About: I grew up taking care of my family's dogs (feeding, bathing, walking, playing with) and I started cat sitting for neighbors when I was ten. I am currently working a part time job from my home, so I have a lot of flexibility to walk, feed, or watch your pets overnight. I won't be able to board animals in my house but because I have two dogs of my own I understand how precious our animals are and promise to treat your animals with the same love and care I treat mine with.

About: I know how important routine and comfort is for pups when their human(s) go away. Staying consistent with the day to day norm is so important. I am committed to treating your dog the way you would while you are gone. A little more about me: I was born & raised in farm country with cows, horses, geese, chickens, cats, dogs ... you name it. I've been an animal lover from a young age and i've had / cared for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds etc. I started dog / house sitting in my late teens for friends and family. What sets me apart? Dogs of all sizes have stollen my heart but none more than the big breeds people often shy away from. I love Canes, Danes, Rotties, Pitties, Mastiffs, Dogos, Presas ... the bigger the dog the bigger the heart! Having been a mom to a papered Rottweiler as well as a Rottweiler rescue I can say no one dog is easier than another, they are all so unique and individualistic just like us. After rehabilitating and training my rescue Rottie to be a service dog I began helping others train their dogs as well (by referral only). It's been 1.5 years since my last Rottie love transitioned to the rainbow bridge and though I am not ready for another one of my own I do have the time and love to give to the pups of others. I help female entrepreneurs go from idea to launch and provide social marketing strategy post launch. Most of my work is done on my laptop & cell phone. About: Hey there! I'm a gal who doesn't own a dog (just 3 cats!) who works from home some days of the week and is happy to take care of your pooch! I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! Happy to help you out - bring on the dogs! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.

I will treat your dog/s as if they were my own. I have much experience with aging / elderly dogs and dogs with special needs (dogs with leash aggression, anxiety, allergies, and prosthetic limbs/wheel chairs). “Barbara is experienced, intuitive, dependable and very caring. Our very picky cat responded well to her and she seemed to know exactly what he wanted or needed. She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her. We're going to book Barbara again for another trip this year.”

About: Hi there! My name is Jesse, I'm a young professional working from home full-time, so I can provide around the clock companionship and care. I love having some extra company! I love to get outside and go for walks and hikes, but I'm always happy to laze on the couch a bit too. I have one dog, Minnow, a year old, 30 lb mixed breed dog who is very friendly and loves to play. As a teenager I worked in boarding facilities and veterinary offices for a combined 6 years. I've experienced working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and with all kinds of medical conditions and behaviors. I understand dog body language and psychology quite well. I have experience administering oral medications and insulin, basic grooming, obedience and reactivity training, and puppy/senior care. I have previously fostered puppies in my home, and raised my dog Minnow since she was 8 weeks old. I love all breeds from small to large, and anywhere in between! I have a very flexible work schedule. I often have weekend plans but am able to accommodate with notice. I do have one dog who I am the primary caretaker of. I live in St. Helena and love to take walks in the vineyards surrounding my neighborhood or over to Crane Park. I live with my boyfriend (pictured) who often helps provide care. I am comfortable crating, doing basic training, administering medication, and handling reactive or timid dogs. My goal is always to establish trust, and I'll always give time for your pet to warm up to me first. I'll do my best to meet special requests and make sure your pets are comfortable and happy while you're away! I am able to stay overnight in your home with advanced notice. I can bring my dog or leave her home.
