! I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! Happy to help you out - bring on the dogs! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.

19. Ally M.
“Ally is like the Mary Poppins of dog sitters - I swear my dogs get excited when I pack my suitcase and they know Ally is on her way over! I wholeheartedly recommend Ally as an A+ lover of all pets; she has that innate sensibility that animals love - confidence, kindness, and of course the knowledge of when they need a little snack. Also a trustworthy and fun human being who will look after your house as well as she looks after your pets. A+++++ for Ally!”

20. Miranda K.
“Miranda took care of my two pups in our house while we were out of town for a week and couldn’t have done a better job. We have an older dog that requires seizure medication twice daily, as well as an energetic 1 year old puppy, and she did an excellent job with both. We got frequent pictures/video updates of lots of playtime, walks, and cuddles. When she saw the dogs again after dogsitting they practically tumbled over themselves to get to her to say hi. I wholeheartedly recommend her and will absolutely be using Miranda to dogsit whenever she’s available in the future.”
