She pampers her own little fur babies just as she does mine when in her care. :) I always have Melissa in mind for my pups when we have to leave them behind. I know they will be well taken care of, played with and spoiled!”

9. Briana F.

“Briana is intelligent, thoughtful and caring -- the pet care trifecta! She has experience with many different species and provided exceptional care for our diverse group of pets, some of whom have "special" needs. From the first visit, we knew by her great questions that she was going to provide high quality care for our pets. Throughout our time away, she was really wonderful at communicating and providing updates. Our animals were all SO comfortable around her. She has the experience and calm confidence that put them at ease. We returned to find all our pets happy, clean and content. We could not be more pleased with her care and hope she will be available to watch over our pets the next time we are planning a trip out of town. Briana is definitely an asset to our community.”

10. Debra W.
“Debra is a great caretaker for my two dachshunds. When they are in her care she makes sure to take them on nice walks and treats them with love and respect. She always makes them feel at home and provides lots of love and snuggles.”

11. Barbara B.

“Barbara is experienced, intuitive, dependable and very caring. Our very picky cat responded well to her and she seemed to know exactly what he wanted or needed. She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her. We're going to book Barbara again for another trip this year.”

12. julie G.
“I’ve had the pleasure of living with Julie for some time, and I can confidently say that she is incredibly loving and attentive to her dog, Charlie, who is well-behaved and clearly well-cared for. I’ve also witnessed Julie’s interactions with other dogs, and she shows the same level of responsibility and kindness toward them. She genuinely cares about each pet she looks after. I would highly recommend Julie as a pet caregiver—she’s truly fantastic!”

13. Anna V.
“Anna is literally a dog lover, she loves and she treats the dogs like no one else. She takes the best care of the daily routine and diet, besides to play and make them company genuinely, cause she naturally wanna be around them. Anna is fascinated by the dogs and they can feel it by the way that they behave in her presence. It’s beautiful to see Anna’s relationship with the dogs, I highly recommend her.”

14. Jesse M.
About: I've worked in boarding facilities and veterinary offices for a combined 5 years. I'm experienced in providing care for dogs and cats of every age, nearly every breed, and with all kinds of medical conditions and behaviors. I work from home full time and can provide around the clock companionship and care. I love to get outside and go for walks and hikes, but I'm always happy to laze on the couch a bit too. I have one dog, Minnow, a 6 month old mixed breed puppy who is very friendly with all dogs. I have experienced administering oral medications and insulin, basic grooming, obedience and reactivity training, and puppy/senior care. I have previously fostered puppies in my home. I love all breeds from small to large, and anywhere in between! I have a very flexible work schedule. I often have weekend plans but am able to accommodate with notice. I do have one dog who I am the primary caretaker of. I live in St. Helena and love to take walks in the vineyards surrounding my neighborhood or over to Crane Park. I live with my boyfriend (pictured) who often helps provide care. I am comfortable crating, doing basic training, administering medication, and handling reactive or timid dogs. My goal is always to establish trust, and I'll always give time for your pet to warm up to me first. I'll do my best to meet special requests and make sure your pets are comfortable and happy while you're away!

15. Andrea H.
“Andrea is truly a wonderful caregiver to pets, dogs especially. Growing up our family always had dogs, and she was the one who bonded most with them. As soon as Andrea graduated from college, she got a rescue beagle. She now has two dogs of her own and takes care of my dog on occasion when I travel. My dog, Zoey, is an anxious mini-goldendoodle and can be quite a handful during thunderstorms and fireworks. Andrea is able to handle her anxiety with patience and consideration. I highly recommend Andrea as a responsible and loving pet caregiver.”

16. Conner L.
“Conner was amazing! I knew I could rely on him with the anxiety of a being a new dog mom. He kept me posted and had great communication with questions about my dog. He put extra care and time to take care of my puppy!”

17. Lauren L.

“Lauren is AWESOME!! She is very attentive and goes above and beyond expectations! Detailed updates after every visit! My cat immediately warmed up to Lauren!! I was at complete piece of mind while away from my cat. I would 10 out of 10 recommend Lauren to anyone who is in need of a pet sitter!!”

18. Brittany P.
About: Hey there! I'm a gal who doesn't own a dog (just 3 cats!) who works from home some days of the week and is happy to take care of your pooch! I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! Happy to help you out - bring on the dogs! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.

19. Miranda K.
“Miranda took care of my two pups in our house while we were out of town for a week and couldn’t have done a better job. We have an older dog that requires seizure medication twice daily, as well as an energetic 1 year old puppy, and she did an excellent job with both. We got frequent pictures/video updates of lots of playtime, walks, and cuddles. When she saw the dogs again after dogsitting they practically tumbled over themselves to get to her to say hi. I wholeheartedly recommend her and will absolutely be using Miranda to dogsit whenever she’s available in the future.”

20. Michaela R.

“Michaela is awesome. She is very communicative, courteous, and friendly. Her attention and commitment to our animals provides us with such peace of mind when we are away. 100 percent would recommend Michaela to care for your furry family members!”
